Elizabeth: "Am I..."

Elizabeth reappears in the alley, wearing her tunic.

Elizabeth: "... what just happened to me?"

The chain is attached to her side.

Elizabeth: "The chain?"

No commotion about the guards chasing after Elizabeth has faded away.

Elizabeth: "(tearing up) I 'm finally free."

Elizabeth falls to her knees, crying tears of joy.

Elizabeth: "(crying) Finally..."

She wipes away her tears.

Elizabeth: "(calming down) Sun. Moon, and Star..."

She looks at her chain.

Elizabeth: "... why me?"

She stands back up.

Elizabeth: "I'd better find someplace to rest, but..."

She slinks deeper into the alley.

Elizabeth: "... no one would help someone like me."

People are heard laughing in the streets.

One hour later...

Elizabeth: "Wh-What?"

Elizabeth walk past dozens of sick, homeless, and starved people of all ages as she makes a turn at the end of the alley.

Elizabeth: "(horrified) What's the world coming to?"

She notices an area by some step leading up at the end where she could rest.

Elizabeth: "I have no choice."

She walks over and sits down on the steps.

Elizabeth: "My eyelids feel heavy..."

Elizabeth falls asleep against the wall as the sun sets.

Several hours later...

???: "The Star always dangles in the sky."

A loud explosion jumps Elizabeth back into reality.

Elizabeth: "(panicking) What just happened?!"

Citizens: "W-Wyverns!"

Elizabeth: "Wyverns?!"

Elizabeth jolts up, only for dozens of poor to send her crashing back into the ground.

Elizabeth: "H-Hey!"

She tries to get up and push someone out of the way, but her past won't let her.

Elizabeth: "I'll just wait."

All of the poor get past her, but it's already been too long.

Elizabeth: "O-Ok-"

Elizabeth has a sharp pain in her heart.

Elizabeth: "(in pain) What the?!"

She shakes it of just in time to avoid a crumbling building.

Elizabeth: "I-I have to go!"

She hurries towards the town square.

Half hour later...

Soldier: "We can't get anyone else inside!"

The shelter is packed just before Elizabeth can arrive in time.

Elizabeth: "No..."

Elizabeth is stuck outside with the Wyverns as they stare at her.

???: "The one born of the Star."

Elizabeth realizes that the Wyverns are speaking to her.

Elizabeth: "The Star..."

A Wyvern pins Elizabeth to the ground from behind with it's hind claws.

Elizabeth: "(struggling) Get off me!"

Wyverns: "Without one, the cycle can finally end."

Another Wyvern begins to prepare to crush Elizabeth's head.

Elizabeth: "(struggling) No!"

The Wyvern stops just before crushing her head.

Elizabeth: "H-Huh?"

The man's voice plays in her head as the pain courses through her body.

Man: "Stars are always twinkling in the sky."

Elizabeth: "(in pain) What?"

Wyvern scales begin growing out of Elizabeth's neck as her teeth begin to grow sharp.

Wyvern: "It's always pointless to kill them before they awaken."

The scales cover her right cheek and reach out just past her sleeves.

Elizabeth: "(darkly) Get off me."

The scales form around her left wrist.

Elizabeth: "(darkly) I said..."

The scales cover her stomach and back, then also her right elbow.

Elizabeth: "GET OFF!!!"

Elizabeth pushes herself up and knocking the Wyvern to the ground.

Man: "How bright is your Star?"

Elizabeth: "Enough."

Elizabeth looks towards the Wyverns.

Elizabeth: "I'm going to end this."

Elizabeth grabs the knocked over Wyvern by the tail before sending it flying out of the stratosphere.

Wyverns: "(understanding) Escape is pointless."

Elizabeth is no longer where she was standing before.

Elizabeth: "Sounds about right."

Elizabeth is above the Wyverns.

Wyverns: "The speed is the Star."

Elizabeth begins to unleash a flurry of punches as she descends, pummeling the Wyverns into a pulp.

Elizabeth: "You won't hurt anyone else ever again."

She begins moving lightning fast midair and attacking from different angles simultaneously.

Wyverns: "(in pain) But he's too late."

Wyvern blood begins to spill onto the ground.

Elizabeth: "He?"

All Wyverns drop dead by the final blow.

Elizabeth: "Guess it was overkill."

She lands on the ground as the scales retract and her teeth return to normal.

Elizabeth: "(drowsy) But what were they talking abou-"

Elizabeth falls to the ground, passing out upon contact...
