(Third Person P.O.V)

What Kai Smith had learned from all of this was that (Y/N) was an overprotective sibling who had no problem beating up someone who picked on her brother. This included himself, random people and any villain that existed in Ninjago.

He had also learned Zane had a girlfriend who would beat up anyone who so much as looked at Zane wrong. This also included himself, random people and any villain that existed in Ninjago.

This was such a well-known fact that none of the kids formerly from Darkly's School for Bad Boys turned Wu's Academy would never misbehave in Zane's class; they sat still and were on their absolute best behaviour for Zane.

Kai got the distinct feeling that they were all afraid of teachers assistant (Y/N). Who proudly sat at the side desk helping Zane oversee his class.

Jay's class on the other hand were a little rowdier but nonetheless behaved themselves and reserved their pranks for Kai and Cole. Nya's class also strangely behaved themselves. But Kai was pretty sure that had nothing to do with (Y/N).

Kai's class on the other hand were unholy terror set on destroying Kai's sanity, dignity and anything else they could get their grubby little hands on.

Kai was stuck on playground duty with Cole and Sensei Wu. While Nya and Jay were having lunch together. Kai could see Nya and Jay through the windows that led to the playground. Jay had brought some pudding cups to share with Nya that Zane was kind enough to freeze before he left to find (Y/N) and join her for lunch.

To say Kai was a little ticked was an understatement. Things just seemed to work out for the four of them lately while the rest of the team were taking the hits. Kai just couldn't figure it out.

A prank meant for Jay stuck Kai instead. Zane was supposed to be responsible for something and suddenly it fell to Sensei Wu. Nya didn't have time to spend with Jay all of a sudden things happened like a shipment was delayed or arrived early, Cole desperately needed to trade places with Nya to accommodate his schedule or avoid his dad and suddenly Nya's schedule opened up for her to see Jay.

No one even dared the thought of leaving (Y/N) alone with the kids so that was right out. So she did whatever she wanted. Which was thankful to stick by Zane's or her brother's side.

Kai just couldn't put his finger on it. None of this made sense. He also couldn't stop the feeling of unease that was nipping at the back of his brain.

(Third Person P.O.V)

(Y/N) was sitting at her desk reading her book and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere at the moment without the screaming school children.

(Y/N) looked up from her book when she heard someone claim the empty chair next to her and noticed Zane sitting there with a nervous look on his face.

"Zane." (Y/N) said, acknowledging his presence but also not acknowledging Zane's obvious nervousness.

"(Y/N)." Zane answered back with a flustered smile plastered on his face. When Zane looked at (Y/N) he realised he doesn't actually know how to communicate what he wants to do, or how he can do that in a way that won't make (Y/N)uncomfortable.

No words were exchanged between the two, with (Y/N) going back to reading her book as Zane fidgeted. Zane was trying not to look at (Y/N). He knew he would instantly blush if he looked at her. Zane's hands were shaking as he lightly tapped the back of (Y/N)'s hand to get her attention.

(Y/N) felt a gentle tap on her hand and looked up from her book to look at Zane again.

"May I have a kiss?" Zane asked, still not able to make eye contact and fiddling with his hands as he spoke.

(Y/N) gave a warm smile and leaned over and gave Zane a small peck on the cheek. After that, she went straight back to reading her book.

Again, she felt another gentle tap on her hand to get her attention. Looking up again, (Y/N) looked at the white ninja. Zane was still fidgeting with his hands with a deep blush spreading across her face.

"May I have another kiss?" Zane asked, still not able to make eye contact with the one he loved.

Again, (Y/N) leaned over and kissed Zane on the cheek but for a little longer, thinking it would satisfy the Nindroid this time.

(Y/N) sat up straight and went back to reading her book for the third time. But once again felt Zane touch her hand again.

"May I have another kiss?" Zane asked, his eyes still not quite focusing on (Y/N), but there was a renewed intensity in them when he spoke.

(Y/N) put her book down again but this time wrapped her arms around Zane and brought him closer to her face. Zane let himself get pulled in closer as (Y/N) pressed her lips on to his. After a couple of seconds, she pulled back and pulled the needy Nindroid onto her lap, wrapping one arm around Zane's back as she returned to her book again.

"..."

"..."

"Another one?" Zane pleaded, getting bolder with a determined look on his face.

This time, (Y/N) let out a long sigh as she put her book down, resigning to the fact she wasn't going to be finishing it today. She cupped Zane's face in her hands and showed his face with kisses after kisses.

Zane let out a string of strange giggles throughout it, absolutely enjoying the attention he was getting.

Giving one last kiss on Zane's forehead (Y/N) finally pulled away and the pair locked eyes. They stared at each other's eyes for what felt like ages. Hands clasped together and leaned their foreheads together.

"Happy now?" (Y/N) asked with a smile. "May I give you one now?" Zane asked and (Y/N) let out a warm chuckle. "Of course, Zane." (Y/N) answered. Zane lent forward and gave her a soft kiss.

"You're so sweet." (Y/N) murmurs while smiling at him. Nya and Jay giggled as they stepped into the doorway. "Aww, cute." Nya chuckled. "Zane, you being nice to her?" Jay joked, joining in on Nya's teasing.

"I believe it's Zane you need to worry about not me." (Y/N) stated, giving Zane a quick peck on the cheek.

"Well, we just wanted to let you know that I managed to get us an invite to Borg Tower for a field trip." Nya informed the pair. (Y/N) just shrugged; this meant nothing to her but this piqued Zane's interest.

"Back to the screaming hoards?" (Y/N) asked the others with a bitter sigh. "Yeah back to the screaming hoards." Jay agreed with his sister.

"What screaming hoards?" Zane questioned them both. Jay and Nya let out a laugh. "Zane we're referring to the children." Nya explained and (Y/N) gave him a kiss on the cheek.
