After a while, at around 5 o'clock, Jennifer decided that we should leave. We obviously left the horses at the guest stable because Jenny had another competition the next day. Also, she didn't feel in the condition to drive them back home even though her medecine was finally fully working now.

On our way back to the stables, Jennifer wanted to know every single thing about me and Tim. She literally had no clue about what was going on.

I was sitting on the passenger seat of the car, completely helpless. I didn't want to answer every single question she had asked me in the past minutes but there was no escape. "So, where do you know him from?" I tried to avoid the question but Jennifer didn't peg away. I never wanted to tell this story to anybody but she didn't care at all. "I met him three months ago at a tournament. We didn't really talk there but I wanted to get to know him. So I googled him..." Jennifer laughed. "Yeah, since then we've been chatting from time to time." Telling all this was embarrassing. But I left the part away of how I managed to get his phone number. For Tim this must've been the strangest thing that had ever happened to him. I received his phone number over a lot of other contacts, and they also thought that I was a really weird kid.

Jennifer wasn't satisfied with this piece of information. She wanted to know more and more, mostly some unimportant detail. Then she asked this question: "So... what is going on between you guys then?" I couldn't give her a specific answer because I myself actually didn't know. Only I could tell her that he made me nervous, but also I didn't want him to notice me. "Oh that's why you were that weird all the time", she understood. "But still that's so strange..." I awkwardly blushed. "Yes, I know. I was like... embarrassed... a lot..."

"So you didn't talk to him even though he turned around three times?!", she asked shocked "oh god you're so stupid!" Although I totally knew that she was right, this critism made me feel very uncomftable. I was never the person who accepted doing mistakes very well. "What would you have done if he wouldn't have talked to you?!" It was still unbelievable for her. "Wasted another chance, I guess?", I answered unsurely. "What means another?" she almost screamed. Jenny totally felt with me and couldn't understand my actions. "I... I saw him at some other jumping tournaments this summer" I admitted "it was never the right moment. He always was with some friends or even some stupid girls." "How many times?" she enquired and totally ignored the second part of my sentence. "Four times?!" Jenny slapped me on the head, for my dumbness. And it was deserved. "I'm not gonna comment this or I will overreact" she informed me.

She fully concentrated on the traffic now but I could see that little smile on her face. "My sweety is finally interested in some guy", she murmured. I turned the radio up and started to sing along to the songs. Soon, Jennifer joined me. It was so much fun. I was so happy and couldn't believe what had happened today. And also, what was going to happen tonight. When I would meet Tim for the aftershow party.
