I woke full of energy because today I will go up to Jackie and act calm and cool for her to like me instead of laughing for being a fool, I run downstairs to eat breakfast and see mom making pancakes "Morning mom" she looks back and smiles and hands me plate "Morning honey, you seem happier was it of your friend yesterday?" I smiled "Yeah, Star helped tried talking to a girl I like, she's a lifesaver"

my mom nods "Oh..well I think Star is pretty too, if that other girl doesn't work out try with her?" I choked on my pancakes "Mom! Me and Star are just friends and plus I think she just broke up with someone, I'm not interested in finding out, he could be a jealous ex for all I know" she giggled and kiss my head "I was just saying, have fun at school honey, love you" I rolled my eyes "Love you too"

When I walked down to stars house was she was already waiting for me with what looks like a bagel with eggs and cheese "Morning..Marco" she said with her mouth full, kinda gross "Morning Star, did you wake up late or something?" She nods and we walk to school quietly because I told her to eat before she talks "So, you hyped up for talking to Jackie now?" I nodded "I'm so ready for this" as I closed my locker Jackie started walking towards her locker and it was my chance "Go get it tiger"

star smiled giving me thumbs up and I took a deep breath, just pretend it's Star, normal, act normal "Oh morning Marco" Jackie said smiling at me "Hey Jackie, how are you this morning?" She giggled "Good, seems you can talk to me in full sentences, I'm impressed" I smirked "Yeah, I've been practicing, it kinda paid off" she laughs and touches my shoulder "Wow, you work out? I could feel your muscles" I nod "Yeah, on my free time" she blushed "Hey, I'm having a party this weekend since my parents are out of town, want to come?" She just invited me to a party "Sure sounds great"

she smiles "You can bring the new girl too, later Marco" she hugs me and waves as she walks away and I hold my chest and Star comes and scares me "Marco you did it! I'm so proud of you!" I laugh "Yeah thanks for your help star, oh we got invited to a party she's throwing, so I might need my wing man I mean wing woman if that's cool with you?" She smiled "Of course it is! Ah I can't wait I've been waiting for a party. I have to prepare you for what happens at teens party! Yay! After school my place don't forget!"

I nod and we head to class, I still can't believe I didn't faint when I spoke to Jackie, I sat at my desk and looked in front of me, Jackie looking at Justin..wait what?! Justin?! She's touching his shoulder too, what does she do that with everyone? I lay my head down and thought of something to get her attention at the party this weekend, I'm not losing to Justin..

Star Pov
I am so pumped for this weekend, party at Jackie's! And also to get Marco to be closer with..Jackie? I look to my right and I see her talking to Justin, she was touching his shoulder like she did with Marco, oh no he's gonna feel bad and is gonna get competitive and I'm his wing woman, as I look behind Marco looks confused and kinda hurt almost, I sent him a text 'You okay? :/ ' he looked at his phone and smiled 'Yeah, just got competition now but don't worry I got this' oh Marco I hope you do..

as we walked to lunch I heard like a keytiar playing in the distance and I looked around and I saw people covering their ears even Marco "Great he's playing again" he said groaning and I look where everyone was looking a saying rude comments and I see this guy on top of a broken down car and he's playing and he looks cute in a bad boy kinda way, his uniform tie is lose and his sleeves are kinda ripped and so are his pants, he's awesome

"Marco who's that?" He looks at me and takes his hands of his ear "That's Oskar Greason, he's a junior stay away from him" I kept looking at him with hearts in my eyes "He looks cool, I should go up and say hi" as I went to run up to him Marco held me back "Hey, what gives?" He blushed and let's go "Star he doesn't really talk to anyone, he just stays there while people leave and come, don't start falling for him because he won't like you back" I rolled my eyes and move closer to Oskar. And I leave my number on his keyboard guitar, and run back to Marco

"See, I didn't talk to him. I just left my number and hope he texts back" as I look back I blush at Oskar, he's really dreamy and I sit down and play with my food "Star that's gross" I stop and look at what I did, and it was just a heart with my name and Oskar and I squeal "I can't help it. I think I have a crush on him..do you think he'll be at he party?" Marco shakes his head "I'll doubt it, but knowing Jackie, she'll invite him" I just kept day dreaming of him and me together..

As school ended we walked by Oskar and I blushed and waved and he nods and I just squeal and Marco just rolls his eyes "Hey, I like someone too and I'm helping you as a good friend" he nods "I know, and as the friend I am I'm warning you, he's not the one for you, he flirts with every girl, he can't just pick one Star but don't say I warned you" I cross my arms and we enter my giant empty house and go straight into my bedroom and I throw my stuff on the ground and jump on my bed and look at my phone for him to text me or even call "Um star don't you want to prepare me for the party?"

"In a minute Marco, do some homework while I wait for his text or call.." I could tell Marco rolled his eyes at me but I didn't care and K kept tapping my phone if he sent me anything but nothing "Star I'm going home, it's like 10 pm and I don't want my parents to worry, we'll just practice tomorrow I guess?" I nod sadly "Okay.." he sits next to me and pull me into a hug "It's okay Star, he's not worth it" I hold on Marco for a bit before he goes "Thanks, sorry for not preparing you" he smiles "It's cool. We have 2 days before then, night Star" he walks out my room and I sit there looking down at my phone and I get mad and toss it on my bed and go look for something to eat..I guess I'm not worth his time..
