Three can keep a secret, if two of them are dead.

"Daisy... child, wake up..." Mrs.Maraud gently shook her granddaughter awake.

"What is it, grandma?" the teen muttered sleepily, sitting up and rubbing her eyes.

"The man... the detective? He knows..."

Instantly alert, Daisy raised an eyebrow, expecting more.

"And I poisoned him," the lady added with a small smile.

Daisy smiled back at her, a sense of pride taking over. She leaned over and embraced the woman.

"And the body?" she questioned, after letting go.

"I didn't know what to do, child."

Daisy's blood boiled at the statement. But nevertheless, she contained her anger.

"Come on, granny! I've taught you the drill..."

"Basement? Again?"

Daisy furrowed her eyebrows, deep in thought.

"There's that teacher in there, huh?" she frowned.

The old woman nodded in response. "And many more... the place stinks," she replied disgustedly.

"Shall we just bury him, then?" she suggested, after a moment.

Daisy shook her head. "That's too much work."

They remained in silence for a short while. Even the smallest of the spiders that lived in the house shivered in anticipation. A chilly breeze seeped in out of no where.

Frustrated, the lady let out a groan. The teen took one glance at her anguished face.

"Grandma..." she called out softly.

"Yes..." Mrs.Maraud responded.

"I'll be right back," she said getting up off the bed.

The lady nodded. An indescribable expression flitted across her features.

Daisy got up and walked out, all too aware of the pair of eyes watching her constantly. Taking soft steps, she shut the door and walked towards the living room, the keels in her brain rapidly turning.

She could hear her grandmother contain an almost inaudible sniffle. Almost inaudible.
