Shadow awoke and noticed the rose upon her drawer as she walked over and inhaled its scent, it was sweet but not too sweet, it was soothing.

Her phone buzzed as she walked over to it and picked it up.

It was her Commander.

"Sir? What's the situation?"

"There appears to be some kind of weird creature attacking the city. Go down and destroy it."

Shadow nodded her head and hung up the phone as she dressed in her uniform as she dashed out the door. As soon as she got to downtown Rouge, and E-Omega 123 were already there while she strolled up to her team.

"Rouge, have any idea what's going on?" She questioned her friend as Rouge told her the situation, Eclipse observed Shadow from above admiring the way she leads her team.

Powerful leadership from his queen should be perfect for his army as he shifted within the shadows as he heard her direct her team to split up to find the creature furthermore call if it strikes.

Shadow sought carefully throughout the empty town but found nothing at all, or so she assumed. Something moved fast within the shadows causing the trash cans to fall over, she pulled out her gun and got ready for any attacks.

"Hey, Shadow."

"Gah!" Shadow jumped as soon as she heard Sonic's voice behind her.

Shadow turned around to see the cobalt hero smiling as the began lecturing him for a while until Sonic grabbed her and bounced away from an incoming blast at him.

"Unhand my queen at once." The two looked up to notice Eclipse over them with his hand directing at Sonic and only Sonic.

"Who are you?!" Shadow shouted out her question at the alien only for him to smile at the female ebony hedgehog.

"I am Eclipse my darling, and you are going to be my queen." He said with a bow which caused her to aim her gun at him.

"Sonic," She called out to the blue blur as he glanced to her.

"Try to catch his attention while I'll get a clear shot." Sonic agreed at her plan as he ran to the alien and threw some punches while Shadow was pointing her gun at the alien.

Eclipse stood behind Shadow as he worked his mental abilities to knock her out as she slipped back as she was seized by Eclipse who carried her bridal style.

"Thank you Sonic for bringing me, my future queen." Eclipse teleported back to his ship as Sonic jumped to grab him but was too late.

"Sh...Shadow..."

Tears formed in his eyes as he struck the ground forming a small hole.

"SHADOW!!"
