A few weeks later...

KnockOut was cleaning his medbay, having nothing to do at all. He sighs, leaning against the medical berth. He looks down, his optics filled with sorrow. He hasn't seen Illusion after what happened. Well, not exactly see her. He heard her yelling nearly every day with Megatron. At first, it was just them fighting over lying and all, but it started to escalate rapidly. At this point, they fought over EVERYTHING. He heard footsteps coming as he got up. He continued cleaning, his back facing against the door. "《KnockOut...》" His entire frame freezes. He turns around quickly, only for his optics to widen in shock. Illusion stood in front of him, dark energon leaking through her injuries. "Medical berth. NOW!" Illusion layer down as KnockOut comms Breakdown to hurry and prepare for surgery.

Illusion wakes up a few hours later, rubbing her helm as she ignores the pain. "《Ugh... well-》" She felt a cold slap hit her cheek, hard. "《WHAT THE FUCK KNOCK-》" "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!? I'VE BEEN FUCKING WORRIED!!!" Illusion's optics land on KnockOut's optics, energon tears rolling down his face. "《...dont cry》" She wiped the tears out of KnockOut face as his frame shook. "Don't you know how horrible I felt when you stopped showing up at all!?" KnockOut yelled. Illusion looks down, feeling guilty. "Not only do I get to see you again, but you came to me INJURED!" Illusion looks at him, her optics seeming to lose sympathy. "《It's not my fault you got sooo used to me, KnockOut!》" She spat at him, almost like venom. "DON'T MAKE ME THE BAD GUY HERE!!!" "《BUT AREN'T YOU ONE!?》" KnockOut smacks her again, but with more force. He pointed straight to the exit, yelling at her. "OUT!" Illusion scoffs, leaving. As soon as she was gone, he broke down to tears on his floor, energon tears seeming to fall everywhere.

A few hours later, Megatron ordered a meeting, EVERYONE'S presence was required. Starscream and Illusion stood next to each other, not saying anything. Starscream chuckled quietly as she glared at him. "Who knew that we were so close and now..." StarScream glares at her, disgusted. "We now hate each other...." She rolls her optics as she continues listening to the meeting. After the meeting ended, Illusion punched behind his helm as she chuckled. "《Later you slut...》" She walked away as StarScream rubbed the back of his helm, a small tear started forming.

Soundwave had his minicon being repaired by KnockOut after Illusion stomped on it after she got her in trouble with Megatron. "/is she okay?/" Soundwave asked, worried. "Done. Good as new..." KnockOut passed Lazerbeak back to Soundwave. "You're both here." They turn around to see StarScream standing there. "/what do you want StarScream?/" StarScream sighed heavily, leaning against the wall. "I want to talk about Illusion..." Soundwave and Knockout look at each other. "/she's not the same anymore.../" Soundwave said, petting Lazerbeak. "....we should talk to her." "/we should.../"

They all walked towards Illusion's quarters, seeming nervous. "Hey, Illusion!" No response. Starscream tries again but yells louder. "ILLUSION!!!" They heard nothing and decided to tear through the door. They look around, seeing the empty room. They suddenly see 2 d-pads on her berth. Soundwave grabs the first one. "/this is for Megatron.../"  He looks at the other one. "/this is for us.../"

The three sat together as they heard Megatron ordering for anyone to find Illusion. "/should we read it together...?/" Soundwave whispered. They nodded as they read the letter together.

My dear friends KnockOut, Starscream, and Soundwave,

I no longer can deal with the war, the lying, EVERYTHING. I must leave. I am sorry for the pain I put you through for the last few weeks. None of you deserved, especially you, StarScream. You will never see me again. If you do, I may be the enemy by then, since I will join the Autobots. I want you all to know that you are forever, my closest and greatest friends I ever had. I'm sorry...

They all broke down, crying to each other. Soundwave threw the d-pad, as he cried silently. "/she's gone..../"
