Yi Mari woke up with a crick in her back, she groaned and tried to move every appendage before sitting up on the edge of the bed. Ji-yeong was still asleep so she had to be quiet or the girl would wake up. Mari thought of how easy it would be to just run away right now so that Ji-yeong doesn't have to worry about her anymore but she couldn't do that, not to her best friend.

She scrubbed a hand across her face as she sat on the edge of the bed, she let out a small sigh as she stood up and grabbed her coat that was resting on the back of a chair. They didn't have enough food for breakfast and they certainly didn't have any money so the only way for Mari to eat this morning so if Mari was to steal it so that's what she was going to do. Luckily she didn't have to for this morning as the hotel they were staying at had free breakfast so Mari was definitely going to take advantage and maybe even see if she can take off with some leftovers so they don't have to go hungry.

"Where are you going?" Ji-yeong asked with her sleepy face that always made Mari's stomach woosh. "Uh, just breakfast. The hotel is doing free breakfast right now so I'm going to go get some." Mari rubbed her hands together as she looked at Ji-yeong who squinted at Mari before she sat up and moved her legs to the edge so she can get up. "What are you doing?" Mari says carefully when she notices that Ji-yeong was getting up. "I'm going with you, we have the bento container from last night so if you put it in your coat we can sneak food out easier because I noticed last night that the workers didn't pay attention because when I came in they didn't pay no mind." Ji-yeong walked over to the little table that was across from their bed and grabbed the bento container before she walked to the bathroom with it in hand, Mari ran a hand through her hair as she can hear the running water which meant that Ji-yeong was cleaning it.

Ji-yeong came out of the bathroom with the bento box in one hand and a paper towel in the other as she was drying it so it would be clean. "Are you ready?" Ji-yeong asks as she's slipping her shoes on, Mari sighs before nodding and walks towards the door and slips her shoes on when they were at arm's length. "Put this under your coat." Ji-yeong handed her the box before she opened the door. Mari pressed her lips together as she did what Ji-yeong instructed.

She made a pocket with the end of her coat so she could place the box there without her worrying if it would fall out, she walked through the door after Ji-yeong opened it for her. She followed her to the little breakfast nook which luckily for them wasn't busy so they could sneak food out without the worry of being caught. Mari glanced at the security cameras and noticed that they were pointing to the buffet so it would be easier for them to sneak food rather than when they were eating. "Make sure the receptionist isn't looking," Mari muttered to Ji-yeong who was right next to her. "I think you're fine, he's not even at the desk," Ji-yeong said voice coated in amusement.

Mari rolled her eyes playfully but grabbed the box from her jacket and started to load as much as she could whether that would be eggs or sausage, they grabbed food that was more solid rather than beans which definitely would've spilled all over Mari's jacket. "Hand me the keys and I'll put this back in the room," Ji-yeong said grabbing the box from Mari's hand, she took a deep breath but handed it over, Mari watched as Ji-yeong slipped it into her shirt and held her stomach so it wouldn't fall out.

Once Ji-yeong got out of her view Mari grabbed a plate and started to load it up with all the breakfast foods that she likes. By the time Ji-yeong got back, Mari had a full plate. "Are you gonna be able to eat that?" Ji-yeong asks voice coated in amusement as she watched Mari carry it to the table closet to the kitchen. "I can try," Mari smirked as she grabbed a spoonful of beans and put it in her mouth.

It wasn't the best-tasting breakfast Mari has ever had by no means but it was the best breakfast she's had in a while, which is saying something. She melted when she tried the tofu, by the time she finished everything on her plate she was full but that was a good feeling rather than going hungry. "Do we have enough money for another night?" Mari asks folding her arms in front of her stomach. "Yea, I think we will since we didn't have to pay for breakfast. I just wish that there was a way to get back into the games. It's a real shame." Mari nodded at Ji-yeong in agreement.

But there was a way to get back into the games because Mari saw the cards after they received a knock on the door that night. No one was there but the cards had fallen off of the handle when Mari turned it. "Ji-yeong, we can get back in." Mari looked behind her to Ji-yeong who was peering over her shoulder. "Here, call it. Fuck room charges." Ji-yeong gestured toward the phone that was in the room. Mari let out a sigh as she dialed the number, her hands shook as she waited for someone to pick up. Just like the first time they were told to stand out on the side of the road and wait for someone to pick them up.

Ji-yeong collected everything they needed and left behind the box full of breakfast foods before rushing out the door with Mari on her heels, they didn't bother checking out knowing that the man would get the hint tomorrow. "Do you think they're coming?" Mari asked Ji-yeong after a few minutes of waiting by the road. But before Ji-yeong could answer they were both blinded by car lights, Mari winced and lifted her arm over her head to shield the light.

The back door started to open and Ji-yeong looked at Mari before stepping into the van and Mari followed her, she noticed that no one else was in this van so they just had to themselves. Mari reached over and grabbed Ji-yeong's hand before everything got foggy and went dark.
