CROW HILLS TOWN
SOMEWHERE IN INDUSTRIAL AREA
SATURDAY MORNING
1:30 AM
MR. LARKSON
Mr. Larkson was quiet until they were nearing the warehouse, that's when he decided to talk again, though Terrence noticed he was fidgeting and was constantly looking back.
"You know Ter, I feel like someone has been following us for a while now, but each time I look back, there's no one there. Would you call that paranoia?" Mr. Larkson asked him.
"I don't think that's paranoia, I would call that instinct. And instinct is always almost right, my ma told me that." Terrance answered him. Looking back too, to check if there was indeed someone following them but he didn't notice anyone.
"Say, why do you have to go to this warehouse today, can't you go there another day?" Mr. Larkson inquired.
"Today is the only day I could go, because of the party Sylvester is throwing, it gives me an opportunity to inform my parents I would go there." He answered.
"But you are not at the party now, what if your parents decide to check on you at the party and they can't find you?" Mr. Larkson asked, stopping to look at Terrence in mock surprise.
"I surely hope not, but if they did, I have Lao to back me up that I was at the party, also my sister was there with me before I left, so if by chance they show up at the party both of them would back me up that I was there." Terrence replied, looking at Mr. Larkson, Terrence noticed he usually played with a ring on his left hand whenever he was anxious or eager about something. Terrence wondered why Mr. Larkson would be anxious or eager.
"So this person you are meeting is a boy right?" Mr. Larkson asked stopping suddenly to looked at him.
"Yes, I just met him on a friend finder site. We have been talking for a while now but we are just meeting today, and am really eager to see him." Terrance answered, but he was bothered with the way Mr. Larkson was questioning him and Terrence feels his attitude was off.
"Terrance boy, and you claimed you don't like boys, why would you be meeting up with one if you don't like him?" Mr. Larkson asked again laughing at the end of his question.
"I don't like boys Mr. Larkson, I am straight like a pole. The person I am meeting is a friend who has a lot in common with me. The fact that I'm meeting him does not imply I'm dating him." Terrence answered Mr. Larkson taking a step back from him.
He was really bothered with Mr. Larkson's attitude but Terrence summed it up to one of his weird moments when he would become bipolar, Terrence shrugged his shoulder and decided to start walking again.
"I hear you, don't worry I won't tell anyone about your secret, your secret is safe with me. Also, I will wait for you outside the warehouse so I don't interrupt anything." Mr. Larkson said and continued walking alongside him.
Terrence could see the warehouse already, he was eager to get this over with, he felt as sweat started to form on his palm, a sure sign that he was anxious for the outcome of the meeting.
Walking faster which left Mr. Larkson behind, Terrence entered the warehouse. He could hear the distinct voice of Mr. Larkson saying that he would wait for him so they could both go back together and how it would be dangerous for Terrence to walk alone at night.
The first thing Terrence noticed was the light which was coming off left side of the warehouse, he noticed the source of the light was Small, he walked towards the light. Getting to the source of the light Terrence realized it was coming off from Sylvester's phone. Terrence was afraid to approached Sylvester, but then he noticed another presence, a boy older than both him and Sylvester, but his back was turned which made it difficult for Terrence to get a look at his face.
They were chatting quietly before Terrence got there, he couldn't hear what they were talking about but once he got there they stopped talking. Terrence felt awkward and he couldn't say anything at first, clearing his throat to get both of their attention, they turned towards him.
"Terrance was the one you've been talking about?" Sylvester said, looking confused for a moment.
"Yes he is the one, I told you he was really cool online and there are a lot of things we could gain from him. Besides, wouldn't it be cool since you know him, you could become real friends instead of pretending to be a different person." The other boy answered, though Terrance couldn't see his face clearly yet.
"It would be better to continue pretending than to become friends with this weirdo, you don't know him like I do." Sylvester replied heatedly, sounding alarmed.
"Maybe I don't, but I have been chatting with him online for the past three months and i'm telling you that he's cool." The person said again.
"JoJo you don't know what you are talking about, but wait I have an idea. It would be like a test actually." Sylvester said mischievously, moving close to the older boy.
"Wait, what test? What are you guys talking about? If you don't want to become my friend no problem, I will just leave quietly and forget I saw both of you, besides Sylvester you always bully me in school, at least you bully me some of the time, so if this is an opportunity for us to become friends and you still don't want to become my friend then no problem." Terrence said, sounding alarmed and taking several steps away from them.
"What was the test you were talking about?" The other boy asked, ignoring Terrance protest.
"You see, it would be simple really...." Sylvester said moving closer to the boy and whispering the last part of the sentence in his hear. The eyes of the other boy light up as soon as Sylvester finished his whispered words to him and they both turn towards him simultaneously.
"Don't worry, this would be so fun, you would remember tonight in the days to come and laugh about it." The boy said with assurance.
Terrance isn't assured, he was so scared his palm was turning cold and he was feeling dizzy, he felt the blackness coming faster, but he was still aware when another voice joined them, he was a bit confused because the voice sound distinctly familiar but he couldn't place it.
"What were you trying to do to him? You are both losers trying to bully another person, don't even think about doing anything to him, Or else I will skin both of you alive." The voice said.
"Who are you? Do you know him Sylv?" The Older boy said.
"Yes I do know him, what I don't understand is what he is doing here?" Sylvester answered.
He didn't hear what was been said after that, the blackness was taking over him, he tried turning around to get a look at the new person but he wasn't able to before he blacked out.
CROW HILLS TOWN
OUTSIDE ABANDONED WAREHOUSE
SATURDAY MORNING

TERRENCE JAMES
Terrence was too shaken to check the other corpse closely, moving away from the body. He started looking more clearly at his surroundings. Looking for anything that could jot his memory, anything to remind him of how he got to the place he found himself.
Suddenly Terrence spotted something smaller at the foot of the first dead body, swallowing his fear, Terrence walked closer and bend down to check what it was, he realized it was a phone. Picking it up, he pressed a button and the phone light up to show a picture of himself along with a girl who resembled him and another boy, his twin sister and younger brother, Terrence thought wryly.
Terrence smiled, he just found his phone, but the screen was locked. He tried entering different series of numbers to unlock it but the screen didn't opened, he pocketed the phone and decided to look around a little bit.
He looked about the warehouse there was nothing significant there except for the two dead bodies and the blood clot on the floor. He was too scared to check on the bodies to get their identity. Deciding that he had searched enough, he left the building moving towards the entrance. The morning sun was blinding, he lifted up his hand to shed his eyes from the glare of the sun.
Looking at himself for the first time, he noticed the sweater he was wearing was stained with blood, the lower part of his trouser had traces of blood but not as much as the sweater, the sweater was soaked with blood, Terrence couldn't decide if the blood was his or it was the blood of the dead bodies. He pulled the sweater over his head and rolled it up, seeing a dumpster nearby He dropped the blood-soaked sweater in it.
Terrence smiled seeing the inner shirt he was wearing was cleaned with no stained on it, the sweater must have been a good absorber to absorb all the blood and his inner shirt did not get stained, he thought. He looked down at his trouser again, satisfied that no one would notice the blood stain unless they look closely.
He brought out the phone again, but he couldn't remember what the password was, suddenly a series of number pop into his mind and he pressed it in and the phone lock opened, he jumped up and laughed at himself for acting childish.
Terrence opened the gallery section and started looking through all the pictures in his phone, he was surprised to remember most of the pictures and the moment they were taken. They were pictures of him, with his sisters, his family and also his friend. One was taken with the sweater he just dumped, Terrence guessed, the pictures was taken the previous day before he went out, He closed it and open his phone book.
His last call was a number with no name, obviously it was a strange number, that wasn't helpful to remind himself of what happened, he closed it again. Seeing different apps, mostly friendfinder sites. He decided to opened a random one, the one he opened BeMyFriend.com.
Terrence noticed he has one message there from JoJo21. The message was "am at the warehouse, why haven't you show up yet?"
He was so confused at the message, could the message be from one of those dead boys in the warehouse? And yet he still could not remember their identify, he closed the apps and decided to head towards the town.
Surprisingly, he remembers his home address. Walking slowly towards his house, he start thinking again. Why couldn't he remember what happened the previous night? What happened at the warehouse? Was there a fight? Who killed those boys? Who were those two dead bodies? He couldn't come up with any answer.
Terrence was frustrated, he remember everything that happened the previous day, up until he was begging his sister to follow him to a party, after that everything is blanked, including the identity of the two dead boys and how Terrence got there. There is no doubt, he must have knocked his head on something, but is that enough reason for him not to remember? Terrence thought. Was he the one that killed those boys? Did they have an argument? Was there another person who can tell him what happened at the warehouse? His memory was failing him.
