Jungkook walks into class, dragging his feet on the floor, he wasn't able to sleep at all, between his thoughts and the small nap he took before taking out the trash-which took away his willingness to sleep- he was up most of the night. He takes his seat next to Taehyung who is surprised he even showed up.

"I texted you last night" Taehyung says then he turns his head to Jungkook for a response. 

"My phone died" Jungkook bluntly states not looking Taehyung in the eyes but moving his face enough so that Taehyung can read his lips. 

Jungkook looks straight ahead which he wishes he didn't as he's now making eye contact with Tao. 

Tao remembers the moment from the day before, wondering if Jungkook remembered him but doubting it because Jungkook seemed so out of place. Feeling awkward Tao looks away. 

The teacher walks in and Tao gets ready to sign every word, The lessons continue with Tao signing every word but feeling a pair of eyes on him which aren't Taehyung's, yes Taehyung is paying attention but every time Tao tries looking at Taehyung, he catches Jungkook's glare from besides him. 

The bell rings for lunch and Jungkook is the first to leave the classroom not waiting for Taehyung. He grabs a tray and is second in the lunch line. He points to a few random dishes and the lady puts them on his plate, he puts in his pin and then slightly bows at the lunch lady.before going to the table he always sits at. He sits down across from Yoongi who he hasn't spoken to since he ran away. 

"You know, I really hate this" Yoongi speaks up breaking the silence, "Whats gotten into you, whats gotten into my best friend? You're overreacting and I mean more than normally, is it him? Because Taehyung is a nice guy and I think you're doing this to yourself, its not him" He adds

"Im sorry I took my emotions out on you and Namjoon but why are you picking a side? And why isn't it mine?" Jungkook asks pushing his tray forward. He sees Namjoon walking in and waves at him, "Hey Namjoon I bought you food for an apology" He states and Namjoon excitedly walks over. 

"I knew I loved you man" Namjoon says putting Jungkook into a tight hug, Jungkook doesn't hug back, unable to move with no intention on hugging back anyways.  Namjoon sits down next to Jungkook who is still standing and pulls the tray closer to him.

"I didn't mean to make it sound like that Jungkook" Yoongi says going back to their conversation before Jungkook saw Namjoon. 

"Why are you standing?" Namjoon asks his voice muffled due to the food he stuffed in his mouth. 

Jungkook was about to leave but sits down not wanting to put energy into going anywhere.

Taehyung walks in and happily sits on the other side of Jungkook, Tao sits next to Yoongi, which is in front of Taehyung. 

Taehyung puts his paper bag lunch on the table 

"Did you not get anything to eat? Here have this" Taehyung says taking out a container filled with rice and chicken and some chopsticks not waiting for Jungkook to answer. He opens the cover and puts it in front of him. Jungkook is about to reject the offer but then realizes the more he's close with Taehyung the less Tao will think he has a chance, at least this is all what Jungkook thinks. 

"Thank you" He signs and smiles happily at Taehyung, he starts eating as Taehyung eats something else he packed for himself. Jungkook from time to time would look at Tao from the corner of his eyes and for the rest of the day did whatever he could to avoid Tao.

Jungkook excuses himself to go back to class early and when he sits down he looks up to see Tao walking up to him. 

"Hey Jungkook" Tao says with a smile 

"Uh hi" Jungkook says trying to seem nice 

"Taehyung has told me you are learning some sign language" he tries to start a conversation.

Tao sits in front in front of him and they are now face to face. 

"Yeah" Jungkook says brushing off the question. He wanted to brag about how he is learning because of how much he cares for Taehyung but then he remembered he doesn't really want to talk to Tao. The conversation just ends there as class begins and all the others come in. 

After a long day of classes Tao signs to Taehyung 

"I don't understand, does Jungkook hate me?" He asks as Taehyung shakes his head no, "he's just being Jungkook, ignore him" Taehyung signs and Tao just gives him a small smile. 

Jungkook and Taehyung get on the bus, the usual, Sitting just enjoying each others company. Taehyung got off at a different spot to go to the doctors for an ear check up and Jungkook got off at the apartment complex. He doesn't even have time to change out of his school uniform before the doorbell goes off. 

Jungkook confused goes to open it, he's shocked to see Tao standing right in front of him.

"Hi, The other day when I was with Taehyung, I noticed you walk out of this door" Tao says and he scratches the back of his neck nervously. 

"Remember you almost fell down the stairs?" Tao asks and Jungkook thinks about it. It takes him a few seconds until he remembers the moment from when he was half asleep. 

"Oh, Thank you" He says politely bowing a bit, feeling ashamed for glaring at someone that actually is nice. But Jungkook doesn't fully regret glaring, he still doesn't know if he can trust Tao around Taehyung. 

"Its really no problem" Tao's cheeks turn a light shade of pink, "This might be so weird and out of place" he continues and Jungkook listens, wondering what Tao will say, will he ask about Taehyung? Will he ask if Taehyung is single? Jungkook thinks the worst wondering what he will say, does he come out and say that Taehyung is taken. 

"I was.. Uh just wondering if one day you'd want to see a movie with me" Tao says slowly, asking the younger boy on a date. 

Ever since Tao saw Jungkook all he could think about was his face and his hair. But Jungkook's glares made him feel uneasy, could it be that he hated him, did he do something wrong. "Jungkook lives over there?" He asked Taehyung when he was over the day before Taehyung just signed a yes before turning away. Tao wanted to ask more about Jungkook but restricted himself to not seem so desperate. Plus he thought it would be weird to ask Taehyung about his friend.
