Meanwhile...

Elizabeth: "(sweating) Fighting just doesn't stop, doesn't it?"

Elizabeth has been dealing with her own share of struggles against the monsters of this world, but luckily, her travels have taken her to a fairly robust town around noon that day.

Elizabeth: "At least I'm finally able to catch a breather."

She casually strolls into town, with the people having the time of their lives.

Elizabeth: "Reminds of back when-"

Memories of thieves and murderers standing in front of her flashes in her eyes.

Elizabeth: "It's best not to remember."

She looks around town with a sense of glee that had faded from her eyes years ago, but that'll soon change.

One hour later...

Elizabeth manages to sell some animal hides to a pawn shop for a couple dozen Prisms.

Elizabeth: "Thank you!"

She walks out into the street as a young girl in a torn cloak bumps into her.

Elizabeth: "H-Hey!"

The girl runs off, leaving behind a mysterious, black box.

Elizabeth: "What did you-"

???: "There she is!"

Two guards grab Elizabeth by the arms as a crooked, old man takes the box.

Elizabeth: "(struggling) What did I do?!"

Old Man: "You attempted to steal my wife's ring you lowlife!"

Elizabeth: "(struggling) That wasn't me! A girl in a cloak stole it!"

Guard 1: "If nobility says you did it, then you did it!"

They start dragging Elizabeth away as the old man begins to smirk.

Elizabeth: "(struggling) This isn't-"

A memory of her playing happily in a vast garden echoes in her mind, forcing her to shut her mouth.

Guard 2: "That's what we thought!"

Forty minutes later...

Elizabeth is taken to a prison that's small on the surface, but...

Guard 2: "You'll be held here until you await trial."

They step down a stone staircase, leading them to a vast, underground prison.

Elizabeth: "(horrified) What the hell?"

Guard 1: "We'll keep you on one of the lowest floors.

Elizabeth is tossed into a bleak cell, with a guard locking the door on floor B14.

Elizabeth: "You don't know what kind of mistake you're making!"

Guards: "Tell it to the judge."

The guards walk away, leaving Elizabeth alone in the depths...
