Chapter 12- Oops...
Bodhi woke up, looked at Logan and smiled. She was feeling revived, and couldn't believe how he maneuvered his tongue the way he did. She thought it was electrifying, satisfying, hot, and oh so pleasurable that the tingling sensations she was feeling, had her wanting to scream so loud, that their neighbors from miles away would hear her. The more she thought about him, how he used his words, the looks he would give her, his touches, his lips against hers, had her thinking about how she was falling for someone who had women out there dreaming of being with him, wanting him to be in their beds, and hoping to be the next Mrs. Logan Meyer.
She breathed in deep, and closed her eyes, smiling that she knew she had him. She may have not known who he was before, but remembered her friends always talking about him, how they wouldn't mind if they had a one-night stand with him, and how happy they would be if he were to ever acknowledge them.
She felt a little guilty, knowing Chloe was the one who talked about him the most, and how she always dreamed of him being in her bed. She always said she knew it would never happen, but now for her to be the one making love to him, she felt like she was betraying her, killing her dreams. Even though she was enjoying it, it was something she never thought would ever happen, and felt she needed to apologize to her.
Looking at him, and watching him sleep, was more relaxing to her knowing he was no longer in a coma, and knew if she were to kiss his lips, he would wake up instantly. She wanted to be the one he woke up to every morning, and give her the lustful looks he always does. She pushed herself up, and pressed her lips against his.
His arms quickly wrapped around her, deepened the kiss, and felt himself rise for the occasion. "I knew you couldn't resist me." he smiled.
"I was just testing to see how quick you would open your eyes for me."
He smiled, and tilted his head to the side "You should know me by now, that I'll always open my eyes for you." He pulled her in for a kiss, and pulled her onto him.
He was hard as a rock, and she was tingling below. With his lips still locked to hers, he rolled her over, laid on top of her, and had just thrusted himself into her, when there was a knock at the door. "Are you fucking kidding me?" he whispered, upset.
"Yea!" she called out. She looked at him, frowned, and sighed "I'm sorry..."
"Where's the coffee at?" Samantha asked. She turned around, looked at Darla, and giggled "I think I interrupted them." she whispered loudly.
"I'll be right out." she groaned.
Samantha walked over to the girls, still giggling. "I think I busted up whatever they were doing."
"Why?" Chloe asked "Is he in there with her?"
"I'm assuming so." she says, shrugging her shoulders "After I knocked, I heard a loud groan, and heard a fuck in the sentence." giggling "Sounded like his voice."
Chloe pouted and walked away, finding a chair at the breakfast bar. She placed her face in her hands and groaned "My life is ruined, that was supposed to be my husband."
Samantha and Darla laughed "It was a dream..." Darla said, sitting next to her. "Who knows, maybe someone better will come along. We all know this was just pure luck with her meeting him, being his nurse, and now... well... maybe lovers now." she smiled "I told you last night, be happy for her."
"I am happy, I just wished it was me." She lifted her head, and smirked "Yeah, yeah, I'm jealous. But I'm glad he chose her, and not some skank from a concert."
Bodhi walked into the kitchen, opened the cupboard and grabbed the coffee from the top shelf. She was irritated that they got interrupted, and didn't feel like looking at them. She got the coffee ready, and started walking out of the kitchen. The girls looked at each other, and didn't know what to say. "Sorry Bodhi, I didn't realize he was in the room with you... I honestly didn't mean to disturb you two." Samantha said, feeling bad.
"It's alright." she said, walking away, and back into the bedroom. She walked in, over to Logan while he was getting dressed. She wrapped her arms around him and started kissing his back "Sorry, we'll just have to finish this another time."
He turned around, cupped the sides of her face and gave her a kiss. "It's all good, we needed to get up anyway. I forgot they were even here, to be honest."
He opened her robe, looked at her breasts, and licked around each of her nipples, sucked, then kneeled, getting a little lick in before standing back up.
The moment his tongue hit her clit, she grabbed a fistful of his hair, and pressed his head harder against her. Her head tilted back, and tightened her lips, not wanting a sound to escape. Her stomach, went wild, and knees got weak, that she didn't want him to stop, and was disappointed when he did stop, and stood up with a grin on his face.
"There... just a little teaser, and appetizer before breakfast." he chuckled, and walked away, leaving her standing there with a pouty look on her face.
She was now pissed at her friends, and more pissed that they were there, and couldn't wait until they left. She needed to cool off and headed for the shower. While in the shower, it hit her that they never used any protection the few times they had sex, and her stomach dropped Shit... she muttered under her breath.
She quickly finished showering, got dressed, and walked into the living room, frantically looking for her car keys.
"Hey you, breakfast is done." Logan said, as he walked out of the kitchen, looking at her strangely when she was looking everywhere, with a scared look on her face. "What are you looking for?" he asked, when she didn't respond to him.
"My keys... have you seen them anywhere?"
"Are these them?" Darla asked, showing her, as she dangled them from her finger.
Bodhi looked up, and sprinted over to her, snagging them out of her hand. "Yes, thank you... I'll be back."
She ran out the door, quickly hopped in her car, and peeled out of the driveway. Darla looked at Logan furrowing her eyebrows "What the hell was that all about?"
Logan shrugged his shoulders, confused himself, and scratched his head wondering why she looked freaked out "I have no clue, she was fine a half hour ago."
Bodhi drove around, looking for a drug store. She was in a panic, and couldn't believe she was so careless to do anything without protection. She pulled into a parking lot and loaded her maps onto her phone, looking for the nearest store. She looked at the map, and saw she was seconds away from one, and set her phone down. She looked around, and saw it was just down the street, and quickly drove over there.
She walked the aisles and finally came across the birth control area. Never having to worry about buying condoms before, she wasn't sure what to grab, and grabbed a bunch of different condoms, throwing them into the cart, and then grabbed a few boxes of pregnancy tests.
She knew it was too soon to use them, but wanted to have them handy for the just in case. "Are you finding everything OK?" a worker stopped to ask.
"Yes, thank you." she said quick, not wanting to look at the store clerk. She continued looking at the shelves and wondered if there was anything else she needed to grab while she was there.
On her way back to the cabin, she kept hoping, and praying, she wasn't pregnant. She moaned at the thought she had to wait at least a month before taking a test, and was trying to think of what her cycle was, when her last period was, and if she was in that red zone of ovulation.
When she got back, she grabbed the bag off the passenger seat, and quickly walked inside, ignoring everyone as she walked in, and quickly to the bedroom. Logan followed her into the room, and shut the door behind him. "What the hell is going on?"
"Nothing." she retorted.
He walked over to her, placed his hands on her shoulders and tried getting her to relax, by massaging her shoulders. "Somethings wrong, you run out of here in a panic, you don't say anything when you come back, and now you bite my head off... did I do something wrong?"
"No, I'll talk to you later about it."
"No... we'll talk right now... what's going on?" he begged, thinking it was him, and turned her around.
She looked him in the eyes, took a deep breath and looked away "I remembered something while I was in the shower." she said quietly.
"What?"
"Protection." she whispered "We never have used any protection, and it freaked me out. So, I went to the store and bought a bunch of stuff."
He took a hard swallow, and pulled her in for a hug, hugging her tight as he rubbed her back. He rested his chin on the top of her head, and breathed in deep. "Well... it is what it is. I never even thought about it, and I should have."
"As should I..." she says, stopping him from talking. "I knew better... we were so caught up in the moment... moments... that I didn't even think about it."
She squeezed him tighter, explained what she bought, showed him what was in the bag, and sat down on the bed. "Now I have to wait a month to see. God, I hope we didn't do anything that would ruin anything." She covered her face with her hands, leaned backward onto the bed, and stared at the ceiling.
He sat down on the bed next to her, and leaned over to her "It's not the end of the world, we're grown adults and we'll figure it out. Let's not jump the gun, and assume anything. From now on, if we do anything, we'll make sure to use protection, plain and simple." He kissed her on the lips, sat up, and grabbed her hand, pulling her up. "Come on, let's have fun, and enjoy the day."
Later that night, everyone was feeling like going out, and wanting to have some drinks. They knew they had to be careful about anyone spotting Logan, so he put on a hat, hoping to disguise himself.
Landon wanted everyone to have fun, and knew Bodhi and Logan could use a change of scenery away from the cabin, and figured he would drive, be the sober cab, and to make sure nothing would go wrong with them being out and about.
They headed out, and found a bar not too far away from the cabin. While walking towards the bar, Logan reached for Bodhi's hand, pulled her in for a kiss, and walked her inside. The moment they walked inside, heads turned their way, and the way the patrons looked at them they knew they weren't from around there.
Darla, being the happy, fun girl, she is, smiled, and waved at them "Hi all! We're just here to have fun, and to party with you all!"
Bodhi turned to Logan, and leaned into his ear "She's my wild friend, she'll be the life of the party, and will make sure nobody thinks different of us."
Logan looked around, and saw an empty table for them to sit, and walked her over to the table, pulling a chair out for her. "What would you like to drink?"
"Do you think it's a good idea to talk to a sober bartender, maybe he'll recognize you." she said quietly.
He pulled up a chair, sat down, and looked at what kind of people were inside the bar, ages ranged from young to old, and could tell it was just your average out in the sticks kind of bar. "Maybe I'll wait..."
"Looks like they're bringing us drinks anyway." Bodhi said, as she watched her friends with their hands full, carrying drinks and shots.
Chloe smiled and set all the shots down in the center of the table and looked at Logan "I heard you were a Fireball guy, so that's what we got." she says, with a smile.
"I am, thank you." He reached for a couple shots, slid one over to Bodhi and waited for them to all get situated, before drinking his.
"We weren't sure what you liked to drink besides Fireball, so we got you a beer for now." Darla said, handing him a bottle of beer.
"This will work... thank you." He picked up the bottle of beer, and took a big sip. He hadn't had any alcohol since the night of the accident, and knew the beer might slide down his throat a little too easy, in which it did, and drank the entire bottle.
"Wow Logan, were you thirsty?" Bodhi asked shocked.
He smiled "Damn right I was, that tasted damn good." he says, while belching "Excuse me." he chuckled.
"I suppose... you haven't had anything to drink in a while... in that case, let's do a shot." Bodhi says lifting her shot.
They toasted, slammed their shots and began their night. Landon kept an eye on the people in the bar, making sure nobody was eyeing Logan, and saw a female walk over to the corner of the dance floor, and began setting up for something. Once he realized what she was doing, he pointed to the girl and smiled "Looks like it's karaoke night."
Logan whipped his head around, and felt excited. Excellent... he thought. He knew right then he would put his name in when it was time, and wanted to be able to belt his voice out, and see if he could still sing.
He turned back around, looked at Bodhi and smiled "Perfect, now I can sing you a song."
She smiled, and felt like melting right there. "What are you going to sing to me?"
"You'll see."
Darla wasn't sure if that was a good idea, thinking someone might recognize him, or his voice, and kicked Bodhi's shin, giving her a surprised look when Bodhi cried out in pain, as she looked at her "Owe! What the hell was that for?"
She leaned across the table, and mentioned to her that it wasn't a good idea for him to sing. Logan leaned across the table, and smiled "Chill out, I won't be singing anything you all know me to sing, it'll be something different, more my style, and it'll shock you. Trust me, they'll never know."
While they waited for karaoke to start, they drank a couple more drinks, and did a couple more shots, the girls planned on going up and doing a group song, and while they were looking through the book deciding on what to sing, Logan walked up to the gal, put his name in as Heart Slayer and wrote down the song Making Memories of Us.
He walked back to the table with a smile, and placed his hand on Bodhi's thigh. He leaned into her ear and whispered "The song that I'm about to sing, reminds me of us, and I want you to know this song is for you."
He wrapped his arm around her, and pulled her in for a kiss, leaving her breathless when he heard his name being called.
"Heart Slayer?" Darla laughed, nearly choking on her drink. Logan looked at her, and winked as he stood up "Yep, that's me." he grinned.
Bodhi grabbed her drink and turned around, watching Logan walk over to the karaoke screen.
He grabbed a mic, grabbed the rim of his cap, adjusted it, and waited for the music to start. "This song is for you chickee... my love, my heart, my future bride." he says, smiling ear to ear.
I'm gonna be here for you baby
I'll be a man of my word
Speak the language in a voice that you have never heard
I wanna sleep with you forever
And I wanna die in your arms
In a cabin by a meadow where the wild bees swarm
And I'm gonna love you like nobody loves you
And I'll earn your trust making memories of us....
Bodhi sat there in awe while listening, and watching him sing, and was so moved by his voice, that she was in tears. She thought he was singing so beautifully, and the song he chose was one of her most favorite songs. Not only was she moved by his singing, she was still in shock about his intro before the music started, and was surprised to hear what he said.
Bodhi's friends were shocked to hear him sing a Keith Urban song, they had no clue he could sing anything else other than rock, and were amazed hearing a different tune come out of him.
Bodhi stood up, and clapped when Logan finished the song, and walked towards him when he walked her way. He picked her up, spun her around, and planted a big kiss on her lips, then lowered her down, and leaned into her ear "I meant what I said, and hopefully someday, that'll come true."
He walked her back to the table, sat down and pulled her in between his legs, keeping his arms wrapped around her.
"Damn Heart Slayer, I didn't know you could sing a different genre! That was amazing!" Chloe said happily.
He smiled, kissed the side of Bodhi's neck and looked over at Chloe "Originally when I started my band, it was supposed to be country rock, mixed with a little blues. Then my agent had us singing what you're used to hearing us sing. Said it was the most requested genre all around the country, which it is. My plan was to start off like that, get our names out there, and to eventually switch to the music I wanted to sing. But we got so big, that the phones wouldn't stop ringing, and kept getting requests for us to be at their state fairs, county fairs, casinos, etcetera, that I never had the chance to break free from it."
"Do you write your own music?" Chloe asked, curiously.
He grinned, looked at Bodhi and took a deep breath before sighing "I do... I've written many songs. And have sung some of them at our concerts, and when I get back on tour, I'll be singing some of them. If only I could find my notebook that I had the night of the accident, it was filled with songs that I wrote, and songs I was hoping to sing."
Bodhi thought about the notebook, and remembered grabbing it the night they took him out of the hospital. "That notebook you're talking about, I thought that was Brooklyn's."
"No, why would it be hers?" he asked, spinning her around "Have you seen it?"
"Yes, I've seen it, she left it in the room after her last visit with you, I assumed it was hers."
Logan swallowed hard, hoping Brooklyn hadn't looked through it, and stuttered when he spoke "Where is it?"
"At the cabin with your guitar, why?" She saw fear in his eyes, and wondered why he looked like he was about to panic "Is there something in there you don't want me seeing?"
