Marco Pov
After dinner I walked star home, she was quiet when we got there "Thanks for walking me home" she gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek "Night Star, text me if you need anything" she waved "Will do!" She enters her house and I make my way to my house when I see Jackie walking towards me "Hey Marco, what you doing out here at night?"

I chuckle "Bringing Star home, she had rough day with her parents" she nods "Oh that sucks, hey is it weird question to ask a person to kiss them?" I blush "Um yeah..like to ask permission to do so?" She nods "Yup, that was my reaction too, anyways see ya tomorrow at school" as she begins walking I stop her

"Jackie wait!" She looks back "Yeah?" "Want to go on a date this week, I'll play" she blushed "Sure, I would love to, here's my number so text me alright" she said as she wrote her number in my hand with a pen "Yeah, will do be careful walking home" she nods "Thanks later" she starts walking faster and disappears into the darkness and I hurry my butt home too "Marco is that you?"

"Yeah!" I go up to my room and jump on my bed and all I smell is stars vanilla scent on my sheets, she was awfully close to me today, she cuddled up on me she fell on me..and she blushed when I said something sweet..but that's star she unpredictable, I look at my phone and my hand and text Jackie my number so she'll have it 'Hey it's Marco, save the number in case you forget' I put my phone down and go to sleep..

I wake up and do my routine and go have breakfast and meet star at her gate and I see her there on her phone probably playing a game while I arrived "Morning Star" "Hey Marco, ready?" She said not looking off her screen and I chuckle "What are you playing?" "Fairy princess vs unicorns, it's pretty fun I started playing it last night, I couldn't sleep"

"Why didn't you text me?" She paused bed game "You needed a break from me, I took up all your time yesterday, I just didn't want you to stay up all night with me, you need sleep too" I roll my eyes "I will never understand you star" "Good, hey look it's Jackie" I nodded "Yeah, I spoke to her sat night when dropped you off, she asked me a weird question but I answered it somehow, also I have a date this week so give me props"

she punches my shoulder lightly "Way to go Diaz! Look at you already going to the next step, so where you gonna take her?" I have hi clue "Movies?" Star shakes her head "Okay, pizza place?" She nods a no again. "Take her to a nice restaurant, wow her Marco girls love that type of stuff"

I nod and sigh "Fine a nice restaurant, and should I get her flowers or something?" She nods "I guess but we saw how this chick is when she's not herself" that's true "Alright, I'll plan it out and see how it goes, so are you feeling better from yesterday?" She nods "Yeah, my parents apologize last night, and it was a sweet and night moment I had with them in awhile"

I happy she fixed things "Hey Star look it's Oskar" she looks and rolls her eyes "I don't care, he never called or texted me so I gave up on him" what that can't be true but I'm glad she moved on from him, he's not good for her "Oh okay, so you like anyone at the moment?" She shrugs and blushes "I might but I'm not sure yet, but enough of me, worry about you date this week, you need to focus on that buddy"

I nod and we head to our classes and it by quick, especially on a Monday which is weird as we were walking out the school entrance star is frozen at the entrance and I gave her a confused look "Star you okay?" She points to a guy with fiery red hair and and was dressed punk rock and laying on a nice car "Who's that?"

She nods behind me "That's my ex..Tom" that's her ed she ripped up from her photo wall "Why are you hiding behind me?" "Because he wants me back and I really don't..like I really..don't" I sigh and I see him walk towards us "We'll he's coming over" star peek and saw him and squeal in horror

"Hey star, miss me?" "No, you can go now" he chuckles and I don't really like this guy "Come on Starship, why would I want to leave if I just got here, I thought you'll still want to see me after our break up" she crossed her arms "I moved on!" He laughs "Why do you still have the devil horns on your head still?"

"Because I actually like it, I might hate you but I still like the gift you gave me, why are you hung up on me? Move on Tom" so that's why she wears them, she's not fully over him? Or is she? I stay close "Come on star let's go" I grab her hand and he pulls her arm too "Can you please let go of her?" He glared at me "Who the hell are you?" Star moved away from his grip "This is Marco my-" "Boyfriend!"

Star gave me a shocked expression "Oh yeah, then prove that she's your girlfriend, give her a kiss" I nervously chuckle "Um we don't need to kiss for your pleasure or to prove to you that we're dating" I said and Tom didn't look convinced "Kiss her or I know this is a sham and I'll take her back with me" star moved back a little and I blushed, I was going to kiss star and we don't like each other like that "Fine Tom, we will do it of you leave me alone" he nods and we face each other and we blush, this is so weird..

She grabs face and we kiss and it actually wasn't that bad and I held on her arms and we separated and looked at each other "Alright, I see you two are really together, I'll be around star, I'm not giving up on us" he got in his car and I looked at star who's face was red and I felt uncomfortable "So.." she raised her hand "Never tell anyone about this, and also thanks for protecting me and covering me as your girlfriend" I nodded "No problem. It was just a kiss that meant absolutely nothing because are best friends" she nods "Yeah..this is awkward..let's talk about your date"

Star Pov
We talked about his date but now all I could think about is the kiss, I actually liked it and it felt familiar, he was totally my mystery kisser no doubt about it, I just held my arms together as we walked home why did Tom have to come back, I hate him so much.."Hey you okay?" I looked at Marco who looked worried "Yeah just thinking of Tom, I just hate him but he might be right..I still have these stupid horns he gave me, but I'm not sure if I'm ready to get rid of it..I guess I still want him in my life somehow, am I dumb?"

Marco shakes his head "No, I could understand you two were dating before you met me, if I was still hung up on a ex I would do the same..maybe I could get you a new headband? Would it help you move on?" I shrugged "Sure..at least I will keep my mind off him" Marco nods and we're at my front gate "Bye Marco. Thanks means a lot" I hugged him and ran off and he waved and continued walking to his house and I entered my giant empty..house?

I noticed how trashed my living room is and has bags of chips and pillows everywhere and I grabbed a vase and carried it while I walk closer to the couch as I was going to attack "Hey! It's me cousin Comet!" I sigh and put down the vase "You scared me you turd!" He laughed and tackled me on the couch "Sorry, aunt moon said since your lonely that you should have at least a family member to make you feel better, so I'm staying and attending your school, isn't that great?"

I smiled and tackled him and screamed of joy "Yay! I have cousin comet with me!" He chuckles "Yeah, I start tomorrow..should I know any new friends you made?" I nod "Yeah I have a best friend named Marco and some others but I'm mostly with him" comet gave me a devious look "Do you like him..star?" I blushed and crossed my arms "Of course not! He's dating someone already, I'm the one that help him get the girl.." comet soften his expression

"I might be oblivious but I know you like him Star, you look sad when you just said that" comet was so right, I regret even helping get with Jackie but he liked her first then me "Yeah..I might have a tiny crush on him" comet smirked "Tiny?" I sigh "Okay, Major but I can't do anything, he's getting closer with her and he's going on a date with her this week" comet looked around and put on his hat that had devil horns on them, "Is that from Tori?" He nods

"Yeah..I want to get a new one so I can move on, I kinda like my best friend Marci back home, but she's into jack ugh so annoying, you know guys and girls are the same when it comes to a person they like, like you and Marco, ots just like me and Marci, we might like them and all but we will never end up with people like them" comet lay back on the couch and I did the same, what if comet is right?

We are just best friends with the people we like and we can never be anything more..I shake the thought and grabbed the chips he was eating "What am I going to do? As soon as Marco gets with Jackie he'll hang out with her all the time and forget me" comet lay his head on my shoulder and kissed my hand "Hey, he'll never forget you. I promise you that, your his go to person, the one he can count on, don't overlook it" he lays his head back and I look at the screen and it's cartoons, I don't want Marco to forget me..
