I fell asleep that night after our texts. I woke up and I get dressed for work. Today I'll be driving to a new office, something about it holding the satellite communications for the drones that were built, I'm not completely sure.

I get dress into a light navy blue blouse and dark blue pants before slipping on a pair of black flats.
I step out of my apartment after grabbing a yogurt from the fridge. I store the thing in my purse along with a spoon before I start to walk to work.

I made it in front of the building of the office, I wait there before I see Daniel pull up with a driver in a grey car.
"Are we riding in this?" I ask him with a smile on my face, feeling a bit relieved that I didn't have to walk to the new location.

"Yeah, fancy isn't it? Get in" Daniel responded to my question with a goofy smile.

I hopped in the back seat of the car and buckled in next to Daniel.
We drove off and it took a whole hour to get the other place.
Daniel had a pile of file folders on his lap and he handed me one of the folders.
"Don't open it until we get off, I can better explain what's in it when he get inside" he said as we pulled up into the empty parking lot.

Why wasn't anyone there?

After a few minutes we entered the tall 5 story building and after I walked out of the elevator to the fifth floor, I look around and then back at Daniel who was behind me.

"Edith, this is all yours" Daniel spoke softly.

"Mr. Stark left all of this for you and I'm not entirely sure why he did, but in some paper work it's about hero work" he walked over to a table, placing down all the file folders onto it.

"I really don't know what the hero work is about, not really my job to explain but someone will come later but what I'm trying to explain is that, Edith, you're going to be completely in charge of all the systems. Stark was always impressed by your work and your skill that he wanted you to take control of it all, he trusts you and he knew how responsible you'll be" Daniel smiled at me as he made his way back to the elevator.

I stood there in the middle of the room, a room filled with nothing but screens and tech. I open the file folder in my hands and I read it. There are papers explain that I'll be working for

seriously?

I'll be working for Spider-man?

This isn't right? That guy is just a kid.

I raise my head up as if to ask a question but Daniel is gone, he left.

I sigh full of frustration and I walk over to the screens that flashed. All these years of my hard work is now going to be put into a child. I thought this is for me to run, all by myself but no, it wasn't.

I stay there for 3 hours, settling in and going through each computer seeing what I'm capable of. I'm sitting at the table and I hear the elevator doors open which makes me jump a little. I turn around and I'm greeted by a man in an eye patch.

Now this was all a weird exchange, he told me his name was Nick Fury, he also tells me I'm going to Venice with the one and only Peter Parker.
Something about me aiding him in a very important mission and they need me to help him.

It's what Stark wanted.
