Chapter 12

Stiles's Pov

Another day of school is just another day of hell. At least in my opinion.

Whoever loves school, I'm sorry to say this, but that's just plain sad.

However, there's only two good things about coming to school.

Seeing Malia, Kira, Theo, Liam and Isaac drag my ex pack away whenever they tried coming near me.

And being able to see June, Jake, Olivia and Luke and hang out with them.

I have some classes with them and we sit together for lunch, meaning that I don't have to worry about being alone.

Speaking of lunch, the five of us decided to eat outside since the weather was pretty nice today.

I was completely fine with that because I didn't have to be inside a cafeteria where my ex pack, especially Scott, would be glaring at me.

I wanted to smack his head with my tray, but I had to refrain myself from doing so.

And I'm fine eating outside.

I have no interest being anywhere near Scott, let alone his pack.

Of course, not including the only ones that still like me and I still consider my friends.

So, here we are now.

I sat next to Luke while Jake sat next to Luke at his other side.

Olivia and June sat across from us and they were holding hands, they were being all lovey dovey towards each other.

I swear I envy their relationship, it brings back bittersweet memories for me, especially during the time I was together with...him.

But, nevertheless, I am happy they have each other.

They really do love each other. I can see it in their eyes.

While we were eating our lunch, the four of them were joking around with each other, laughing freely.

I swear the amount of times Jake or Luke threw their food at the girls for making out was hilarious.

It was even more hilarious when Olivia threatened to color their hair pink in their sleep.

We all finished eating, but we still had enough time before the bell rings and we have to head to our next class.

I was looking at my phone, trying to distract myself for the time being.

"Stiles" Olivia called out to me.

"Yeah?" I asked, looking up at her.

"Do you want to go to the mall with us today?" Olivia asked.

"Again?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah. Apparently, my lovely girlfriend saw a few cute dresses on sale, meaning she wants to go back and get them" Olivia rolled her eyes.

I smiled at that while Luke and Jake groaned.

"Why didn't you just get them yesterday?" Jake asked.

"I had already bought enough stuff and spent alot of money. Besides, they just got on sale today" June defended.

Olivia sighed but a soft smile was planted on her face.

I swear that smile was so rare to see from her.

Nobody, not even Luke, would receive that smile from her.

That smile is reserved for June and June only. Nobody else but her.

"Well, I'm down to go to the mall again" I shrugged.

"If he's going, I'm going too" Luke smirked at me.

I scoffed and rolled my eyes, amusement coursing through my body.

Of course, Luke would only go if I were going.

I swear, I could say I'd go to mars and he'd automatically tag along.

I had to admit, it was pretty cute.

But, I'd never say that out loud, let alone to Luke. I don't need his ego increasing.

"Well, I sure as hell ain't going to be left out, so I'm going too" Jake said.

"Awesome, we're all going then" June happily smiled.

Olivia smiled softly at her before leaning in to kiss her cheek, causing June to smile and blush.

June kissed her on the lips and Olivia immediately kissed back. The kissing soon turned into another makeout session.

Jake and Luke groaned while I laughed in amusement.

"Hello! We're still here!" Jake yelled, trying to gain their attention.

But, the only thing he received was the middle finger from Olivia, who didn't look at him or pull away from June.

Jake looked offended and huffed, crossing his arms over his chest.

The makeout session continued, only of course until Luke snapped and threw his fork at them.

The couple finally pulled away and turned around to glare at him.

"Oops, it slipped" Luke smirked.

"You little shit!" Olivia glared at her brother.

She tried lunging at him, earning a slight shriek from said brother, only for June to quickly grab her and pulled her away.

Jake and I glanced at each other before we burst out laughing.

I could feel Luke glaring at us, but we couldn't bring ourselves to care.

I swear our group is like a comedy group and I honestly live for it.

A Few Hours Later

Finally, school was over and the best part is that I didn't get any homework.

Actually...I did get homework from one class, but it's better than getting homework from all of them.

I got out of class as soon as the bell rang and made my way towards my locker.

I put in the books that I didn't need before grabbing the books that I was going to need for later.

Hopefully the others and I don't spend too much time at the mall. I want to get this homework assignment done in time.

I hate going to bed late. I need my sleep, if I don't get proper sleep, I'll just go insane.

Oh, and of course I need my coffee, it helps me stay awake if I do get tired.

"You better not come to the loft" I heard an annoying voice say.

I clenched my eyes shut and gritted my teeth. I knew that voice way too damn well.

Turning my head around, I saw Scott standing by his locker, a glare settled on his face.

"Excuse me?" I asked.

"I said you better not come to the loft" Scott repeated.

"Why would I?" I asked, raising an eyebrow at him.

"We're having a pack meeting. It's only for the members of the pack" Scott smirked.

Is he trying to get a reaction out of me just by saying that?

Does he expect me to cry because I'm not invited to a stupid pack meeting?

If he is, he's really dumber than he intends to be.

"As far as I'm concerned, I don't give a damn about some stupid meeting, I'm not apart of the pack anymore. So, don't worry" I gave him a fake smile.

The stupid smirk on his face faltered, now it was time for me to smirk.

I rolled my eyes and closed my locker, getting ready to leave, only to be stopped again.

"Have fun spending your time alone. Especially when you don't have any plans, let alone anyone else to hang out with" Scott mockingly smiled.

I gritted my teeth and clenched my fist, trying to calm myself down.

Don't last out on this idiot. Keep calm, deep breaths, deep breaths.

Although I'm so damn tempted to shove my fist into his face, wanting that stupid smile to disappear.

"That's where you're wrong. I do have plans today" I calmly spoke.

"Oh yeah? With who?" Scott asked, scoffing.

I opened my mouth to say something, only to feel an arm around my shoulder.

I turned around and internally sighed in relief when I saw that it was Luke.

However, I did gulp slightly when I saw the look in his eyes, he looked so ticked off.

Oh please don't tell me he overheard Scott and I talking.

"With me" Luke spoke.

Scott's eyes widened slightly, he obviously hadn't expected that.

"You're hanging out with one of the new kids?" Scott asked, shocked.

"The new kid has a name" I glared at him.

"Indeed I do. The name is Luke. And yes, he's hanging out with me. Not just me, but my friends too" Luke said.

The fact that he spoke so calmly yet his eyes told a different story.

Scott opened his mouth to say something, only for Luke to beat him to it.

"Well, we should get going. The others are waiting for us outside" Luke smiled at me.

"Yeah, we wouldn't want to keep them waiting any longer" I nodded.

Luke hummed in agreement before turning to Scott.

"I'd say it was nice meeting you, but I would just be lying. See you around, crooked jaw" Luke grinned.

I let out a loud snort while Scott looked offended by what Luke had said.

Luke ignored him, clearly unbothered, and just like that we both turned around and walked away.

When we were away from Scott, Luke turned to look at me.

"Are you ok? Was he bothering you?" Luke asked, clearly concerned.

"I'm fine, don't worry. And he was bothering me a little, but you came in time, so it's fine" I smiled slightly.

"I saw the way you were looking at him whenever he spoke, you were annoyed and angry, I couldn't just stand back and do nothing" Luke explained.

Well, that's nice of him.

And I'm glad he stepped in because I was close to snapping.

Finally, we made it to the parking lot and we spotted the others.

Olivia had her arm around June's waist, scrolling through her phone, while June and Jake talked.

Jake was the first one to see us and smiled.

"Finally, are you guys ready to go?" Jake asked.

"Yeah we are" Luke nodded.

"Sorry to keep you waiting. I just had to get my things from my locker" I said.

"No worries, Stiles" June waved me off.

"Come on, lets get going" Olivia said.

"Well, you guys can go without me. I'll be going with Stiles and Luke" Jake said.

"Why?" Luke asked, looking a little annoyed.

"Because everytime I go with them, they're either flirting with each other or stopping the car just to makeout" Jake deadpanned.

"Stop being bitter just because you're single" Olivia scoffed.

Jake glared at her while June gently smacked her arm.

I chuckled in amusement while Luke rolled his eyes, his lips twitching slightly.

"Alright, well, come on Jake" I smiled.

Jake smiled back at me before getting into the back of my jeep.

I watched as Olivia and June got into Olivia's car before turning around, just in time to see Luke getting into the passenger seat.

I got in the drivers seat, tossing my bag to the back of the car.

"Ow!" Jake yelled.

"Oh, sorry, Jake" I frowned.

"It's fine, just give me a warning next time" Jake sighed.

I nodded and just when I was about to start the jeep, I felt Luke placing his hand on my thigh.

I sighed and looked at him, he was already looking at me, a smirk on his face.

"Really?" I asked.

"You're not complaining, love" Luke smirked.

And we're back to the nickname...great, just great.

I sighed in annoyance before deciding to just wave it off, especially when he started caressing my thigh.

My cheeks were turning red and I quickly started the jeep, wanting to distract myself, before watching as Olivia drove off.

I drove off after and like that, we were off, again.
