Shadow woke up feeling nauseous as she rushed for the bathroom and began throwing up, she felt Eclipse stroking her back as she heaved inside the bucket continuously until she stopped letting it out, she touched her forehead to sense for a temperature rise but she didn't feel any temperature rise.

Eclipse gave her something and she went back into the bathroom as he went down to his kitchen to prepare some food for him and his beautiful wife. The minute he began to cook, she came down with a look on her face.

"My love, what is the matter?" He asked as she held up a pregnancy test to him as he held it in his palm and saw what was on it. It was positive.

"I'm pregnant." She said in between the tears of joy and her mood swings as he hugged her for the happy news and planned out some stuff for the baby, and some protection in case if Mephiles dares to strike at them.

"B-But wait, how will I give birth? You said that your kind would lay eggs and--" She was silenced by a kiss given to her on the lips as she kissed back to him until he pulled away from her and held her close to his body as she rested her head on his chest.

"Some may lay eggs, others birth like humans do." He said as he petted her quills which earned purrs from Shadow as she ate some breakfast and went out to tell her friends the news as a pair of green eyes watched her from the distance before disappearing into the shadows.

Shadow walked up to the familiar workshop of the twin-tailed kit as she opened the door to see Tails working on something until she tapped his shoulder, which startled the poor kit which caused him to drop the wrench on the ground as he turned around to see Shadow behind him and gave her a huge hug.

"Tails, can you call everyone over? There's something I need to say." Tails nodded before picking up the phone to call everyone over as Shadow sat on the couch as she read a book she found and drink some tea.

Before she could read the book, a blue blur came rushing in which startled her as she turned to see Sonic holding Amy in his arms, next came Knuckles and Rouge along with the Chaotix and Creams and Vanilla along with Silver and Blaze. Everyone wanted to know what Shadow wanted to talk about as she took a deep breath and let it out.

"Mephiles came before Eclipse and I were married." Everyone was shocked to know that the demon was back as Silver clenched his fists and growled at the mention of the demon as Blaze held his hand in order to calm him down.

"But as you all know...Eclipse and I are expecting." She said as she placed her hand on her belly. All of the girls in the room all gasped and then squealed, knowing what she meant.

"OMG! Shadow, are you pregnant?!" Amy squealed as her eyes sparkled and Shadow nodded her head and was overwhelmed by the sound of the girls squealing loudly and hugging her.

Sonic, on the other hand, gave a soft smile to his friend as Knuckles smiled and patted her back, Silver hugged her as she hugged back and rubbed her belly.

Suddenly in a split second, Knuckles felt a dark presence in the room as he took a battle stance along with the others and Amy was with Shadow who pulled out a spare dagger in her boot until the sound of the familiar chilling dark laughter made her blood run cold.

"Well, I never expected for you to be expecting my dear."

A shadow moved behind her and held her down by black tendrils as a form came out of the inky shadow and held her close to him as he traced a claw down her thigh. Silver, on the other hand, was pissed off at the sight of the demon that had once tricked him into almost killing Sonic and Shadow.

"You!" He shouted at the shadow demon holding Shadow in his arms which caused the demon to chuckle at the silver hedgehog whose eyes were glowing with anger as Shadow struggles to get out of the demon's grip as the familiar hissing sound from Eclipse came and struck at Mephiles.

"I warned you once! Stay away from my wife!" He hissed and held Shadow in his arms and the others were in front of the couple. Mephiles laughed and vanished in the shadows, Shadow hugged Eclipse as he hugged her back and comforted her before he pressed his lips to her.

"Well, I hope that you make great parents." Knuckles said as Eclipse managed a small smile to the crimson guardian as they went back into their rooms to sleep.

Shadow dreamed about her baby that night.

Shadow picked up her baby and saw the beautiful blue eyes it had as it wrapped its yellow tail around her wrist and the hedgehog ears twitched as it sneezed.

A symbol was on the blanket, a circle on top of a long vertical line and a short horizontal going through it as she held her baby close to her.

"You're name shall be—"

Soon Shadow woke up and rubbed her belly to let the baby know that she's there for it before going to bed and Eclipse wrapped his tail around her waist and held her in his arms.
