I graced this Earth with my presence
As the road of my life rolled down,
Little playful hands, tiny fighting legs
I quivered with murmuring sounds.

Time flew like an arrow
The tiny ball of life grew,
Different surroundings,  different rules
Everything around me was new.

I was taught to be
Skilled,Beautiful and Naive
In the sea of society
To behave as a calm wave.

But rules weren't same
For my father and brother,
They were asked to be rough and hard
Not submissive like me and my mother.

This small brain of mine
Just couldn't accept,
Why not give both of them
Same values and equal respect.

The coin of gender
Only had two faces,
There were people
Who didn't fit in these mazes.

These mazes were too small
To accept their beauty,
Strictly told to be a girl or a boy
Alas! This gender became a duty.

The world is blind
Just can see black and white ,
But the rainbow is unique
And the most alluring sight.

These baseless gender goals
Didn't even spare emotions,
Uniqueness of lovers
Faced different notions.

Love despises gender
As it bounds this feeling,
Separates souls and hearts
Cuz society doesn't find it appealing.

Every being deserves a life
A chance and a voice of resonance,
For once, step over black and white
Cuz a rainbow holds its own elegance.

If you feel happy
Just be yourself and speak,
Don't care about others
They may not accept as they are weak.

Blame this world
Which is a small nest,
Birds like you can't fit
As you are different from the rest.

Find your own sky
With no bounds and limits
Nurture your soul with love and compassion
As its Mesmerizing and Timid.
