CHAPTER 16

( no ones p.o.v in particular)

Edd's fluttered eyes opened and he let out a soft yawn. The rays of light that entered Eddy's room beamed onto his face. He felt a warmth. He nuzzled into the source of heat, trying to catch himself. He felt strong arms wrapped around him. He opened his eyes a little wider, and they darted around his room, which he soon realized wasn't actually his.

(Edd's p.o.v)

I soon opened my eyes, my vision was still a little blurred from my slumber. I looked around the room, NY eyes quickly widened.
This isn't my bed.
Who's room is this?
Where am I?!
I tried my best to calm myself. I felt strong arms wrapped around me. They were quite strong, yet quite gentile. I turned my head to see who it was with me. It was.... Eddy?!

Why was I in his room?
How did I end up sleeping with Eddy?
What happened?
I looked at him, he was still fast asleep. He and I were very close yo each other. I saw every detail on his face. He had really matured indeed! Both physically and mentally. He was more reserved and focused now. He had quit doing things like pranks, and his scams. But that was mostly do to.. ' 'The incedent'. He was also taller, about two inches taller than me! And he was more muscular too! Why am I referring to my dearest friend as muscular? Do I really think this about him? I looked at his face, it looked more... Chiseled I guess. I kept on gazing at him until I realized that he was waking up. I tried to act as though I hadn't been staring at him.

His eyes opened and rubbed his face , he spoke in a groggy, and a bit husky tone.

" *yawn* morning sockhead~ 💕

I felt my face redden because of the way he said sockhead.😶

"M-morning, Eddy" I said back to him.

( Eddy's p.o.v)

I woke up, and rubbed my eye. I noticed that Edd was staring at me, blushing. Adorable.
A smiled at him and spoke.

" Morning sockhead ~ 💕"
I saw his face redden even more.

" M-morning, Eddy"

" so, how'd you sleep last night?" I asked whiles rubbing his side.
His blush seamed to get even darker, if possible.

" I-i slept fine, t-thank you for asking."
He said softly.

" Good"

There was a long pause. I saw him look around the room.

" Umm, Eddy, may I ask you what I am doing here. In your bedroom?"

" Well, you fell asleep last night. So I thought I'd just let you sleep with me tonight"

" .... Oh. Th-thank you Eddy.."

" no problem, any time"
His blush didn't show any signs of going away.

I opened my mouth, to speak when Edd started talking.

" Remember how we used to alwayd s gave sleep overs like this when we were kids."

I didn't think he would bring that up, but yeah, I did.

" yeah,"

" I kind of miss that."

" we don't spend enough yinecwith each other since we started highschool. I know we be graduating next year, but still. It was nice"

I didn't know he felt that way. When he said that way. When he said that 'we don't spend enough time together. It actually gave me some good that he liked me back. But I know that he doesn't.

We both had a long conversation, laughing, talking about the things we used to do together. I enjoyed being able to spend time with him and him alone.

( time skip)

( Edd's p.o.v)

We were laughing and having a good time together. Even though we were still laying in bed. I looked over at his alarm clock. 3 hours had passed by!! It was almost 12 pm.
And then I remembered. My date with Kevin is today! I don't know what I'm wearing or how I'm supposed to dress. Or what I'm supposed to bring! What do I do!? I need time to plan! I have to go now!
And we were having such a good time too.... *sigh*

" Hey Edd. How 'bout I make you some breakfast?"

Well... The dates at 6. I guess I can stay a little while longer.

( time skip)

I was sitting on the couch watching some TV. Eddy was in the kitchen making breakfast. The aroma traveled through the air. It smelt amazing! Since when could he cook!

" Edd!" He called for me. I went to the dinner table and took a seat.

( 3rd person p.o.v)

Eddy put two plates of food on the table. On the plates there was an omelette, French toast with whipped cream and Edd's favorite, strawberries.

" You really like strawberries right?"

" Correct " Edd said back to him.

He remembered, this for some reason really impressed Edd.

They both began to eat.
