Mitch's P.O.V

"MITCH!!" Echo screamed. I run towards the place she went into.

"ECHO! Where are you?!" I run up the stairs. I instantly stop and look at the wall.

"I warned you?" I see something on the ground. I pick up Echo's sword. No, no she isn't gone! I back up into the wall behind me. I sink to the floor. I just stare at the wall. I look at her sword. I grip the handle tight. I feel a tear go down my face. I slam my fist on the ground hard. I feel pain shoot up my arm. I ignore it. She's She's gone. I clench my fists. I stand up slowly. This has to be Herobrine's work. It has to be. I run down the steps and outside. I untie Spirit. Echo's horse. I untie my horse and get in it. I grab Spirit lead. We start heading towards the base. I look at the ground. That village made Echo disappear. I put her sword away somewhere. I look ahead. I can't believe I lost her again. How could I have let her disappear again? Again! Under my watch too! I look at Spirit. He notices that we are leaving Echo. I have to tug his lead every now and then to keep him going. Spirit and Echo are like the best of friends. You can't have one without the other. Spirit is a black mustang. How she got him I have no idea. How she got him tame no clue. All I know is that Echo took care of Spirit since he was a colt. They grew a strong bond. Now Echo's gone.

I see the base. I get off my horse. I grab their leads in both hands. I start walking. I put my hood up. I have Echo's sword in my hand. I walk through the gate. People seem happy to see me and when they notice that Echo is not here they look away from me. Robert looks at me.

"Mitch where's Echo?" Robert asks. I stop in my tracks. I turn around and I look at him. Everyone is looking at me scared.

"She disappear." Everyone gasps. I put the horses in their stables. I go in the Meeting Hall. Seto and Sky are talking about something. They didn't even notice that I enter the room. I put my hood down. I toss Echo's sword on the table. It makes a loud noise as it hits the wood table. They look at me. Sky stands up.

"Mitch what happen?" Sky asks.

"Echo......disappeared. Sky....Herobrine did it. I know he did. They was blood on the wall of a house that said I warned you." I have to talk to Jason. I pick up Echo's sword and leave. I open the doors to the Training Area. I close them I look up. Jerome and our recruits are here too. They all look at me. They all smile expect for Jerome.

"Your...back. Whats wrong?" Jerome asks. I walk past Jerome and stop in front of Jason. I put Echo's sword in his hand. I leave.

Jason's P.O.V

Mitch leaves. Ok that was weird. I look at the sword in my hand. I look at the name. No. No. That's not true. My eyes widen. They all look at me.

"What is it Jason?" Danny asks.

"Echo's gone." Jerome takes the sword and looks at it. I look at the ground. I clench my fists.

"No way she is gone. She can't be gone." Megan said. Jerome looks at me in disbelief.

"H-He's right.....Mitch."
Jerome said as he looks towards the door. He leaves running out the door. I look at the recruits. I have to know what happen.

"Jason..you okay?" Cheyenne asks.

"I'm fine. You can have the rest of the day off. I have to go." I don't wait for them to response. I leave.

Lisa's P.O.V

I grabbed Misty's arm and pull her aside. She looks at me. I know that she ask Echo for help with Mitch. This is her chance to get close to him.

"What?" Misty asks.

"Why are you here?" She looks confuse.

"What?" Misty asks.

"Mitch. Echo's missing. He's probably upset. Go talk to him. Get him to be open with you. That's how I got close to Sky." Misty leaves. I look up at the sky. Where are you Echo? We all need you more then you think.

Misty's P.O.V

I see Mitch shooting at some targets. I stop next to him. He releases. He misses the target. Wait what? I know that something is bothering him if he misses a target.

"You never miss." Mitch looks at me. He does look upset.

"You okay?" He aims. He's ignoring me. Well I'm not giving up easily. He releases. I take Mitch's bow. He looks at me.

"What? I'm fine." Mitch said. I put his bow down. I look at him.

"No your not. How can you be? You lost your sister. I wouldn't be okay. Want to talk about it?" Mitch looks at the ground. Come on. I know he wants to. I put my arms around his neck. I turn his head so he is looking at me. He was crying. I wipe his tears away. I put my hand on the back of his neck.

"Come on Mitch. I know you have feelings too. If you want to cry, I will be right here for you. I won't think any less of you. It just shows that you care about Echo." I hug him tight. I feel his arms go around my center. We don't have to talk, but I feel like that would be better. Let's go somewhere else. I let go of him and he lets go of me. I grab his bow and his arm. I pull him outside and into my room. This way we are more private. I shut the door. Not like that way. Mitch sits on the floor and leans on my bed. I put his bow on the bed. I sit next to him. I look at him. He is looking at the floor.

Mitch's P.O.V

I know what Misty is trying to do. It might work. Jerome already tried to talk to me. Now Misty.

"Mitch, do you want to talk about it?" Misty asks. I need to. I know that I won't feel better till I do.

"I should, shouldn't I?" I look at her.

"It would make you feel better and I'll listen to you." Misty said. I look back at the ground. I will talk about with her then. I failed my Dads dying wish to protect my little sister.

"I failed to keep my Dads last dying wish, to keep my sister safe."

"Mitch you can't protect Echo from everything. Bad things happen, but it's through those bad things that makes us who we are. Your Dad meant to look out for her. Protect her when you know you have too. Step in her life when it's needed. She thinks your overprotective." Misty said. I look at her. Overprotective? I guess that's true. I guess I can stop being in Echo's life a lot. But what about now? That's when she needed me and I wasn't there to help her.

"She's the only family I have left and now she's gone cause I wasn't there to help her. She has always been there for me and I wasn't there for her. I feel like I abandon her in her time of need." I feel tears coming down my face. I know I'm crying, but I can't help it. It's happening all over again. When she was first taken by Herobrine and now it's happening again. I feel Misty put her arm across my chest and her other one behind my neck. I look at the ground.

"You didn't abandon her. You weren't there Mitch. How could you have known this was going to happen? We will get her back. I promise we will. This is none of your fault Mitch. So please stop blaming yourself for this. Your helping Echo by telling us what happen. Sky and the other guys will get her back even if it kills them. I know how important she is here. She makes you guys feel better. She takes care of you. I know that she can tell when something is wrong with one of you and will do anything to see you smile. Now it's your guys turn to help Echo. You are not going to get her back but being like this. You need to get up and go back to the Mitch we all know and love." Misty said. I feel her hand turn my head. I look into Misty's blue eyes. I crack a smile. She knows how to make me feel better.

"There's that Mitch smile I was waiting for." Misty said. She wipes away my tears. I feel her hand go flat on my chest. She looks at me. Echo set this up. That's why she wanted me to give her archery lessons.

"That's why you wanted archery lessons." Misty starts blushing. I figured this out. Took me a while, but I figured it out. Misty smiles. Misty leans in a little. She stops. She's hesitating. She doesn't know if she should or not. I know what she's was about to do. I help her out here.

Misty's P.O.V

I don't know if I should kiss him. His eyes are red cause he's been crying. I really want to kiss him. But he might not want to. That's always my questioning. Should I or shouldn't I? Mitch kisses me instead. Is this really happening? Omg yes it is! I kiss him back. I feel his hand on my neck. I move in closer to him. He's a great kisser. I'm pretty sure they all are. I can't believe I'm kissing Mitch and he started it too. Echo was right, he does like me back. She is good at this. I put my hand on the back of his neck. I feel his hair on my fingers. I know that it is late at night. I put my other hand flat on his chest. I put my hand through his hair. I'm enjoying this.

Mitch's P.O.V

I knew that she wanted to kiss me. I could see it in her eyes and by the way she was acting. She puts her forehead on mine and looks at me in the eyes. She's smiling.

"How did you know that I like you?" Misty asks.

"Cause I like you." Misty's face turns red. I smile. She kisses me again. I kiss her back.

Andrew's P.O.V

Echo is sleeping on my chest. She needs the rest. I check on her to make sure she is breathing normal. Someone appears a couple of feet away from me. Who is this? I hold Echo tight. She has been hurt enough. I look closely at this person. I know them. They are chained to the wall.

"Hey Hunter." Hunter looks at me.

"Is that Echo?" Hunter asks looking at her. I look at her. She shivers every once in a while. I put my jacket on her to keep her warm. She needs it more then I do.

"Yeah and keep your voice down, she's sleeping." Hunter smiles.

"Echo is sleeping on you. Man you just got higher in the popular chain Andrew. What happen to her?" Hunter asks. He must see the bloody rags and first aid kit near us.

"I got her shot in the knee, shoulder and side. A girl give me a first aid kit and I used it on Echo. I took care if her Hunter. She's weak and hurt. I made her that way."

"She's tough Andrew. She's tougher then every girl I know. She will survive this. I'm expecting Mitch to show up any second and look at her and you. Then take her away from you." Hunter said. If Mitch was here, he would carry Echo instead of me. Also I'm sure he would kill me for touching his little sister when I was taking care of her wounds. She's younger then me too.

"She's younger then me though. Which makes me feel worst. Besides Mitch would kill me knowing that I'm holding his little sister and was the cause of her pain." Hunter looks confuse.

"She's younger? But how many years?" Hunter asks.

"She's 16. The oldest out the all of them is Sky and he's 19."

"Wow talk about growing up fast. I feel bad for them that they had to give up their lives so we don't have too. That's why you moved yourself higher in the chain. I wouldn't do that to Echo cause I don't want to face an angry Mitch." Hunter said. I grab her wrist. She still has a steady pulse. I lay her wrist back on my chest. I put my arm back around her. I'm being careful of her shoulder, knee and side. Just so she doesn't wake up with pain. I'm sure she will. But I don't want to be the cause of more then she has right now.

"I know me neither, but she was dying. I couldn't let her die. If Mitch knew that she died because of me, I'm sure I would be dead too." Echo moves her hand a little. She's awake.

Echo's P.O.V

I move my hand on something soft and warm. I feel something on my too that's warm. I open my eyes slowly. My vision is blurred. I'm still here and lying on Andrew. My vision clears. Someone else is here. When did they get here? Andrew's jacket is on me and his arms are around me. Pain is shooting everywhere across my body. I have to ignore it for a while.

"Your comfy Andrew." I look at him. He cracks a smile. My hand felt bumps on his chest and stomach. That's might be his abs. He's strong. Why does Herobrine want him? I think I can get us all out if here. But I'm going to have to use magic. They all will see it too.

"Aww you two look like a couple." A guy said.

"I like to see Andrew get pass Mitch okay."

"Echo this is Hunter. He's a friend of mine." Andrew said. I smile at Hunter. He does it back.

"I think I know how to get us all out of here." Everyone looks at me.

"How?" Someone asks.

"Do it." Someone said. There's only one problem.

"There's only one problem."

"What is it?" Andrew asks.

"I have to use want magic I think I have left. Which could kill me or knock me unconscious." I have to do it.

"Don't do it then if it could kill you." Hunter said. I might not use all of my magic. I have too.

"How many are there?"

"Ten or eleven. But your not doing it." Andrew said. He's trying to protect me like Mitch.

"Head to the base." This is something I must do. I close my eyes. I focus on who's and where's in the room. Everyone must have a white outline on them. We teleport. Everything went black.

Andrew's P.O.V

She didn't listen to me. I hold Echo and sit up. We are in the North Village. Hunters comes next to me.

"How is she?" He asked. I check her pulse. Omg yes. She w as scaring me for a second.

"She's knock out." Everyone sighs with relief. I pick Echo up in my arms. I stand up. Her head id on my chest. Hunter puts my jacket back on her again. We both walk to the front of the group.

"Okay everyone. To the base like Echo said." We all start walking there. When did Echo get magic? I'm holding her carefully. I should have grabbed the first aid kit with me. Herobrine should have known that Echo has magic. She still has braces on her wrists. She is not heavy. She's pretty light.

I see the base. We walk through the gate. Echo was in my arms the entire time. I'm not complaining. Everyone goes to their families. Robert stops in front of me.

"You found Echo. What happen to her?" Robert asks moving my coat up from her. I feel a tear go down my cheek.

"It's my fault she got hurt. I took care of her since she got hurt." Robert wipes the tear away from my face.

"Andrew you saved Echo's life. She unconscious. Come here. Let's take her to the hospital." Robert said. Mitch looks at me. My eyes widen. Mitch comes running next to us. O no! He's gonna murder me!

"Mitch please don't kill me. I-"

"Thanks for bring her back. And taking care of her." Mitch said. Robert and I look at Mitch. He's okay with this? How?

"Are you two gonna keep staring at me or are you going to take her to the hospital?" Mitch asks. I run past Mitch and to the hospital.

Mitch's P.O.V

"Mitch you okay?" Robert asks. I look at him.

"I'm fine."

"I thought you would murder Andrew." Robert said. Andrew huh? He saved my little sister's life. I can't murder him. I wanted to. But I won't.

"Someone talk to me and I guess I was a little to overprotective of Echo."

"Who is this person? I want to know how they changed your mind of being protective of your sister." Robert said. Misty changed my mind. But I am worried about Echo.

"Misty did."

"Give Misty a gold metal for changing your mind then. Wait did something happen between you and Misty?" Robert asks. I look at him. What? The kiss, that must be what he is talking about.

"No."

"Sure, I'll believe that for now." Robert said.

Andrew's P.O.V

They took Echo a little while ago. The doctor comes out. He looks at me.

"What's your name?" He asks.

"Andrew." The guys come in the hospital and stop next to me.

"How is she?" Ian asks. Sky is right next to me. The oldest out of all of them.

"Andrew saved Echo's life. If ha hadn't took care of Echo's
wounds she would have died." The doctor said. He went back to his work. I stood there in disbelief. I saved Echo? I did? The guys look at me. I turn around and back up. I look at them. Sky looks at the guys and then at me.

"Thanks Andrew. Guys?" Sky asks. He looks at them. They are still staring at me. Sky rolls his eyes.

"Guys!" Sky yells as he claps his hands. The guys look like they were just put back into reality.

"Thanks." They said.

"Your welcome. Echo's a sweet girl." They nod. Mitch comes in. He stops next to Sky.

"How is she?" Mitch asks.

"Andrew saved her life Mitch. She would have died if he hadn't done anything." Sky said. Mitch looks at me. I take a step back. I put my hands up in front of me.

"Mitch um d-"

"Andrew like I said a little while ago. Thanks for saving Echo. Wait did you think I was going to murder you?" Mitch asks. We all nod.

"I know that I'm overprotective of Echo, but I'm that bad?" Mitch asks.

"Yes." Sky said without hesitation.

"Yep." Jerome said. The rest of us nodded. Mitch looks at me.

"I just don't want her heart to be broken by some guy. But I had someone talk some sense into me. I'll back off a little." Mitch said.

"You let her do what she wants?" Ian asks.

"Yeah." Mitch said.

"You'll let her date a guy if she wants and not come between them?" Sky asks.

"I won't, unless he breaks her heart. Then I will." Mitch said. I roll my eyes.

"Fine, but you let her do things on her own without questioning her?" Quentin asks. Wow, Mitch is overprotective.

"Yes." Mitch said.

"Wow Mitch you are overprotective." Mitch glares at me.

"Where you guys at?" Sky asks. I look at him.

"Herobrine's place or something. But he appeared with Echo chained to a wall. She was going to use her as leverage for me to talk. She said that not to talk no matter what happen. I didn't. She was shot in the knee, side, and right knee. They gave me a first aid kit. I used it on her. I pulled the arrows out and wrapped her wounds up. She's tough after that."

"Echo is pretty tough. She can take a hit. But arrows are worst." Jerome said.

Sky's P.O.V

Why would Herobrine give them a first aid kit?

"Why would he give the first aid kit if he shoot Echo?"

"I don't know." Andrew said.

"Why would he? It makes no sense." Ian said. Wait Shadow. I look at Seto.

"He wants her." Seto said.

"That is the only reason I can think of for Herobrine to keep her alive."

"Who?" Quentin asks.

"Shadow."

"That does makes sense." Mitch said.

"Who's Shadow?" Andrew asks.

"But I thought he already used her." Jason said. He can use it again. Kind of like he can use my dark side again. He could control Shadow again. Knowing Echo she could fight it. But she's weak right now. Wait. I just put this all together.

"What is it Sky?" Quentin asks. I look at him.

"He didn't want you Andrew."

"He didn't?" Andrew asks. I nod.

"No he used you. He wanted Echo weak. She had to be hurt in order to be weak. He did that and he used you to heal her. He wanted her weak so Shadow could be more stable in her."

"That does make sense. That will make Echo trying to break free harder for her since she's weaker." Mitch said.

"Sky what does Herobrine want with Shadow though?" Jerome asks. I don't know why.

"He used Shadow to try to kill us last time. It didn't work." Ian said. But why the North Village?

"Anything else that happen Andrew?" I look at Andrew.

"He said something for test subjects for the real one. The one with the most powerful being." Andrew said. Most powerful being?

"That would be either Sky or Echo." Ian said.
