I don't know what to call this chapter without completely giving away what it's about. 😕

(3rd person p.o.v)

It was 6:am, Edd had problems sleeping, his stomach was giving him issues, and he was having some contractions. He didn't think much of it because he was only about 8 months through his pregnancy. Since he couldn't sleep he decided start making breakfast for both him and Eddy.

He was going to make waffles, eggs and some coffee. He went to go get two plates and mugs to set the table. He was carrying the plates when a pain shot through his lower stomach. He winced at the pain, but dismissed it as one of those small contractions you get through out the pregnancy. Except he was confused since this was more painful than the others. After he calmed himself a bit he continued setting the table.

Just as he was about to put down the plate he felt a sharp jolt near his lower abdomen , he shrieked and doubled over in pain causing him to drop the plate which shattered to hundreds of tiny pieces. Broken glass was shattered all across the kitchen floor. Eddy heard the sound of glass shattering and his fiancés cry. He ran downstairs into the kitchen.

"Edd?!" He ran over to him and kneeled down next to him. "Edd what's wrong?! Are you okay?" Edd was panting and his face was flushed red. He felt a combination pressure and unbearable pain.

"E-Eddy...the b-baby..."

"What?! Right now?!" He said with the sound of panic clear in his voice. "You're not even 9 months in yet, you're blearily even 8 months in."

Edd groaned in pain. "Eddy! The baby's coming now! We have to go the the hospital!"

"O-okay, I'll go get the bag real quick-"

"Wait! We have to call Lori and Rave!"

"There's no time baby, we'll call them when we get to the hospital."

"But I promised I would call them when it was time for the baby to be born." He pouted.

"Fine." He groaned and shot both Lori and Rave a text. It was too early in the morning for this.

He texted Lori and Rave, Lori of course told Arden. Rave told Nat, who told Nazz, who told Benny, who told Ed since they were both friends since they had been on the same soccer team. And before they knew it, the whole cul de sac was making their way to Peach Creeks local hospital.

Eddy grabbed the hospital bag with everything Edd and the baby needed and helped him into car. He started the car quickly and drove as fast as he could to the hospital with getting into an accident or going over the speed limit. He was half way to the hospital when...

"Eddyyy~ why did you stop the car!" He moaned in pain.

"I'm sorry baby, traffic!"

"Arrgg! Eddy, this baby's coming now!"

"I know, I know." He honked the horn a couple of times. "What the hell is going on." He mumbled under his breath. He rolled down the window and peered out. There was a nasty traffic jam!"

"Edd-yyyy!" He whined. "What's going on?"

"Uhh." He ran his hand through his hair. "Looks like there's a traffic jam-"

"WHAT?!" He yelled. "You mean I'm going to have my baby in a car?!"

"I'm doing everything I can Edd. I don't know what the say."

"*pants* that's not very...reassuring Eddy."

~*~*~meanwhile at the hospital~*~*~

Lori, Arden, Rave and everyone else who grew up in the cul de sac was there.

"Where's Edd?" Rave asked Nazz.

"What do you mean 'where's Edd'? You mean you don't know?!" Arden yelled.

Just then the saw Edd in a bed being rolled to a hospital room. He looked pretty far into labour.

"Aaannngh! Eddy! *pants* is the traffic starting to move?"

"Very slowly. Don't worry I'm going to get you to the hospital okay babe."

"Ngh Eddy!"

"What is it?!" He said frustrated. His fiancé was going into labor, they're in the middle of a bad traffic jam, there's no one else to help them deliver the baby, and there's nothing he can do about it.

"Eddy look! *pants*" he looked over at Edd, after a couple seconds of analyzing him he'd realized that Edd's pants were soaked. His water broke. Shit.

Edd moaned in pain. "O-okay babe. Don't panic! I promise that I'll get you to a hospital."

Eddy pulled out his phone and called 911, he told them the situation and asked for an ambulance.

About 20 minutes later the ambulance showed up and paramedics carried him inside. Eddy promised that he'd meet him at the hospital as soon as he could.

The ambulance's sirens blared and sped off to Peach Creeks Hospital.

Soon enough Edd was being rushed to a hospital room by the doctors. They were special doctors who specialized in rare or unnatural types of pregnancies, including male pregnancies. By the time the paramedics had gotten Edd to the hospital he was almost fully dilated.

His friends were all there, Nazz, Johnny, Lori, Jimmy, Sarah, everyone. They tried to follow him into the room but the nurse had told them that only the father of the child and family members.
They had to explain to the lady that he basically had no family members. (Since they disowned him, but they didn't mention that part) they allowed Rave and Lori since they were the closest thing he had to family.

They went into room 118 where Edd was placed into the hospital bed. The doctor said that he was almost fully dilated and it was almost time to push. But he said that he couldn't have the baby until Eddy got there.

"Sir, you have to push, this baby is coming out one way,nor the other."

"B-but, I can't! I need to wait for Eddy-"

"Edd, I know you want him to be here when the baby is born. But the baby is coming soon." Said Rave, he was kneeling down next to Edd's bedside.

"But he can't miss his first child being born! He'd be devastated."

"I know I know, but he's not here yet, you can't wait any longer, that's won't be good for the baby." The doctors and nurse got Edd into a hospital gown and started preparing him to give birth.

"Arrgh! Hah! We have to wait for him to get here." Lori held his hand.

"I'm sorry Edd." She gave him a sympathetic look.

"Ok, Mr. Vincent, push when I tell you to push, and don't forget inhale and exhale." The doctor instructed.

"Ok push."

"But-"

"Edd! Just do what the doctor lady says!"

"Lori-!"

"As a doctor my self- physiologist." He told the doctor with smile. The doctor looked back at her with no expression of any emotions. Lori's smile faltered a bit, she looked back at Edd. "You should follow your doctors instructions.

"Lori, as a "doctor" myself too- scientist" he clarified "you can't brag to other doctors about being a doctor."

Lori frowned. "Anyways, you need to do what she says, even if Eddy isn't here yet-"

"Wait! I'm here!" Eddy was by the door leaning against the doorframe. He was panting and there was sweat visibly dripping from his forehead. "You don't know what I did to get here."

Flash back to Eddy clawing his way through crowds of people and running through hallways looking for the room Edd was in. He opens the door 112 and runs in, there's an old man laying there in a bed with tubes.

"You're not Darlene." He said.

"...good observation skills!" Eddy says before running out the room. He did this several more times before finding Edd.

"Eddy you made it!" Edd said happily. Eddy kissed him on the cheek.

"I promised you I would."

"I was almost thinking that you'd be too late." He said with a sad smile.

"Sorry. But I'm here now, right?" Edd nodded and smiled.

Just then another doctor hurried into the room. "Doctor Stark!"

"What is it Hudson! Can't you see I'm in the middle of delivering a baby?!"

"But it's an emergency!" She said frantically. "There has been complications with another patient."

"Call another doctor to take care of it! This child is coming now!"

"But Stark! You're the only medic qualified enough for this specific situation!"

"*sigh* fine." She said getting up.

"W-what? You said it yourself! This baby is coming now! You can't just up and leave!" Rave complained. Dr. Stark went with Dr. Hudson.

"There's another doctor who can deliver your baby." Hudson explain. "Dr. Donovan, come in here."

A young handsome man stepped into the hospital room. He had neatly cut jet black hair, a clean shaved face and these deep coloured eyes that were an unnatural shade of purple.

"Lance?" Edd asked confused.

"Eddward?"

"Wait, you two know each other?!" Eddy said shocked looking back and forth between the two.

"Yes." Edd said. "Lance and I were friends in university." He didn't mention to Eddy about how they met in a coffee shop and Lance tried to ask him out.

"Yes." Lance nodded and smiled, his teeth were as pearly white as the actors in crest commercials.

Eddy didn't know who this guy was, but he was extremely attractive, and he was close to Edd, so he doesn't like him.

The silence was broken in the room when Edd yelled out in pain. Dr. Donovan quickly got to work at delivering the baby.

"Alright Edd, it looks like you're fully dilated and ready to begin pushing." He elevated Edd's legs. Eddy was happy and not happy at the same time. On one hand, he was going to be a father, and he was having a child with the beautiful love of his life. But on the other hand, his baby was being delivered by a handsome doctor with beautiful eyes. Who also basically had his face between his lovers legs whiles he had to sit there and watch. But that was probably just his jealousy speaking.

He shouldn't let his stupid jealousy ruin what was supposed to be a happy and memorable moment.

"EEEERRRRRRGGHH!!" He groaned in pain.

"Ok, now push, and don't forget to breathe the way the nurse showed you." Edd nodded and began his breathing technique, specially for people giving birth.

"I see a head, you're doing great Edd, keep it up." Edd nodded again, he was sweaty and his face had turned red.

"E-Eddy. Hold my hand?" Edd asked, he had tears welling up in his eyes.

"Of course ba- hggh!" Edd squeezed his hand so tight, he could practically hear his bones and joints cracking.

'Forget about the pain in you hand Eddy!' He thought to himself 'remember that he's feeling a lot more pain than you are! Be a man Eddy! Be a man!'

"Eddy! I-I-I ca-can't...!"

"Can't what babe?"

"It hurts Eddy! I can't do this!"

"I know it hurts baby. You're doing great! You can do this. Trust me."

"Nngh! O-okay Eddy." Eddy kissed him on the cheek. "You can this babe, bring our little angel into the the world."

"I'm never having kids." Lori said with a pale face.

"Ok, Edd, the heads out, next is the shoulders and then the rest of the baby. You're going to feel a little more pressure."

"A LITTLE MORE PRESSURE! THIS IS MORE THAN A LITTLE BIT OF PRESSURE!"

"I know that you're feeling pain right now Mr. Vincent, but you need to remain call!"

"REMAIN CALM?! DON'T TELL ME TO REMAIN CALM!"

"Please remember to relax and take deep breaths."

"FUCK YOU LANCE! FUCK YOU!"

Rave, Lori and Eddy's eyes widened, Edd rarely swore.

Eddy was just thankful that Edd's anger wasn't directed towards him.

"I can see the shoulders. One more big push alright! Nice and hard this time."

"HANNNNGGGHHHHG!" Edd pushed with all his might this time. After a couple minutes there was a shrill cry that rang throughout the room.

"Congratulations Edd, you are now a proud parent." He smiled. "Nurse Patsy will take your child to be washed and checked for any illness."

Edd smiled and panted from being out of breath.

"You did it babe." He kissed Edd on the temple. "What did I say? I knew you could do it. You're a strong person."

20 minutes later, the same nurse named Patsy came back holding a little pink bundle in her arms.

"Congratulations. You have a beautiful little baby girl." She passed her over to Edd "she's quite small for a new born, but she's healthy and all of her vital organs are fully functional."

Edd looked down at his new daughter, she was small and cute and peacefully sleeping. After a couple seconds her eyes fluttered open, she had these big beautiful hazel eyes similar to Eddy's. She smiled and giggle as you looked up at her new parents.

"Awe~ Eddy, look at her~" Edd used his finger to move the blanket a bit from her face and she grabbed his finger with her tiny hand.

"She's a real cutie." Rave complemented.

"Aweeeeee!! Look at the little baby~" Lori said in a baby talk voice.

"Would you like to hold her Eddy?" Edd asked. Eddy nodded, not taking his eyes off his brand new baby daughter. Edd carefully passed her to Eddy. He looked down at her little face. "You're a father now."

He was a father now. She was so small and precious, she could almost fit her whole entire body in one of his hands because that's how little she was. She had a tiny face, with a tiny nose and tiny mouth, and she greatly resembled Edd. The only part of her that looked like Eddy was the eyes, but that was okay. She looked up at him with a wide toothless smile, and she giggled. A couple tears managed fall down his cheek. Edd was in awe of the sight before him. Eddy holding their new baby daughter with a big proud grin and tears flowing out of his eyes. Lori pulled the camera that was packed in the baby bag for moments specifically like this, and took a couple pictures of both Eddy and Edd hold the baby.

Their beautiful moment was quickly ruined by a crowd of noisy people all entering the room at once. Before they knew it, every single one of their friends were there. Every. Single. One. Edd was both happy, and extremely annoyed.
Nazz and her kids were there, Nat holding Crystal, Ed, Rufus, Isaac, Johnny, Rolf, Jimmy, Sarah, Arden, everyone. Including Marie, her sisters and...Jen?

The room was very crowded, the pissed off look was clear as day in eddy's face. They were having a touching family moment, and they spoiled it.

"WHERE'S THE BABY?!" Sarah yelled. "I CAME TO SEE A BABY, AND I DON'T SEE ONE!" Now Eddy was even more pissed off, why was she here?! Who invited her here?! The nurse lady said family members only.

"I hope you don't mind if I invited everyone here the see the baby." Nazz said with a smile.

"No. Not at all." Eddy said through gritted teeth.

"I wanna hold her!" Sarah yelled.

"No me!"

"No me!" Before the knew it almost every one of the the new visitors were yelling about who got to hold the baby."

"Settle down everyone!" Nazz yelled. "Everyone will get a chance to hold the baby."

"Excuse me!" Eddy yelled over them. Everyone shut up. "She's my kid, therefore me and Edd decide who gets to hold her."

"That's not fair!" Said Sarah. "I came here to see a baby, so I get to hold one!" She argued.

"You don't make the rules ya whiny brat!" Spoke Arden. "It's there kid, it's up to them to judge who gets to hold her. And she's a new born baby, her immune system is weak. you guys just came from outside, you're filthy!"

"Fine." Sarah frowned. Instantly she put on her best innocent expression. "Edd, will you let me hold the baby?" She put him on the spot, everyone was looking at him like he was a jerk if he said no. He said "ok" softly and carefully handed her over to her. "Just be extra careful alright."

Sarah grinned and took the baby. "Oh! She's so cute! She looks just like my old baby dollies!"

"Except she's a real baby, so be careful." Edd said nervously, every second she held her he felt even more anxious and the longer she held her the angrier Eddy got the the brat he disliked since child who was just given the permission to hold his first born child.

"Ooh! Let me hold her!" Jimmy said. Sarah passed her over to Jimmy, and so it began, they all took turns holding the baby girl, passing her down the line of people. First Sarah, then Jimmy, then Johnny, then Nazz, then Benny, then Rolf, then Nat. (A/N: exactly what he didn't want to happen, happened) After a while the baby was passed to Arden, who looked at her for a second and then quickly, but carefully passed her over to Edd. Who was very thankful, the way they passed her down made his anxiety level rise, some of them didn't even know how to hold her correctly.

"Awee! I didn't get a chance to hold her!" Nat whined. Rave shot him a look, which he got the message to shut up.

"Uh, could you guys please leave" Eddy asked irritated. "Edd needs to...rest after giving birth."

"Awe." Nazz said disappointed "But you're right, Edd needs to rest you guys, I would know since I gave birth to two kids." Some people protested but Arden and Nazz eventually convinced them to get out to give the new family some space."

"What is the name of the new Ed-girl?" Asked Rolf (a/n: spare me guys, I have no idea how Rolf would talk, half the stuff that comes out his mouth makes almost no sense to me at all)

Eddy looked towards Edd. "You gave birth to her, it's only fair that you get to name her"

"Well, I was thinking about the name..."

But seriously you guys! I've had problems deciding on a name. I figured you guys would just agree on one name. That, or one name would stand out yo me more than the others. But no such luck. You all gave me good names, and none of you will vote on a name like I asked. There fore, I will not update this book UNTIL you guys can agree on a name, or until more of you go back to chapter 22 and vote.
But until then! I. Will. Not. Update.
