Three days to go . We all know it Natalie turns out to be the kind of person who gets really anxious about these kind of things and at least twice a day my phone bings with a text that's just 5 days 4 hours 6 minutes and 18 seconds to state an example . And so I wonder into school that morning and spot them . Natalie , Sophie and eddy all together laughing and I feel a Lang of something maybe sadness perhaps Lonelyness and then a bigger rush of jealousy I don't have any friends not really . I mean there's always daisy a girl i've known for years but I sort of feel like I'm just following her and her friends around now .

That day I have rowing after school it's all girls so eddy can't go but Sophie and Natalie do a few others as well . Unfortunately it's another day when j end up with someone random as my partner . " I'm Chloé" she introduces herself " Elise" i respond before picking up one end of the double boat letting her silently know the conversation is over . She follows suit and I leave it at that a simple introduction to a girl I don't care about . But then I take a look at her she's quite good looking pale green eyes and dark brown almost black hair . Chloé I think hmm a pretty name " so what are your hobbies?" I ask her as we row off " I enjoy reading and writing poems" she says even though I can't see her I can picture the soft smile on her face smart though " that's nice" I say in response " what do you enjoy?" She asks . Although we start off with awkward conversation like that by the time we get back after we finish we're laughing together quiet happily .

We rush around with last minute preparations for the pride party . The guests ( gays) are waiting outside and we are tying down the last balloons " okay everyone DONE" we all stand back and put our hands up finished we quickly fix our dresses and suits before rushing to stand by the door to greet the guests .

An hour later we we're all split up everyone drinking punch or white wine . I sigh and turn to eddy " to never being able to find love" i say holding up my glass " to never being able to find love" he repeats holding his glass up to we cheers silently and then both chug our drinks " now off to try and break the curse" he said "same" we nod and turn away from each other . Then I spot her the girl I met yesterday Chloé in the corner " hey" I say making my way over " hey yourself" she smiles as I grab a new glass of wine before standing next to her " how many have you had?" She asked me " this will me the seventh" yeah okay I was drunk like very drunk.

Chloé pov
Seven drinks ! It's a wonder she's still standing as if she heard that she suddenly staggers and leans against the wall before downing the glass and slumping into sitting down on the floor back to the wall . Then again I think I'm not so sober myself i've had six . I slump next to her "oh hi!" She smiles at me " hi Elise" I smile back " I'm gay" she hiccups " me too" I say agreeing " then if your a gay girl and I'm a gay girl" she said " we should kiss!" She finally exclaims and smiling she leans over and takes my chin I smell alcohol on her as she gently pulls my face to her until our lips touch .

Elise pov
I'm kissing a girl . I repeat I'm kissing a girl ! Our lips move in sync slow and sweet until the need for air forces us apart . She smiles and lays her head on my shoulder wrapping her arm around me I smile stupidly as well so so happy . I don't know when we fell asleep I assume at the same time but I know what woke us up " do you two seriously sleep a whole night on the hall floor" eddy says shaking my shoulder . I roll over squinting at the light " shut up" I wave my hand around as if to hit him but it's slow and obvious " how much did you drink?" He laughs " too much" I respond groaning and rubbing my forehead " here you go and maybe wake up your girlfriend" he says handing a pot of pills over . I put two in my mouth and swallow them then turn and gently wake Chloé up .

" Chloé , Chloé hey" I say gently shaking her " I got medicine" I say rattling the bottle that made her groaning stop as she reached out for some . I handed her the pills and she took some before groaning  again and sitting up " how did we sleep on that floor" she stretched " I don't know but it's 8 and I need to dash because I said I'd eat breakfast with the rest of the leaders of this gay thing" I wave quickly as I rush towards the door.
