Second chapter!!! 

Also should've mentioned that this will have references to Dana Joins The Team parts 1 and 2.

Dana

I sat there crying. Ryan and Jason had left. I ran away from the battle area. I decided to head back to the hideout.

When I got there, Van Dine was waiting for me. I gulped and approached him nervously. "Hello sir." I said shakily.  "Dabby told me what you did." he said without even greeting me back. That's Van Dine for you.

I nodded and whispered, "I...I don't know what came over me sir. I won't happen again." I promised that. He nodded and disappeared. Before disappearing fully, he breathed out, "It better not...or else." I shivered.

I thought maybe Jason could help me. I pushed that thought down. "He's the enemy." I whispered to myself. "And Van Dine would be really mad." But I at least had to try. I ran out of the hideout, heading towards Jason's school.

I saw the school building. I approached the gate, catching my breath. It was locked. "Guess there's no school today." I said. I then turned around to head back, but when I did,  I saw three Earthlings. Two boys and one girl. I instantly had a crush on the girl. She had pink hair and a very good outfit. They started to run. "Hey, wait!" I called after them. They didn't stop, so I chased after them.

I finally reached an alley. "I swear she went in here." I whispered. "Yeah, you found me." someone said behind me. I turned to see that breathtakingly beautiful girl. "H-hi." I hated myself for stuttering. "Hi." she greeted me back, smiling. I grinned back. I recognized her as Juliet, Jason's friend. "You wanted to ask something, right?" she asked. I nodded, unable to speak at her beauty. "Alright, what is it?" she asked. "I need to find Jason." I replied, relieved I didn't stutter. "Alright! Follow me!"  she responded cheerfully. I was glad she didn't ask any questions, even though I knew she knew about the Mecardimals.

We went to a house. "This is Jason's house." she said. I nodded, stepping forward. Just then, Jason came rushing out, his Mecardimals behind him. "Let her go!" he shouted. I was confused. "What do you mean?" I asked him. "The guys said you kidnapped Juliet, Dana." he replied, as confused as I am. "Oh. Well she didn't." Juliet stated. I turned to her and smiled. Thanks, I mouthed. You're welcome, she mouthed back. "Well ask him!" she said. "N-No. I can't!" I said and ran.

Juliet

"Dana!" I ran after her, calling her name. The moment I saw her, I fell in love with her. I first fell in love with Jason, but when I told him, he said he was gay and in love with someone else. I was heartbroken, but now I found my new love.

The whole time I chased her, I kept thinking about how much I loved her. I was heartbroken to see her sad.

I finally found her crying in the same alley we met in. I approached her slowly. "Hey, you okay?" I asked her gently. She nodded. I put my hands on her shoulders. Come on, let's walk." I told her. She stood up and walked over to the entrance of the alley. I took her hand absentmindedly and dragged her to the sidewalk. I didn't notice the blush on her face.

"Hey Jason." I saw the brunette with his boyfriend on a bench in the park. Jason seemed to be very sad about something. He quickly covered this up when he saw us. "Hey Dana, Juliet." His gaze then lowered to our hands. He smirked. "Wow Juliet." he said casually. "Didn't know you had a girlfriend." I looked at my hand. It was entwined with Dana's. I looked up at my crush's face and saw her blush. Jerking my hand away, I said, 'We're not girlfriends!" As much as that hurt, I had to say it.

"Jason! Canyouhelpmegetmybrotherback?" Dana blurted out suddenly and quickly. "What?" he asked, confused. "Can you help me get my brother back?" she said, much quieter this time. "Sure!" he replied, smiling.

Jason

I didn't have a problem helping Dana. We were the good guys, after all. We help everyone, friend or foe.

"Are you sure, Jason?" Ryan asked. I turned to my boyfriend. "Trust me." I replied, kissing his cheek. "Let's go." he said. I nodded. "Meet us at the base, you two!" I called to Juliet and Dana.

The whole walk back, I let my thoughts of Juliana (the ship name I made for them) run wild. I smiled. Ryan noticed this. "What's got you so happy?" he asked. I told him what I thought of the two girls. "I see." he said. "Let's get them together!"

We arrived at the base. Isobel and the Mecardimals were waiting. We quickly told them our Juliana master plan. I heard footsteps. "They're coming!" Evan whisper-shouted. I squealed out of excitement and everyone laughed. We played it cool and soon, they arrived.

Juliet

"Hey guys!" I said cheerfully. "Oh hey!" Jason greeted. "Jason! I need you!" Ryan called. "Be right back." he said, running around a corner. I was alone with Dana. Now was my chance. "Hey Dana, I-" I started, but my phone pinged. It was from my mom. Where are you!?! Get home NOW. I sighed. I missed my chance. "I have to go." I finished. I exited the base and started running home. I looked back, only to see her disappointed face. I looked back and whispered, "I love you."

Jason

I groaned. "Come on!" I said. "It could've worked!" Ryan chuckled. "Well, at least we tried, Jase." I sighed. "I guess." He smiled. "Let's go on a walk or something," he said, stretching. "I'm tired." I giggled and nodded while Isobel just nodded.

We decided to stroll the streets. We passed stores and the school and even Juliet's house. When will you tell Dana you love her? I thought as we passed by the pink-haired girl's house.

We arrived at the park. "Let's go back." I said. Isobel and Ryan nodded.Just then, Van Dine appeared from around a corner. I felt Evan press himself into my neck. He was still terrified of all the events that happened-getting captured and all that.

I reached up and grabbed him, putting him in my palm. I stroked him, feeling him shake in fright and nervousness. I glared at Van Dine and started walking back home. Van Dine just looked at me. No expression. Just blank.

I set Evan on the table when we got back to the base. He just jumped back on me. I smiled fondly at him and put him in my hand. "You're scared." I said. "Very." he responded. I raised my hand to neck-level. It was far enough from my neck to see the blue and yellow Mecardimal. I then raised  it to eye-level. "Don't be." I whispered, stroking. him. "I won't let anything happen to you." Evan stayed silent, but then decided to talk. "Jason, I-" he started, but I cut him off. "Shh." I whispered. "Just rest. You've had panic in your system. It'll go away  with rest." He reluctantly agreed. "But only if it's on your shoulder." he said firmly. I nodded and placed him on my shoulder. He instantly pressed closer to my neck. I smiled as I felt him slowly fall asleep.

Isobel

I saw Jason come outside. He smiled when he saw me. "Hi Jason!" I greeted. He waved and pushed a finger to his lips. Why was he asking me to shush? I gave him a puzzled look, but he just pointed to his shoulder. I saw Evan there, sleeping soundly. I smiled and nodded. We walked to the others and Jason put a finger to his lips when he saw them. Dana and Juliet were there too.

I looked at Ryan and Jason, who both nodded.

"Hey Mecardimals!" Jason called. "Time to train a little more!"

Okay so I think the next chapter is the last one.

I think when I write random adventure or whatnot the book will be longer.
