Nicholas: "Did that just happen?"

Nicholas stands in the town square in his tunic.

Nicholas: "Guess it actually did..."

The Moon chain is attached to his side.

Nicholas: "Just what the hell did I get sucked into?"

The sun is beginning to set.

Nicholas: "Is my stuff-"

His stuff is on the ground to his right.

Nicholas: "(relieved) Oh thank god."

He picks the pouch up.

Nicholas: "I'll just go home."

Nicholas walks away.

Twenty minutes later...

Nicholas: "(sighing) I wish I could say I'm home."

Nicholas walks up to an empty corner in an alley as the moon now dangles in the sky.

Nicholas: "I've only got 13 Prisms. That's barely enough for a pound of apples."

Nicholas sits in the corner, drifting into the land of dreams.

Nicholas: "(sleepy) At least I have some new clothes..."

Nicholas falls asleep...

Several hours later...

???: "The Moon's presence lingers here."

Nicholas hears a strange voice in his sleep, causing him to wake up.

Nicholas: "(drowsy) Someone creeping in my-"

A loud crash startles Nicholas back in gear.

Nicholas: "(startled) What the hell was that?!"

People are beginning to scream, drunken men and young children running across the alley's entrance.

Children: "W-Wyverns!"

Nicholas jumps up.

Nicholas: "I'd say that was the sound!"

Wyvern cries split Nicholas's eardrums, dazing him for a moment and his heart has a sharp pain of a moment.

Nicholas: "(shaking it off, in pain) I'd better hurry to the shelter!"

Nicholas gets mixed into the crowd.

Ten minutes later...

Soldiers: "That's nearly everyone."

Nicholas is shoved to the back of the line as the door begins to close.

Nicholas: "(relieved) Thank god I'm going to live."

The Wyverns fly above the entrance as Nicholas is about to enter upon the final moment of the doors closing.

Nicholas: "Guess I get to-"

Nicholas's legs lock up just before he's about to enter, with the doors closing in the process.

Nicholas: "M-My legs!"

Nicholas is locked outside, with the six Wyverns examining him.

???: "The one born of the Moon..."

Nicholas: "(panicking) Dammit!"

Nicholas fearfully turns around, looking at the iron gazes of the Wyverns.

Nicholas: "Those voices are... you."

Wyverns: "Only one..."

Nicholas: "That really wasn't a hallucination..."

The man's voice echoes in Nicholas's mind.

Man: "Let your seal glisten like the Moon!"

The pain envelops Nicholas's body.

Nicholas: "(in pain) I feel like I'm being mauled to death!"

The Wyverns knew it was too late from the start.

Wyverns: "Then we must let Eclipse awaken."

Wyvern scales grow out of Nicholas's neck.

Nicholas: "What is-"

Man: "Fight for the lives of Teria!"

The scales cover Nicholas's left eye, go down to his left elbow, and on his right elbow. His legs are also covered in scales and now has talons, but they aren't visible.

Nicholas: "The... lives."

The Wyverns take to the skies.

Wyverns: "What is this Moon planning?"

Nicholas leaps into the air on their level.

Nicholas: "I'd say it's kicking your asses."

Nicholas front flips and sends a Wyvern crashing into the ground, the kick alone killing it.

Wyverns: "O-One hit?"

Nicholas lands on the head of another Wyvern.

Nicholas: "Talk about a rush!"

Nicholas leaps off the Wyvern and sends it down, joining it's fallen ally in the grave.

Nicholas: "So, anyone volunteering?"

The Wyverns try to get to the ground before Nicholas can finish them.

Nicholas: "No one? well guess it's all in one."

Nicholas rockets to the ground, shattering the chest area of a Wyvern.

Wyverns: "It's only once."

Nicholas pushes himself off and grabs another Wyvern's tail, swinging it around and smashing it into the others and them into the ground as well.

Wyverns: "(weakly) It's only the beginning."

Nicholas throws the last one into the ground and kills all of the Wyverns in one attack as he makes contact with the ground.

Nicholas: "That..."

The scales retract as Nicholas begins to fall.

Nicholas: "(drowsy) ... felt good."

Nicholas falls asleep, surrounded by Wyvern bodies...
