TERRANCE JAMES
"Are you sure you can't wait for me in the car? Am sure my discussion with Mr. Larkson will only be for some minutes. Before you know it we'd be dine, Besides I want you to be on the look out for me." Terrance said, trying to convince Lao for the fifth time.
"Sorry dude, I really can't wait, but I will come back. You may still be having the talk when I returned. But I really have to buy what's on this list, I told you my dad wouldn't have allow me to leave the house at this particular time of the day, if not for the fact that I have to buy things for him." Lao answered in, parking the car near the school gate.
"Its OK, I understand. But please make sure you come back to take me home, you know I can't be seen walking about the town by anyone. Especially, by the news reporter and some town people who like gossiping." Terrance told him, opening the door to get down from the car.
"OK, I will. I promise." Lao answered him, Terrance closed the car door and walks slowly towards the school gate, he stopped at the gate using his hand to shield his face from the glare if the sun, he watched as Lao drives away.
Sometimes he wonders what type of man is the Sheriff truly, most of the time Lao is always insinuating things he did or how he treated him. Terrance noticed, Lao has never outrightly say anything bad about his father but from the way he talked people could guess or come to the conclusion that the Sheriff may be abusing his own son.
Without anyone admonishing him, he knows that thought and line of thinking is bogous, who could think the man sworn to upholding the law in their town would be a child abuser, if Terrance so much as voice out his thoughts all the towns men will probably lynched him, though some may say its because Lao was his friend and just correct him on that note but none would ever agreed that the Sherrif would be mistreating his own child.
Terrance shakes his head, sometimes the adults are blind. Not realizing the truth and most of the times not accepting the truth at all. Though he wondered if it is only him that Lao shared his fear and how his father treat him with. He would have to ask him once he is able to cleared all the mystery of the murder he found himself in.
With obvious distraction with his thoughts and being unaware of his surrounding Terrance continue walking briskly towards the football field. He was still distracted with his thoughts when he reached his destination.
The echoes of a girlish laugh and clapping of hands drawn him out of his thought, though it was unexpected but he wasn't surprised to see the two girls talking and laughing with each other at the far side of the field, the very edge. He doubt they would see him even if he waved at them.
He choose the first bleachers nearest to the gate to sit on. Terrance was never a sun-loving person so he choose the spaces where there is some shades to shield him from the glare of the sun.
Raising up his left hand, which holds his wrist watch he checks the time, 2:35 pm. Mr. Larkson claimed he wants to meet him at two yet, he was nowhere to be seen thirty five minutes later.
Terrance yawn loudly, he still don't know the reason why he gets tired quickly for the past days. He decided to lie down on the bleacher he was sitting on, until Mr. Larkson arrives he can get some sleep.

MR. LARKSON.
Mr. Larkson walks faster than he normally would have walked, he couldn't checked what the time is but he was certain he is terribly late, probably late beyond the time he fixed to meet with Terrance.
His lateness was not sorely his fault, despite the fact that he was calmed during the police questioning, he was still shakened afterward, because if his instics were right then Terrance himself is in danger. He would have mentioned this at the police station but that would obviously proved their suspicious of him right, because he was certain the next question they would ask was how did he know that was the killer, or guess who the killer is.
Reaching the school gate he noticed traces of car tire on the field, that was a sure give away that Terrance is there before him, but he can't be certain, it may not be him.
The loud noise of a car coming towards the field distract him from his musing, he looked up sharply and was alarmed to see it was the sheriff's car, he hurriedly walk towards the gate and entered the school, walking faster to get out of view before the car pass by.
When he came within the school field, he smiles, he could see the shape of a person lying on his side on one of the near bleachers, the hair was what gives him away, it was definitely Terrance. He love the boy, even if the people of the town thinks its strange, the heart wants what it wants.
Not wanting to wake him and disturb the little moments of peace he was having, Mr. Larkson crepts slowly towards him and sit besides his head. He starts playing with Terrance' s hair absently.
Mr. Larkson wasn't certain and he didn't want to stands up to check but he could have swore the car stops at the school gates and that he heard the crunching of a smaller feet walking towards the field.
Even his instinct was on high alert, telling him the person who is walking towards then is the killer, his heart beat rises up, his hairs stands on up and goose bump formed on his hand. But he cant check for fear of bee proved right, he fear for his life, he can't lied to himself, he is afraid more than ever, more than when he was in services, he is afraid for Terrance. Whoever is targeting him wants to lock Terrance up for life.

Terrance woke up to the gruesome body of Mr. Larskon which was a few feet's away from the bleacher he was sleeping on, his left hand was folded up as if he tried punching someone or he was holding something while his let's hand was pointing directly towards him.
His head was bashed in totally, no doubt the job was done by using a medium sized stone with a jagged edge, his face is totally unrecognized, his left eye socket has sunked into his brain with part of if splashed near the field where his body laid limply, deathly still.
And the mystery of it all, his left ear is not there, cut off totally. Though Terrance can't guess which instrument was used in cutting off the ear and he wasn't brave enough to move near and checked it.
Terrance raised both his hands up but there was no blood on it, it was clean and sweaty, he looks slowly towards the last bleacher, and he signed loudly. The girls who were chatting there earlier have left and hopefully they didn't see him while he was lynching Mr. Larkson.
He put his hand in his pocket and brought out his phone, he placed the only call that can save him or perhaps lessened his punishment with the law.

While he sat there waiting, his thoughts keep him company, with none of it making sense to him. He couldn't get ahold of a coherent thoughts.
He wished he hasn't pray to find out some truth today, it was as if the devil is the one that signed his wishes. He couldn't take his eyes away from his phone to looked at the body of Mr. Larkson, the memory of when he first woke up and see him was too much, though it was far away from where he woke up but it was still in the same vicinity of the school ground.
There is not denying it this time around he is certain he was the one that murders Mr. Larkson though he could not remember when or how it happened.
He did the only thing he could do once he realize what has happened again, he called the sheriff. Though Lao was supposed to wait for him but his car was not there when he woke up.
He doesn't want to kill again, if there is a demon possessing him to kill, he wants to find out soon before he killed again, and that exactly was what he told the sheriff.
Though he was confused about one thing, which adds more to his confusion, where is Mr. Larkson's left ear?
