I was dashing through the amazon jungle. Apparently people have been reporting about the plant life attacking them. However the ones who reported it were cutting down the trees and were immediately arrested for it.

"I wonder, is this caused by another super powered individual like Draco?" I asked myself. Said man dragon was now sitting in his room relaxing, his sister was dancing around.

I had stopped in front of a large ancient tree. "Looks and feels like the source" I said. I felt a presence near me, I used my sonar and spotted multiple plant roots coming towards me.

I instantly reacted and went intangible, in doing so the roots went through me. I then flew upwards and used my own plant powers to take control over them.

However I felt that whatever force that was controlling the plants wasn't giving up without a fight. I decided to find the source of the power. So I flew up higher and tried to find it.

"Come down and face me" I heard a female voice said. I slowly flew down and spotted a girl with green hair with flowers growing from it. She also had turned her legs green and root like stretching down to the green giving her some elevation.

"Who are you and what are you doing in the amazon?" She asked. "Just looking for some people with unique powers" I answered. "Originally I was looking for robot drones but now I'm meeting super powered people" I said.

The girl had went back down to the ground. "Well my name is flora, I am the guardian of the jungle and all plant life" she said. "Like plants I can regenerate from damage" she said demonstrating by ripping her arm off and it grew back.

"And I also have elasticity abilities" she said then turned her arms into vines and stretched them towards a nearby branch. "Cool, I have tons of powers and abilities as well" I said growing to 50 feet tall.

"That plus more" I said, I used telepathy to give her more information. "You are indeed a noble individual" she said kneeling. "It is good to meet a fellow earth defender, maybe we can work together sometime" she said.

"I was actually thinking we could work together. I was thinking of creating a team" I said. "You want me to join you?" She asked. "Only if you want to" I said.

She thought for a while, "I'll think about it" she said. Flora then turned her attention to some men that I knew reported the attacking plants.

"Alright boys, all we have to do is to get a sample of the plants to prove that the military is pumping steroids into them and we're free to level" one said.

"As if I scanned all the plant life, there isn't a trace of steroid in the surrounding flora" I said. I then saw the same man take out a needle. "And if there isn't any we'll just put this in" he said before tearing off a branch and pumping steroids into the plant.

"So that was his plan" I said, "he was going to bring in a sample of a plant that he manually injected steroids in" I said. Flora clenched her fist and wrapped a mask made of leaves around her face.

"No one is going to level my jungle while I'm on the job" she said. Flora then charged at the men she turned her arms into whips. "Shinasen toque wo de Nani" she said in Japanese then Spanish then Chinese and after Hawaiian.

"Whoa who the hell is that" on worker said before Flora hit him with her whip arm. A few men charged at her and dog piled her. To their demise she grew multiple venom filled thorns around her.

They all jump off screaming in pain. "Oh well when, you get lemons, you tear me down" the supervisor said riding a giant mech suit equipped with hand mounted saw blades.

"Wrong saying, also as the guardian of the planet I'm obliged to tear your machine apart" I said readying my claws.

I saw flora launch herself at the robot. "Leave this jungle and never return" she said before a thousand brambles erupted from the ground. She screamed and shot the brambles down.

The mech suit shot an ice blast towards the plants and it also hit Flora. She fell back down to earth shivering. "So... cold..." she whimpered. "Like a plant the cold kills" the worker said before raising his foot.

I sped in and grabbed her. Holding her bridal style and getting her to a safe place. But not before encasing him in a large block of amber.

Ability: amber prison
Use: allows user to trap a target or multiple in a prison of an amber like substance. Doing this immobilizes an opponent, subduing them for a long time. Only the one who used the ability can remove the amber.

After an hour I warmed Flora up enough to wake up. "Ouch what happened" she asked as she looked around her jungle sleeping on a bed of leaves. "A freeze blast that's what" I answered. "That mech suit blasted you with a stream of concentrated ice and nearly killed you with one stomp" I answered.

She started to rise up, "thank you surly if you weren't here I could've died today" she said. "It's what I do so it's no problem" I said. We then heard a loud sound.

After getting back to the edge of the jungle where we encountered the men, I saw that he was very close to freedom. "He's going to escape" I heard Flora say. "Not for long" I replied.

Before he could break out of his amber casing, his men were tripped over and dragged underneath the ground. Their visible heads were then swallowed by large Venus flytraps.

I then landed on top of the mech suit, "time for the jungle to fight back" I said ripping it open and throwing him out. "Time to put some wear on this machine" I said.

I put my hand on the mech and dug my claws in. At that moment the whole things started rusting up and weakening.

Ability: oxidizing touch
Use: allows the user to weaken any metal object. The process starts by the user touching any type of metal. Then they release an oxidizing chemical that rusts any metal it comes into contact with and it spreads around.

The rusting effect my claws did allowed me to weaken the mech enough to easily tear it apart. I gave a thumbs up and Flora rose from the ground standing on a large flower.

"Now as I said leave the jungle and never return" she demanded. "I have a job to do and I'm not going to stop" he said. "So be it" Flora said before she jumped down and charged towards him.

Flora lashed her vine arm at him again. This time it wrapped around his torso and fashioned itself into the form of a harness. He then grabbed on to her arm. "Got you" he said.

Flora smirked, "that would be the other way around" she said. Her arm then erupted with thorns. They anchored themselves into the man's torso making it hard for him to escape.

"Now as I said, leave" Flora yelled before flailing him around. Swinging him around and then she threw him up. Flora retracted her arm and raised a giant Venus flytrap in the air.

The oversized carnivorous plant swallowed him up along with tore up the rest of the lumber equipment. I landed besides Flora, "nice job" I said. She looked at me and smiled.

After that whole thing we called the EPA and dropped them off at the police station. Let's say the fly trap did not appreciate that. Neither did I because it threw up on me.

The next day the government turned Flora's jungle into a nature reserve in order for her to protect it more easily. "Hey I wanted to thank you for everything you've done for me" she said.

"Like I said it's nothing" I said, "still I want to make it up to you" Flora said. "I want to join your team". I was shocked, then took her hand. "Thank you Flora, I can't wait tonight by your side" I said.

She then told me of her origin. Apparently she likes plants. Even enough to try and stop a forest fire on her own. She was actually defending a large ancient tree from burning down. As a reward for her compassion for plants and animals living in the jungle the tree gave her plant based powers.

She used her new powers to put out the fire using multiple water soaked vines and beat the fire down. She intern became the guardian of all plant life. The plants themselves also allow her to learn almost any skill. That explains her bilingual speech.
