Marco Pov
I made it home and I still felt stars lips on me, it was soft and warm and slightly familiar I dong know I don't like Star that way I have to focus on the date with Jackie, as I get up to my room my phone vibrates 'Marco!look I have a twin!' She sent me a picture of her and a guy that looks like her "That's not weird or anything"

I shake my head and reply back and toss my phone and just think..am I really starting to fall the new girl that just came in weeks ago? Possibly but I'm not certain about it yet..I shake the thought and wonder what I should do on this date with Jackie, she's cool and funny and understanding "Marco dinner is ready" my mom pops in my room

"Be down in a few..just my mind is going crazy" she smirked and sat down next to me "Well tell me and I could help" I sigh and sit up "Mom..I kissed someone" she smiled "That's wonderful, who's the lucky lady your dating?" I shake my head "No..we aren't dating. It was star who I kissed because her ex boyfriend showed up and try to kiss her so I told him she was mine, and we kissed...now I'm confused, I did the wrong thing"

I looked down at my hands "Honey, I know you like to help people, but kissing a girl just to protect her is giving her false hope that there might be a chance with you, I love star I do but you like her as a friend right?" I nodded "If I was star, I would've wanted to date you, that's probably what's happening at her house right?" I shrug "I doubt she doesn't want to, she just told me to forget it ever happened, which I'm gladly to forget"

I get up and walk to my dresser "Marco, I know you care about Star but don't mess with her feelings, she's a nice girl..come down when your ready" she kissed the side of my head and left me alone, was my mom right..it was was to say I was her boyfriend even though we aren't together? What else was I going to do? That guy was a jerk and he didn't deserve her..I just clear my mind and head for dinner, I need food..

The next morning I met up with Star and she was with the boy "Morning Marco! This is my cousin comet he's been transferred to be at our school isn't that great?" I nod and shake his hand "Nice to meet you, cool hat" he chuckles "Thanks, I heard you can't wear hats but I don't look good without one..if. you catch my drift" we chuckle and walked to school, it was kinda quiet between me and Star.

Only one talking was comet, it didn't even phase him that he was talking to himself "So tonight's the date right?" I look at Star who's looking at her phone, avoiding eye contact "Yeah..later though, any words of wisdom to tell me?" She giggles and rolls her eyes playfully "Don't be rude. And always be a gentleman..and good luck" I smiled

"Thanks" we went on with our day and it went normal again to say but I know this is bothering her and it's kinda bothering me too "Is it bad that I'm nervous for this date?" I say as we walk home "No, it's totally cool to be nervous...but not too much" I sigh "I'm going to make a fool out of myself tonight"

she grabbed my face and made me look at he'd "Hey! That's quitter talk, what happened to the Diaz that had confidence a couple days ago?" I chuckle "I'm still here.." she took her hands off me and enter her front gate "If you are dying call me and I could help you, later"

she waved along with her cousin and I walked home and got ready for the date, I wore a nice dress shirt and some slacks, I never really been on a date, as I look at myself before I go I sigh and leave, I'm having doubts about this whole thing..

I get to Jackie's house and knock and she opens it and she's wearing a beautiful dress and her hair is curled up and looks very pretty "Wow.." she blushed "What's wrong? Too much?" I shake my head "No, you look great" she giggles and we walked to the restaurant, it was a couple blocks from her house "So, what have you been up to lately?" Yeah small talk

"Oh, Um fixing the house from the party still, my parents are kinda mad but I'm used to it, how about you? You seem to disappear when your friend is around" I nervously chuckle "Yeah, star she's my best friend, well I'm her only friend right now she's having a rough life" Jackie nods

"Wow, she was wild at my party, so we're you..I think you kissed someone but I couldn't remember the face" I kissed someone? "I wasn't myself that day, neither of us were" we laughed and we got seated.

As the date went on, I got to know Jackie better but every time I looked behind her I saw Star but it wasn't her "You alright? You keeps shaking your head a lot?" I blush "Sorry it's just I'm thinking of someone..it's not important let's continue our date" she nods but still looks uneasy "Alright..well you look very attractive at my party, it's a cool look for you, is that what you wear out of the uniform?" I chuckle

"No..I usually wear a red hoodie and jeans and converse, Star picked that outfit for me to impress you, which it worked I guess" Jackie blushed "Wow that's another thing Star did..was it stars idea for us to go on this date?" She said kinda annoyed "No, it was me that asked you she wasn't even there when you came by, are you mad because I'm talking about Star?"

Jackie crossed her arms "Yes..Marco I like you but if your gonna talk about Star all the time you should go on a date with her, good bye Marco" she got up and walked away and I sat there, was she right? Was I always talking about Star? I pay and run towards Stars house and she's in a oversized shirt and shorts and her hair in a messy bun

"Marco what are you doing here? What happened to your date?" I held her shoulders and looked right at her and she started to blush "Marco? Kinda awkward just staring at me and holding kinda tight" I loosen my grip and sigh "All I could think of was you" she gasp a little "What?"...
