The next day...

Dominic: "So that woman had the switch to some sort of suicide protocol for her and the other six we sent to the brig."

Everyone is discussing the sudden turn of events at the usual spot.

Dawn: "Probably so sensitive information doesn't get leaked."

Connor smashes his face against a wall.

Connor: "(muffled) We don't even know who these guys are!"

Matt: "(darkly) Project Echo."

Everyone turns towards Matt, who has a look of concern on his face.

Carmen: "Project Echo?"

Matt: "A government project tat's dedicated to Echo studies so they can weaponized the entire American population."

Awkward moment of silence...

Matthew: "(awkwardly) How do you know about that?"

Matt pulls out his best Relay Gear he's ever created from beneath the counter.

Matt: "I'm half the reason it started."

Jeremy: "Wh-What?!"

Matt passes each Relay Gear of everyone's color to everyone.

Ashley: "You started Project Echo?!"

Matt: "I was in charge of developing lightweight, durable armor and my partner was the one searching for a way to unlock human potential."

Matthew: "What was his name?"

Matt: "... Zemenis."

Meanwhile...

Zemenis: "Dr. Merriel has easily told them who he is."

Zemenis stands in the basement.

Zemenis: "Now to stop running." 

Meanwhile...

Nicole: "Dear god..."

Matt: "Now he's after Jeremy because of his one of a kind Stream Echo."

An envelop slides under the door.

Ashley: "We'll take care of him."

Jeremy grabs and opens the envelop.

Jeremy: "The public library by the end of the month."

Jeremy throws away the message.

Nicole: "Then we've got a few weeks to prepare."

Everyone locks gazes.

Dawn: "Let's go get ready to kick some ass."

Dawn holds her fist out, with the other eight doing the same and creating a circle.

Connor: "I like the sound of that!"

They break the circle.

Matthew: "We'll go upgrade our weapons and meet back here on the 31st, Halloween."

Dominic: "Okay then!"
