         A year has passed since the harrowing night that forever altered the lives of a close-knit group of friends. It was supposed to be a weekend of laughter and adventure at an isolated mountain lodge, but a thoughtless prank turned into tragedy when sisters Evie and Lila vanished into the dark woods, never to be seen again. Their disappearance, swift and mysterious, left an open wound in the hearts of their friends, who were left to carry the weight of guilt, unanswered questions, and whispers of what really happened on that cold night.

            Now, on the one-year anniversary of that unspeakable loss, Noah—the older brother of the twins—extends an invitation to the group. He urges them to return to the same lodge perched on the mountain's jagged peak, claiming it's a chance to honor Evie and Lila's memory, to heal, and perhaps even to uncover the truth. Hesitant, yet bound by their shared grief, the friends agree to face the past, believing that closure might lie in the heart of the desolate, snow-covered wilderness. But they are wrong.

           From the moment they set foot on the mountain, something feels wrong. The air itself seems to hum with a tension that's impossible to shake, as if the mountain has been waiting for them. The lodge, once filled with warmth and camaraderie, is now a silent sentinel overlooking the abyss—its walls seem to whisper, its shadows twist unnaturally in the flickering light of the hearth. And then, the strange occurrences begin.

            At first, it's subtle—fleeting glimpses of something moving in the periphery, a door creaking open on its own, whispered voices that vanish as quickly as they arrive. But as night falls, the terrors grow undeniable. A masked figure prowls the snowbound forest, watching their every move. Footsteps echo where no one should be walking. And something far older and darker than mere human malice seems to be rising from the depths of the mountain, stirring the snow and stone to life, as though the earth itself remembers the blood spilled here.

            With each passing hour, the group's fragile unity begins to crack under the weight of paranoia and fear. Old wounds resurface, unspoken betrayals bubble to the surface, and the sins of the past, long buried, are dragged back into the light. And as their numbers dwindle, the friends come to a horrifying realization: the mountain does not forgive. It remembers.

           Haunted by the ghosts of Evie and Lila and hunted by forces beyond their understanding, they must survive the night, battling not only the lurking dangers in the dark but also the twisted legacy of the land itself. The lines between nightmare and reality blur, as strange symbols appear in the snow and the howling wind seems to carry the voices of the lost.

          As dawn approaches, they are forced to confront the truth about what really happened a year ago, a truth far more terrible than any of them could have imagined. In the end, the mountain may demand its due—and the night may not be the only thing they have to survive.

           For on this mountain, secrets do not stay buried. And neither do the dead.
