CHAPTER 19

This chapter will be switching between Edd and Eddy's p.o.v.

( Edd's p.o.v)

I reached out and turned the alarm off. It was 5:00 am, which is the time I usually awaken on school days. Or at least try to.

( time skip)

After I got dressed I sat down at the table to eat my breakfast.

Usually I'm excited to go to school, and to expand my knowledge. However, today, if anything I'm feeling apprehensive. Last night, I got into a fight with Kevin AND Eddy.

Because of my actions, I may have lost my boyfriend, and my best friend. I guess I always Ed too. But that's not the same. I still don't understand why after Eddy had left me, I felt such a pain in my chest. Or why it made me feel the way I did. I have never felt that way in a long time. The last time I felt that way was when my parents left me alone for the first time. And I don't know why I didn't feel that why when I was angry with Kevin.

When I arrive at school, I am going to apologize to Eddy. And Kevin too of course. But maybe Eddy first.

( Eddy p.o.v)

Its was Monday again. Just great! I hate school.

I still haven't come up with a plan on how I'm gonna apologize to Edd. I'll think of something.

I picked up my bag and walked out the door.

(Edd's p.o.v)

It was now 7:26, I still had sometime before school starts.

I sat on my couch trying to kill as much time as possible.

Usually Ed and Eddy comes around this to pick me up and walk me to school.

But then I remembered, Eddy and I are no longer friends. He does not care for me anymore. But I really hope that if I apologize, he will like me again.

And Ed does not walk with us often anymore. Not since he started the football team. He's been leaving early for football practice. He and Kevin have practice twice a week. Ed does his morning runs and exercises also twice a week on the days before football practice. But he's free on one of the week days. I have absolutely no idea where he goes then. I try asking him, but I never get a chance to. When ever I see Ed, he seams as though his mind is elsewhere. He doesn't seam upset, he seams happier. I must remember to ask him what that is all about.

I checked my phone.

5 text messages from Kevin.

Kevin: hey dork

Kevin: ya still mad

Kevin: I still think u should just ditch that cheep skate

Kevin: u don't need dumb and dumber, you have me

Kevin: u there? U asleep or something?

I sighed deeply and put my phone away. I love Kevin, i really do, but he can't tell me not to hang out with my only friends. I started to walk to school. Alone. (😔)

(Eddy's p.o.v)

I reached school, it doesn't start for another 20 minutes. So that should be enough time to find Edd and apologize. I really hope he's not to angry with me.

I walked all around school, and I still couldn't find him.

( Edd's p.o.v )

I walked around the school. I still have around 20 minutes until classes begin. I couldn't find Eddy for the life of me. I wanted to find Eddy before school so I can get rid of this horrible feeling before class starts. I won't be able to work to my best of capabilities if I am thinking about Eddy all day.... And Kevin as well.

I saw Kevin in the hallways, I walked up to him and tapped him.

He turned and looked at me.

" oh, hey dorko, what's up?"

....what's up?!

" umm, can I talk to you?" I said.

" Uhhh sure..."

My lips formed a small smile

" ... But not here"

My smile faded.

" oh. OK"

He dragged me by my hand into the janitors closet. And locked the door.

" OK, what do want to tell me?"

" ummm, Kevin. How come we have to go into the closet?"

" uh, just because.. "

" because why?"

" JUST BECAUSE!!"

When he raised his voice it made me jump. I was now shaking for some reason. He must have seen based on what he said next.

" Jeez dork! I didn't mean to scare ya."

" i-it's ok"

" OK, now what did you wanna tell me and make it quick!"

" because classes are starting soon?"

" ..... Yeah sure.."

Ummmm, OK?

" now just tell me!!"

" ... I wanted to apologize, for yelling at you last night, and for what I said."

" that's it?"

" what do you mean by 'that's it'?"

I just decided to shake it off.

" Kevin? Are you mad at me??"

" Nah, if that's all you wanted to tell me then let's go! I have places to be dork!"

" oh, OK. I guess your right. Classes start soon"

" ... Yeah, that too"

Why is he acting so awkward?

I tried to give him a hug before we left the closet, but he pulled me off of him.
Maybe he is still mad at me. ( 😔 )
Something tells me that today isn't going to be a great day.

( Eddy's p.o.v)

Second period class was finally over.

Time to find Edd. I wanted to see him before school. I still Remember the sound of him crying.

"EDDY, DON'T LEAVE ME!!"

It sorta made me think that he kinda likes me. But he doesn't, but I still need to apologize for what I said. I feel horrible.

But first.. I have to find him...

I tried going by his locker again.

I walked by his locker upstairs, and there he was!!

I ran over to him, then i remembered how always that Edd says we're not allowed to run in the hallways. So I slowed down. I walked up behind him.
" Hey, double d"

He jumped a little, it was very adorable.

He whipped his head around.

" EDDY!"

( Edd's p.o.v)

" EDDY!"

I said with a raised voice. I found him!! Now I can ask him if we can be friends again.

" Hey.."

He said while rubbing the back of his neck.
" Hi Eddy, I wanted to talk to you..."

" YOU DID!! oh, uh, Edd, look I'm.."

" Eddy.. I'm sorry.. "

" your what?"

"I said I'm sorry" I repeated. "I apologize for last night". I felt my sinuses burning. Usually meaning that I was going to cry.
" c-can you please forgive me??"

" *sigh* Edd, you don't have to apologize, I'm one that should be apologizing. I'm sorry."

" So you don't hate me??"

( Eddy's p.o.v )

" So you don't hate me??"

" what?! Of course I don't hate you! I love you......"

Did I just say that.
I say Edd, he's blushing so hard.
Shit.
I need a cover.
" ....... Your my best friend!"

" p-pardon?"

" .... I said, I love you your my best friend "

"....oh"

" w-why, is there a problem?"

" No no. No problem."

" good."

There was a long awkward silence.

" So Eddy.. Does this mean that we're friends again???"

He had a cute desperate look on his face.

" Yes! Of course!!"

A huge smile just formed on his face. He looked for adorable!! I love him so much!! If only he knew.

" YAY!!"
Then he basically through himself at me, and I hugged him back.

We stayed like that for what seamed like ages.
" ... Eddy."

" Yeah, Edd?"

" I'm glad we're friends again"

" Me too.. Edd?"

" Yes, Eddy?"

" I never meant what I said about us not being friends"

" really?"

" yes"

We were still hugging. He was resting his head on my chest and I had my arms around his waist.

Everything was just perfect, until HE showed up.

( no ones p.o.v )

Kevin showed up out of no where and pulled Edd off of Eddy. No, he practically ripped Edd off of him.

" WTF!!" yelled Kevin.

He grabbed Edd by the arm.
Then he looked at Eddy. He looked furious.

" WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING TO MY DORK!!"

Eddy just stared at Kevin with and angry face and his hands in fists.

And then...
It happened...

There was a loud smaking sound.

Edd hit hard against the locker and felt his burning red cheek. Kevin hit him.

" What the hell were you doing!! Your belong to ME. Your not allowed to do that shit with some one else!!!!! "

Edd held his left cheek and was shaking in fear. Tears threatened to spill out.
He noded quickly.

Eddy was more than pissed now.

He pounced on Kevin and started to beat him.

" What the fuck shovel chin!!
"What gives you the right to hit him like that!! Who the fuck do you think you are?!!" He said whiles beating him.

Kevin started to hit back and hit Eddy right in the jaw.

Edd was now absolutely terrified, the two people he cared about were fighting again.

" Guys!! Desist!! Now!!"

But they never listened, they continued to fight.

Then, all of a sudden, Eddy was lifted off of the ground.

" Fighting is bad!!"

Eddy struggled to get out of the grip, whiles frantically looking around.

" WHAT THE FU- "

Kevin was also shocked and pissed. He slamed his fist on one of the lockers hard enough to leave a dent and stormed off.

And Edd was greatfull.

The figure put Eddy down.

" What the hell was that for lumpy?!"

" No fighting Eddy, fighting bad!"

" Ed!! Thank goodness for your arrival!!" Said Edd full of thanks.

Then Edd looked at Eddy.

" EDDY!! What were you thinking!?"

Eddy jaw dropped open.

" W-what do you mean what was I thinking!! Shovel chin just hit you!!"

" I know Eddy.... But you didn't have to do that."

" WELL I HAD TO DO SOMETHING!!"

Edd had a look of disappointment on his face. He shook his head and began speaking again.

" Its alright. Let's just go get some lunch. "

That's right!! Lunch!! They had completely forgotten about that.

" YAY!!"
Screamed an exited Ed.
" Do you think they have buttered toast!?"

" I'd seriously doubt it." Eddy said under his breathe.

( at lunch)

The three boys sat at their shitty lunch table with the poor lighting.

Eddy sat super close to Edd, and Edd naturally didn't mind.

They all ate their lunch in silence

Edd noticed that Ed's mind seamed to be somewhere else.

So Edd was the first the break the silence.
" ed, what are you thinking about??"

( Ed's p.o.v)

" ed, what are you thinking about??"

Oh! Hiya!!

I was just thinking about what I was going to do after school. Me and Rufus are going to get ice cream and look at pictures of chickens!!
I love CHICKENS!!

Rufus is my new boyfriend.

( hey, I do not own the character Rufus, he belongs to his creator on tumblr. But I enjoyed this character soooo much!! That I decided to add them in. Credit will be given at the end of this chapter)

I used to be with Rolf. But he said that I am not smart enough to be with him anymore. I still miss his chickens and other farm animals.

But Rufus promised me that after highschool, we will live together. And he will get me my own pet chicken!!

I met Rufus at the park, my best friends Eddy and double d did one of Eddy's scams. But then, something went wrong and double d got angry with eddy. It was horrible!! Worst the broccoli!! My friends were fighting!!

I tried to calm Eddy down, but he told me to take a hike. So I did!!

I left and took a hike at the park!! Just like Eddy said to do!

But, when I got there. There was was some guys I do not know. And they were being very mean like the aliens in the movie I watched with Rufus.

( flash back )

" heheh, hey guys look!! Its the stupid dork from from school!!"

" look at him!! With his unibrow, he looks so stupid"

" That's because he IS stupid, shithead"

Then a boy with red hair came in

" hey!! You have no right to call him stupid! When you guys are actual morons!!"

" hey, what'd you call us shitface!?"

Walks closer to the boy

" I called you.. MORONS
Look it up, its spelled
M-O-R-O-N-S "

then they all started to fight him, but the red haired boy beat them all to a pulp effortlessly.

Walks closer to ed

" hey"

" Hiya!!"

" what's your name hot stuff?"

" ..uhh MY NAMES ED!!"

" hahaha the names Stephan, Rufus Stephan."

*Shakes hand*

" Hello Stephan Rufus Stephan"

" HAHAHAHA"

( End of flashback)

My friends still don't know about Rufus. I don't like keeping secrets. But I'm not the only one keeping secrets!

I know, that Eddy likes Edd!
He thinks I don't know, but I do!!

I didn't tell them that I know, because Eddy thinks that I can't keep a secret. But I CAN keep a secret! I didn't tell that Eddy likes Edd. I didn't tell my friends that I'm dating Rufus. And I didn't tell Nazz, that Marie likes her now instead of Double D.

Everyboy says that I'm not smart. And that may be true! But Rufus says that I AM smart. And to not listen when people say I'm not smart.

( End of Ed's p.o.v)

Ed responded to Edd's previous question.

"GRAVEY!!"

Edd raised an eyebrow, then continued eating his lunch.

Eddy just rolled his eyes and said.

" oh brother."

( time skip)

School was over and Ed, Edd and Eddy were walking home together.

Kevin offered Edd a ride, but he declined his offer due the the events that previously took place.

And Kevin got really angry as usual. He then angrily stormed off leaving Edd. Then he left to go walk with his friends.

Whiles they were walking, Eddy's hand brushed on Edd's. Causing the the beanie wearing teen to blush. Ed was lost in his own world not noticing the action......

.....or so they thought.

I'm sorry for the boring chapter, but I promise that this plays a big role in the rest if the story. I'm also apologizing if you also feel that this story is going no where. I promise to try harder.
