(What Shadow is wearing.)

Shadow was outside in the garden looking up at the alien birds and how they chirped so differently along with the alien flowers upon her.

The different fragrances were soft and soothing to her, like the rose she had in her room when she woke up to find it there.

She closed her eyes and began singing a song for herself not ever noticing that someone was listening to her sing.

When she finished singing, she felt two hands cover her eyes, she thought that it was Eclipse behind her...

But it wasn't...

"Guess who?"

That voice sent shivers up her spine as she rushed away from the familiar voice and saw who it was.

Mephiles the Dark.

He was standing right before her smiling as he picked a rose from the bush and inhaled its fragrance.

"But...how did..." she stammered to ask the demon male look-alike of her. He was getting closer to Shadow as she backed up away from him which only made him walk closer to her.

He chuckled as he backed her up into a wall and caressed her cheek. She wanted to bite his hand but she couldn't! Why couldn't she fight back?!

She looked to see the black tendrils wrapped around her legs and arms as she struggled within them trying to get out of the bonds which only made the demon laugh even more at her attempts.

"How did I escape the Scepter of Darkness? Simple. You left a small crack within the glass and I slipped out as easy as it could be." He said as he gently held her cheeks and nearly touching hers, she tried to pull back but her body was numb and couldn't respond to her at all.

His lips almost touching hers...

Until...

"Step away from her!"

The tendrils loosened their grip on Shadow as Eclipse held her in his arms and snarled at the demon who growled back at the alien.

"Did he hurt you?" He softly asked as Shadow shook her head.

For once she was glad that he was there, if he wasn't, she would've been hurt or worse, raped.

Mephiles growled at the sight of the alien holding Shadow.

"You may have won this time Eclipse, but I will claim her any time possible." He vanished in purple smoke as Shadow had cried because she felt weak event though she was the ultimate life form but Eclipse held her close and she wiped away her tears and kissed her forehead.

"Hey, it's not your fault...it's mine." Eclipse softly said as Shadow gently hugged him back.

She kissed him.

He kissed back as he gently held her cheek and slipped his tongue in with hers.

They both separate with a line of saliva and panting for air as they stared into each other's eyes and blushed.

She rested her head on his chest and smiled.

"Thank you, for saving me Eclipse." She softly said as he smiled at her.

"Your welcome, my love." He purred out as they went inside and laid together in bed snuggling, Shadow purred at Eclipse as he stroke her quills.

"Sweet Dreams, my little Dark Sun."

He kissed her forehead and turned out the lights and went to sleep with her as well.
