I had totally lost hope in this night. For over thirty minutes now I must've been sitting here "alone". No one was there. It felt like being completely isolated, as if I was the only person here., but actually I was sitting next to Jennifer and her new male friend. However they didn't ever look at me. It was like they hadn't even realized I was there. So far, this whole night had been a disappointement and honestly I didn't think it would change. Whilst everyone was dancing I just couldn't get my mood up. I was just so bored and thoughtful now since I had Tim and his new girl in mind. So I was just starring in my full glass of alcohol.

Suddenly, someone tapped me on the shoulder which pulled me out of my deep thoughts. Shockedly I turned around "Hm?" I asked but I didn't really pay attention to who was standing next to me. Only I saw a blurred silhouette. But it seemed so familiar. Suddenly it came over me. I blinked, then a second, and finally a third time until I could see everything sharp again. It was no one else than Tim. He went through his hair and said smiling: "Hey."

Although I was kind of happy to see him, I had all these pictures of him and this girl in my head. I couldn't get them out of there. So I wasn't very enthusiastic about seeing him. "What do you want? I said unfriendly. He was the last person I wanted to see right now. Kind of...

He was irritated by my reaction. "Hanging out with you?" He pretented to have no idea why I was so annoyed. "Well, I'm not in the mood for 'hanging out'!" I explained to him harshly and insisted to turn back around.
"Hey, wait, what's your problem?" he wanted to know confusedly. Being asked that question made me very aggressive. So I grabbed his arm and pulled him out of the party tent because I didn't want to cause attention.
As soon as we arrived outside I accused him loudly: "You wanna know what is wrong? Well I should ask you the same fucking question! You wanted to meet me tonight so why did you leave me waiting?! You left me waiting for fucking two and a half hours!!" Tim finally had realised that this wasn't a joke and that I was terribly serious. Still he stayed very calm but that obviously made me even more angry. "I probably arrived after you" he defended himself.
"You arrived after me?! Oh Tim, don't fucking ever lie to me! I've seen you with this other girl, you've been here the whole evening!" I screamed at him "I saw you, I fucking saw you!" I got so angry that my eyes got watery. But I couldn't show any weaknesses so I tried to blink them away.

He just looked at me as if I was crazy. And maybe I was, but in this moment I just had to shout out all my feelings. "Are you just using her as you're using me?! Have you just been lying to be the whole fucking time Tim?!!" Silence. The music in the tent I had completey faded out. It felt like seconds of him not saying anything so I turned around and walked away from him.
