Chapter 21- Making amends

Bodhi held Logan's hand as they walked into the hotel bar, and over to the bar. Brooklyn handed the bartender her credit card, informing him that all their drinks were to be charged to that card.

Bodhi looked over at Logan, and leaned into his ear "Logan, what's going on with Brooklyn?"

"I have no clue." he says while shaking his head, still trying to figure it out "I'm not exactly sure what she's up to, but she's definitely up to something... I don't trust her that's for sure, and neither should you." he said quietly, then looked at the bartender when he was asking what they wanted.

"I'll have a, Captain and Diet Coke." Bodhi said to the bartender. "And I'll have a, Jack and Coke." Logan said.

Rick turned around, and looked at Logan "Someone wanting to get feisty tonight?"

"Depends." Logan responded nonchalantly while eyeing Brooklyn. "I'll be fine, as long as no one pisses me off."

After they ordered their drinks, they rounded a couple tables together and sat down, celebrating the good night they had. Logan noticed everyone's drinks were getting low, and headed over to the bar, ordering drinks, and shots for everyone. He figured since Brooklyn was buying, he'd take advantage of it, something he never thought he'd ever see.

Brooklyn looked at Bodhi, and smiled "So Bodhi, you were Logan's nurse, am I right?"

"Yes." Here we go, she thought to herself.

"Did you know who he was when he first arrived at the hospital?" Brooklyn asked, placing the straw in her mouth, drinking the last of her drink.

"No, actually I didn't... it's kind of funny, my friends knew who he was, and that night I was supposed to be at the concert with them, but I ended up not being able to go."

"Interesting... so, what made you do what you did? If you don't mind me asking... if you didn't know who he was, then why did you risk your career for him?"

Bodhi felt like she was being cornered, and started feeling nervous. She looked at the guys who looked curious themselves, and wondered what was taking Logan so long to get drinks. She bit down on her bottom lip, and began stirring her drink with her straw. She didn't feel she had to answer her, and was hoping this wasn't something to try and get her into any trouble, even though Grant already had gotten the charges dropped.

Brooklyn laughed, and grinned "You did know him, didn't you?"

"No... no, I didn't know him." she said, with a little hint of irritation in her voice "The reason being for what I did, was because the doctors weren't listening to me, whenever I mentioned he was responding to me. And when I heard they were going to pull the plug, I decided to save his life and get him out of there, before they could do anything to him. Had they waited a couple more days, they would have witnessed him open his eyes."

Logan came back with their drinks, and Bodhi gave him a look of relief, when he handed her, her drink. "Now what?" Logan asked, sighing.

"I was just asking Bodhi why she risked her career, to save you... quite impressive. I never would have done that... I mean, I never would have risked my career for someone who I didn't know."

"Well, there are people out there who have big hearts... which, obviously you don't have." Logan scoffed, sliding Brooklyn's drink over to her.

Brooklyn grabbed her drink, and extending her middle finger out as she grabbed her glass, hoping Logan would see it. He didn't see it, but Bodhi and a couple others did, and giggled. "Something funny?" Brooklyn asked Bodhi.

"Nope, I thought I saw someone trying to be intelligent, but I was mistaken, it was someone with a lack of intelligence." Kurt and Rick quickly snapped their heads over to Bodhi, surprised to hear her comment, and laughed knowing it was meant towards Brooklyn.

Bodhi was loosening up the more she drank, she was talking more with the guys, and was quick to smart off to Brooklyn whenever she opened her mouth towards her. Bodhi heard Uptown Funk come on the jukebox, stood up, and began dancing on Logan's lap. Smiling, singing, and having a little fun, by moving her hips around Logan's lap, trying to get him turned on.

She turned around, cupped his face and pressed her lips against his "I think I'm done, my head is spinning." she said, after she felt like she was going to fall over. He knew she was done, and looked at his friends as he stood up "I better get her to bed." he says, chuckling. He saluted the guys, then looked at Brooklyn "Thanks for the drinks, that was really nice of you."

Logan was able to get Bodhi back to the room, and into bed. She didn't last long the moment her head hit the pillow, and was out like a light. He sat on the bed, turned on the TV, and began searching the channels, when he couldn't find anything, he stepped outside with his notebook, and sat on the chair, listening to the waves come in.

He was thinking of songs to write, and began writing ideas down as he thought of them. He flipped back to the page that was written about Brooklyn, and cringed when he re-read what he wrote. He was just about to start scribbling on the page, until he heard Brooklyn's voice next to him.

He looked up, saw her standing there, and frowned "What are you doing here." he groaned.

"I was out walking the beach, thinking about things, saw you sitting here, and figured we could talk" she said quietly. She looked over at the other chair, and looked back at Logan "Can I sit?"

"I guess..." he says, setting his notebook down onto the ground. He didn't feel like talking to her, but felt since nobody was around, and Bodhi was sleeping, he figured now would be a good time to finally clear the air between them, hoping they could finally solve their issues.

He scratched the back of his head, wondering if he should speak first, but she ended up beating him to the punch "Logan, can I ask you a question?"

"Ask away, you're obviously here wanting to talk, so talk."

She took a deep breath, and sighed "Did you ever have feelings for me?"

He leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms, not wanting to answer the question and give her any hopes, but did anyway "I thought I did at one time, but it was more of an infatuation. I always thought you were this beautiful girl, with a beautiful voice... but our relationship was not good, we fought constantly, and still do..." he smirked "But my feelings for you were never love, it was only lust..."

She looked away from him, and toward the water, thinking about their past, and knew he was right "Did you know, that while you were in a coma, I flew back and forth twice a week until you were kidnapped?"

"I wasn't kidnapped." he laughed "And yes, I was told you were there, by Bodhi... I still don't understand why you did that, I told you the night of the accident that there would never be an us, and that I looked at you more as a friend, or sister."

"I know, but I assumed that was you trying to push me away, that you did in fact have feelings for me, and didn't want to admit it." she sighed.

He folded his hands, and leaned forward "Brooklyn, I'm going to be straight up with you, and I want you to listen. I'm in love with Bodhi, I have strong, and deep feelings for her, feelings that I never felt with you. We would never work out, and I'm at a point in my life where I'm looking for my future, and I know I found it. It's not you, its Bodhi, she's my future."

She got quiet, breathed in heavy, and sighed. She knew they would never be together, and knew she couldn't force him to love her. She wanted someone to love her for her, not because they needed to feel like they had to. "I know, I see how you look at her."

"I'm sorry if I lead you on in some way, thinking there was a chance between us... and maybe I did do that, by sleeping with you... but that was six years ago, and why you're still on that night is beyond me. I was young, dumb, thinking about myself, and didn't care who I hurt, as long as I was only satisfying myself. I've grown up since then, and I wish you would too. I would love to see you move on, and find someone that will devote all their attention toward you, and make you priority number one. My priority, and number one is Bodhi."

"If I tell you something, will you promise not to get mad?"

He smirked, and lowered his head "If you're going to tell me you read the song I wrote, I already know..."

"You did? How?"

"Because, when we were in Tennessee, and got into that argument, I walked back to grab my notebook to tear the page out, it wasn't in the same spot where I placed it under the mattress, and it was also upside down... that song should have told you how I felt, and I couldn't understand why you kept on, even after seeing it with your own eyes. What I did to you back then was terrible, mean, and childish. It was a song of apology that I had planned on singing at our next destination, but was obviously never able to."

She smiled, and looked down at the notebook "Do me a favor, and throw it away... please. I'm sorry I got nosy and looked, and to be honest I was extremely pissed when I read it, I wanted to outright kill you." she giggled softly, and pulled her hair up into a ponytail, after the wind kept blowing her hair into her face. "I know the song wasn't finished, but it was good, and it showed me where I was at in your life. But somewhere in the back of my mind believes, that had you not met Bodhi, I think we could've made it work."

"I'm not so sure about that." he laughed "One of us would have ended up in prison for strangling the other, and the other would have been six feet under. And it would've been most likely me in prison."

She giggled, and shrugged her shoulders "I'm not so sure about that, but I guess."

He looked her in the eyes, smiled, and held out his hand "So, is this a truce?"

"Truce." she says, reaching for his hand, and shaking it.

"Good, because I was seriously trying to plot out an accidental death for you."

"YOU WERE?" she asked loudly, and with widened eyes.

"No." he chuckled "But I was ready to talk to Grant, about replacing you..."

"Sorry."

They talked for another hour, until Logan started yawning. He felt good to finally get what he was feeling off his chest, and felt even better when their talk didn't turn out to be an argument. He stood up, and held his hand out to help her off the chair, and pulled her in for a hug "Thanks for the talk, and hopefully from now on, we can finally get along?"

"I hope so, but I'll admit, I may miss some of the arguments, and the back and forth bickering." she said, pulling away from him. "It was fun " she giggled.

"Oh, I'm sure there may still be arguments between us, but it'll be a different type of fight... but I'm tired and going to bed, have a good night."

He picked up his notebook, opened the patio door and walked back into the room. Surprised to see Bodhi sitting up, and awake. "What are you doing awake?" he asked quietly.

"I woke up, saw that you weren't in bed, and thought you may have been back at the bar, but then I heard voices outside, and realized you were talking to Brooklyn, and couldn't fall back asleep."

"I'm sorry." He felt bad, and sat down next to her, pulling her into his arms.

"Don't be sorry, from what I heard, it was a much-needed talk between the two of you. I'm glad you two worked things out, and hopefully now she'll leave me alone."

He kissed the top of her head and smiled "Yes, I think we finally got things straightened out. She knows where I stand, and knows who won my heart."

******

Bodhi was in a good mood; she had a week that went better than what she had expected. Brooklyn was finally talking to her in a normal way, and was even asking for her opinions on outfits to wear during the concerts.

Logan was in a good mood as well, since his talk with Brooklyn, there was no arguing and no bickering amongst the two, and was happy to see Brooklyn finally giving Bodhi a chance.

It was Halloween night, and for their concert they all decided to dress up. The four originals decided to dress up as Kiss, with Logan being Gene Simmons. Kurt being the outsider, decided to dress up as Ozzy Osbourne, with Brooklyn dressing up as Lita Ford.

Bodhi had no clue the band was dressing up for the concert, and when they all walked out of their dressing rooms in their costumes, she spit out the water that she had just taken a drink off, and widened her eyes "Oh my! Look at all of you!" she laughed.

Logan walked up to her covering his mouth, and when he stopped in front of her, he exposed the long tongue he had put into his mouth while walking up to her "Kiss me baby..." She couldn't help but laugh, and shake her head at him.

He chuckled, and moved the tongue up and down, then pulled it out of his mouth to speak "You would love it if I had a tongue like this, wouldn't you? I could do some magical wonders with it" he says, reaching his hand out, and tickling her pussy.

"Logan!" she giggled, pushing his hand away, and turning a different shade of red. He chuckled, leaned forward and gave her a kiss, trying not to smear all the makeup he had put on his face.

He walked over to the guys, and had them all pose for her "What do you think?" Logan asked.

"You all look good, wish I had known you were dressing up; I would have dressed up also." she said, feeling left out.

Logan reached out his hand "Come with me... I have something for you to wear." She walked over to him and placed her hand in his. "I bought you something, hope you'll like it."

"What did you buy?"

"I bought multiple costumes for you to choose, I wanted it to be a surprise, and wasn't sure who or what you would like to be... so, I bought Lady Gaga, Madonna's 80's punk look, a lady's Elvis costume and one of my absolute favorite one is, the wet look body suit with fishnet tights, and knee high boots." he says, grinning ear to ear, hoping she picks the wet suit costume.

She looked at all the costumes, tried each of them on, and went with the one he was hoping she would wear, and the one he had his tongue hanging out when she showed him what it looked like on.

She walked over to him, and wrapped her arm around his waist "This one matches with your costume better, I feel like I'm one of you." she smiled.

"You are one of us." he tells her, making her smile, and a warm feeling run through her.

He pulled her to him, crossed his fingers behind her, and grinned "I'm glad you picked this outfit, I was hoping you would like to make an appearance on stage while we sing one of the songs tonight."

"Oh yea? What song?"

"Lick it up." he says, smiling even wider.

"What would I be doing?"

"Well, I'll help you onto the stage, and you'll be able to stand, dance, smile, or whatever you'd like to do... just go with whatever I do." he winked.

Bodhi had a feeling he was up to no good, but agreed to go on stage with him anyway. With what she was wearing for a costume, she was feeling a little uncomfortable to be standing around a bunch of other people who were dressed up for Halloween, and found Grant to see where she could sit or stand where she wouldn't be bothered.

Bodhi ended up standing at the corner of the stage, and near the wall where nobody could come up from behind, and shock or scare her. Throughout the night she noticed eyes glued to her, and couldn't wait for Logan to have her come on stage.

Grant saw Logan's cue, and nudged Bodhi "You'll be going on stage after this song."

"Good, those guys standing right over there haven't taken their eyes off me all night." she says, pointing.

Grant turned and looked at the guys, then turned back toward her "Don't worry, they won't be an issue."

Bodhi felt relieved when she saw Logan coming over to her, and smiled. He walked down the stage, and smiled when the fans near Bodhi began to scream, thinking he was walking over to them. He picked up Bodhi, placed her over his shoulder, walked her back on stage and set her down as the band began playing the music.

Logan kissed her on the lips and began singing...

Don't want to wait 'til you know me better
Let's just be glad for the time together
Life's such a treat and it's time you taste it
There ain't a reason on earth to waste it
It ain't a crime to be good to yourself

His hands roamed the sides of her body, and kneeled as he placed his Gene Simmons tongue in his mouth, while the band sang the chorus. Her eyes widened when he teased her with the tongue, and covered her mouth "Oh my Lord Logan!" she says laughing.

Lick it up, lick it up, ooh yeah it's only right now
Lick it up, lick it up, ooh yeah
Lick it up, lick it up, ooh yeah, come on, come on
Lick it up, lick it up, ooh uh

Bodhi decided to tease him right back, and grinded her hips around while he teased her with his costume tongue. He stood up, pulled her in for a kiss, and began singing again...

Don't need to wait for an invitation
You gotta live like you're on vacation
There's something sweet you can't buy with money lick it up, lick it up
It's all you need, so believe me honey
It ain't a crime to be good to yourself

After the song was over, she walked over by Rick, and stood behind to finish watching the concert. She couldn't help but laugh as she kept thinking about Logan and what he was doing with the tongue, and couldn't believe he did something like that in front of everyone.

At the end of the finale, Logan had Bodhi come over to him, and thanked her in front of their fans for being a good sport, and apologized if she was embarrassed by it.

She grabbed the mic from his hand, and smiled as she spoke "A week ago he told me I was in trouble, tonight he teased me in front of a million people, or, however many are here tonight. And what I have to say to that is, you better stick to your word, quit teasing, and get busy on showing me how you can work that tongue of yours."

🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
Hope you enjoyed the chapter!!
