Hi guys, since it's Halloween, I'm writing a Halloween themed chapter. It's probably gonna be terrible, but hey.
As a person born near Halloween..I feel the need.

This chapter is B B (before baby) therefore, it takes place in the past.

This chapter will also be fucked up and have absolutely nothing to do with the plot, nor will it affect the rest of the story. It's like a little story on its own. Please enjoy!

(3rd person p.o.v)

It's was that time of year again.
Where all the leaves would change from their beautiful vibrant green colour, to a gorgeous red and orange. Such a wonderful sight.

Houses, malls, everywhere in peach creek was decorated with Halloween decals and skeletons.

People rushed to get their costumes and limited edition pumpkin spice treats and lattes.

This was Edd's favourite time of year. So many adorable children walking around in their cute little costumes. Watching their little chubby faces light up with joy and excitement when you hand them out candies.

Scolding Eddy when he tried to steel the candy he bought for the kids in the neighbourhood.

"Eddyyyyy!!!" Edd whined."why aren't you in your costume?"

" 'Cause baby it's lame."

"Please?" He said giving him his best puppy dog eyes that he knew Eddy couldn't resist.

"C'mon double d, don't give me that look." Eddy said walking towards him. "You know I can't say no to you when you give me that cute little look."

"Pwetty pwease?" He said like a little child.

"Honey, I'm not dressing up like hawk eye."

"Why not?" He said tilting his head to the side.

"Because..I'm too old for Halloween."

"But Eddy!"

Then a wicked idea popped into his mind.

"Ok, let's make a deal."

"A..a deal?"

"Yeah."

"Um. Ok. What is the deal?"

"I'll wear your stupid costume, if you wear the sexy bunny costume I bought you."

Edd's face turned bright red.

"EDDY!!" He screeched. "I can't wear that! I'm handing out candy to CHILDREN!"

"Well, you can wear it when your done."

"*sigh* fine, I'll try on the costume for you later tonight if you dress up and help me hand out candy."

"It's a deal!" He said grabbing his waist, pulling him into a hungry kiss.

Edd pulled away after a minute.

"We have to go get dressed!"

He said running upstairs.

"Babe! I look stupid!" Eddy complained.

"Oh hush yourself! You look great!" Edd said.

Eddy wore his Hawkeye costume that Edd picked out.

Edd, he wore a steam punk costume with his long black hair tied back.

Edd dumped the candy into a bowl and placed it by the door. Their house was completely decorated for Halloween inside and out.

"Edd! Stay in your positions! The kids will be here any moment now-"

Just then, the door bell rang.

Edd squealed excitedly opening the door.

There stood a little girl dressed as a princess.

"Twick or tweat!" He said in the cutest voice.

"Why hello there, you make such a beautiful princess." Edd complimented.

"Thank you kind sir." She said in a high pitch voice.

Edd let her pick out two pieces of candy.

"Thank you." She said running off to her mommy holding her hand as they walked over to the next house.

After that, children all came by one by one.

Dressed up as all sorts of things.

Mal from descendants, Spider-Mans, Prince Charmings and you name it!

Edd was almost all out of candy.

Just then his doorbell rang yet again for that night.

"Oh! Who could that possibly be? I though all the trick-or-treaters went home."

"Sh! Babe! Don't answer it!" Eddy whispered " pretend not to be home."

"Eddy, I will do no such thing."

He said answering the door.

There stood Nat leaning against their doorframe dressed as a butt king with sceptre with a golden ass for his handle.

"Oh! Nathan..I wasn't expecting you. What an..interesting costume you got there."

"Yep! I made it myself." He said proudly. Well, that part was obvious, only Nat could think up something like that.

"Well, what brings you to our lovely household!"

"Oh!" He said walking into their house like he lived there. "I wanted to see if you wanted to come a haunted house with me?"

"A haunted house? Well, as fun as it sounds Nathan. I am going to pass up the offer. Haunted houses are..well..they're not for me. I have outgrown then a while ago."

"What Edd's saying is he's to chicken." Eddy said making fun of Edd.

"Eddy!"

"Oh! You guys! I don't mean a cheesy, fake, haunted house where puppets jump out at you! Oh no." He paused, the couple looked at him confused. "I mean, a real, haunted house."

"........"

"........" They stared blankly at him, then breaking out into laughter.

"Nat! There's no such thing as a real haunted house." Eddy said wiping tears out of his eyes.

"It is too haunted!" He argued like a little kid crossing his arms. "You just don't wanna come because your too scared."

"Me? Scared? I'm not scared of anything!" Eddy said in a cocky tone of voice.

"But Eddy" Edd said raising a finger. "That's not entirely true...."

Eddy covered his mouth up before he could finish talking.

"Fine. If your not to chicken, then come."

"Fine, we'll come. Right Edd?"

"But Eddy..."

"C'mon baby, you don't believe in ghosts, do you?" He said rubbing Edd's back soothingly.

"I...I suppose not." He said looking down.

"Then let's go!!" Nat said grabbing both of their hands.

When they arrived, Nazz, Johnny, Rolph, Marie, and Lee stood around the house.

"We're here!" Nat yelled with Edd and Eddy fallowing behind him.

" 'bout time you showed up dude." Said Nat.

"Salutations everyone." Edd said shyly.

"Green-haired boy convinced smart-Edd boy to attend your spooky gathering?"

"Yep! No one can say no to my good looks." He said winking at Edd.

Edd blushed at Eddy watched, jealous that someone else besides him was making his boyfriend turn Crimson red.

Edd stared nervously at the broken down house, it looked like one of those places where people do to die. His hands started shaking ever so slightly. He didn't want to admit it in front of hid friends, but he was scared. No, terrified.

He couldn't even handle a spooky movie, let alone this.

"Well? What are we waiting for?! Let's go find some ghosts!!" Johnny yelled at the top of his lungs.

Everyone cheered, clapping their hands and pumping theirs fists in the air.

Well, except for Eddy who thought that this was bogus, and Edd who felt like he was gonna shit himself he was so scared!

But he kept on his brave face mask.

They all fallowed after Nat and Nazz into the large, gaping hole in the wall.

The house was large like a mansion, and made completely out of decaying wood. Spiderwebs hung from ever corner, the sound of dripping from the leaking ceilings. The creaking sound of the floor as their footsteps sunk into the rotting material, leaving an imprint of their foot.

This place gave Edd the chills. He held Eddy's hand tight, but felt no comfort.

He looked around, the place wreaked of mildew and rotting flesh. He saw an old painting framed, it was crooked and looked like it has been around for centuries. The eyes of the man pierced through his soul and he instantly was filled with dread. He had the awful feeling that something terrible was going to happen, most likely to him.

He wanted to get out, but he didn't want to admit that he was scared and face his friends teasing that he feared would never seize.

He couldn't look away from the image, it attracted his eyes like a magnet, he had this odd sensation like it was stealing his soul. But he knew that it was just his imagination getting the better of him.

"They say this place his haunted." Lee started. " that people got murdered here, and their souls still remain speaking revenge of those who's ancestors had wronged them." She finished.

The more Edd stared at the painting, the more he couldn't focus. He felt like it was some how, speaking to him, calling his name. His eyes started glowing red a bit.

"Martin." He said in a deadpan voice.

"Pardon?" Eddy asked.

"Martin..Xavier.."

"Babe?" He said even more confused.

"Martin...Xavier..Smith..died 1924.."

Everyone was looking at him oddly now.

"...in this house..there." He said pointing over to a blood stain on the floor. "He is angry. He wants ...he wants him..to suffer." He said still staring at the spot.

"Cool story Double D!" Johnny said. "Where'd you here that legend from!"

"He told me." He said, it was his voice, yet it did not sound like him.

"Who did baby?" Eddy asked.

"He did...over there." He said pointing to the left. Everybody looked to where he was pointing. No one was there. As they looked back at him he still pointed completely out of it. "He told me and he's angry..you guys must go." He continued.

"Wow! Never knew you were good at being so spooky Edd." Nazz complimented with a smile.

"Hey! Look over here!" Nat called out. Everyone fallowed, except for Edd, no one noticed though.

After everyone had already started walking off, he snapped out of his small trance and fallowed in his friends direction.

"Well that was peculiar." He said to himself.

"Look at this?" He said, it was a dinning area, with a broken table and a plate still out.
"Creepy, isn't it?" He said pointing at the room that looked like it had been ripped apart by a tornado.

Edd just looked around, he felt strangely cold on the inside, and he couldn't skate that feeling like something bad was going to happen.

Edd.

A voice called out.

"Did you all me Eddy?" He asked.

"No, why?"

"No reason."

Edd, over here.

The voice said.

He stepped away from the crowd of his friends and did what every sense in his body told him not to, he fallowed the voice.

Edd!

It said a little bit louder.

He felt like he recognized this voice.

Eddward, help me.

He knew this voice.

"Ben?" He asked. His cousins name, he had passed away many years ago. They were around the same age and he was his only friend at the time.

Eddward it's me, Benjamin, save me! Hurry!

He fallowed the little boys voice.

"Ben! I'm coming!" He voice echoed. He didn't find it suspicious at all that his dead cousin was calling his name. He ran after it.

He found himself in a smaller area of the house, almost like a hallway. It seamed to be sectioned off from the rest of the house.

He looked back from which he came, but the door was gone. Ever exit there once was had some how vanished.

"B-Ben..?"

"Eddward." Said the voice, he appeared to be alone.

"Ben, where are you?"

"Right here Edd." It said. He turned around and the same painting he saw earlier was there, in front of him.

Edd took a step back. His heart started to palpitate at rapid speed.

"Who..who's there?" He said in a shaky voice. "Reveal yourself at once!" He yelled too scared to move.

He knew that he shouldn't have come here. He should've told them that he was scared.

"Boo." He heard from behind him, a cold breath against his neck causing every little microscopic hair to stand at end. He jumped and turned around.

No one was there.

"I said reveal yourself!"

"Oh my precious boy." He turned around only to face a man standing behind him.

He had dark brown hair, wavy and tied back. He dressed in a dapper outfit, a tail coat and fancy fedora with a blue feather. He had a matching blue tie, and a smug grin..he ...he was the guy from the painting..but different! He had a ghostly blue glow

"W-Wh-who-who a-are you?" Edd said shaking.

"You already know my name darling." He said in a deep almost inhuman voice.

"Y-you're Martin Xavier Smith?"

"In the flesh.. I don't have flesh."

"Wh-what are you if you have no flesh?" He said petrified now.

"You act like you haven't seen a demon before."

What?! No! Demons do not exist! Or at least he hoped that they didn't.

"Wh-what do you want with me?" Edd asked? "Where's Ben?"

"Ben? He's long gone. I only used his voice yo make you run faster darling."

"Why do you keep referring to me as darling!"

"You look just like him."

"W-who?"

"Vincent, Maxwell Vincent.. They took him from me... They DeSerVed ToO Die! NoT hIm!"

"Wh-what?"

"And they are going pay!"

"Aren't you being a bit irrational?"

"That's what he would've said.."

"..........if you're both dead...why can't you just be with Max?"

"Because YOU are Maxwell! His reincarnation, returns in the seventh generation, the curse. So I am taking YOU."

"Wh-what!" He yelled. Glowing chains appeared on his wrists, the tugged against him, dragging him into the broken mirror that opened like a portal. "No! Let me go!" He said screaming, trying his best to plant his feet firmly on the ground, but his demonic powers were too powerful.

"Stop fighting this! It's going to happen weather you like it or not you puny mortal! You love me and we are to be married as soon as we get to my dimension!"

"I can't go with you! I can't get married!"

"WHY NOT!?"

"Because, there's someone else." He said, acting like he knew who the fuck this demon guy was.

He was immediately dropped and the chain disappeared off of his hand.

"WHO!!??" He said with a demonic echo in his voice. His eyes glowed red with rage.

Edd didn't know if it was smart to tell an all powerful demon show was apparently in love with him his current boyfriends name.

"You're mine!! I'm gonna rip out bus organs one by one!!'" He yelled. "But I'll need a flesh body first. Sorry love." And before Edd knew it,he was ripped out of his own body and Martin took his place.

"What?! What did you do?! Why am I here, and my body is there?!" He screamed frantically.

"sorry love~ you're mine, so everyone else must die!" It was strange seeing his own body say these words, and having him left with no control.

Eddy kept looking around, his beloved boyfriend dressed as his steampunk hero nowhere in sight.

"What's the matter Eddy?" Johnny asked with a smile on his face.

"Have you seen Edd?"

"Yeah he's...huh, where'd he go?"

"You mean you don't know?!? Where is he?!" Eddy said panicking.

"Relax Eddy-o, he's probably taking a piss."

".......there is nowhere to piss in this HOUSE Johnny!"

Where could he be? What happened to him? Eddy looked around, this was a creepy ass place that looked like people had been murdered here once a goddamn week. That, mixed with his poor scared boyfriend lost...

Just then there was a sound. A sound of bones cracking as someone stepped upon them.
He turned his head towards that awful sound.

"hello Eddy? Miss me?" He said in a dark tone of voice. But Eddy was too worried to notice, or care.

"Edd!" He said running up to him giving him a hug. "Baby, I was so worried! You were right! We shouldn't have come here!" He said burying his face his neck.

Then Eddy was pushed off by Edd, with such a powerful force.

"Edd?" He asked concerned.

Edd had such a look of our hatred.

"You!" Everyone ran towards the commotion.

"What's going on here guys?" Nazz asked.

"YOU!! This is your fault! You took away my lamb-chop!!"

"Your ..your what? Baby what are you talking about? Lamb chop? I can buy you anything you want, what is it?" He said calmly.

"Stop! Stop stop stop stop stop!!!" Edd said! A knife appearing in his hand.

'Stop it! Don't hurt him!!' The real Edd cried.

"Sorry lamb chop! I must do this for our future!"

"Edd? Who the fuck are you talking to?" Marie asked.

Just then, a ball of fire appeared in Martin's  hands and he threw it at Marie. She let out a scream of pain as she burned and became nothing but a pile of ashes. Lee cried at the loss of her sister and Edd cried as well. Her ghost appeared next to Edd's unseen soul.

'The fuck?!' Marie's ghost asked.

Everybody screamed in terror.

"You can't escape your fate mortals!"

"He speaks with the tongue of another!" Rolph yelled running away.

"What the fuck?!? Nat! I didn't think this place was really haunted! Marie's dead! She's fucking dead!" Nazz yelled with tears in her eyes.

'No! Martin stop!' Edd pleaded to him. 'I'll do anything! I'll go back with you if you just leave my friends alone and bring back Marie!'

"Sorry darling little kitten, but that's not how us demons work. We kill those who get in our way."

He created another fire ball throwing it at Rolph.

"Rolph burns like nana's food from homeland! Farewell my dear friends! Rolf will see you on the other side just like nana's cat." Were his last words.

He turned towards Eddy, and insane grin formed on his face.

"Your turn tubby! Any last words?"

'No!!' He cried. 'Stop! My friends! Stop this or else I will never marry you.' Edd said in attempt to get him to stop.

Martin floated down to Edd grabbing his wrists. A mark burned into his skin, Edd let out a cry feeling the searing pain.

Symbols showed up, almost like a secret code.

"You are mine for an eternity! You will never return to this place, and you shall be my devoted husband."

Edd didn't want to say yes, but if it meant that he would bring his friends back to life and leave the rest alone, then it was worth it.

Edd nodded trying his best not to cry.

Martin smiles grabbing Edd's hand, cutting open a portal out of thin air with his fire which rested the shape of a knife.

He threw Edd into the portal, once he would go in there, he would never return to his friends, his family, or his boyfriend.

This was in fact the worst day of his life, and the worst. Halloween ever.

As Martin left Edd body, it fell limp onto the cold, decaying, ground. Marie and Rolf were revived. Eddy ran towards his boyfriends lifeless body, and he sat there and cried. Nothing would wake him up, he gone forever.

He never got to see him in that sexy bunny costume, he never got to see him again.

Well....that was kinda screwed up...and random. I made it up as I went along. My imagination is weird. Don't worry guys, Edd's not dead forever, he'll return in the next real chapter.
