•The Master of Death and the Pistols•

It was a dark night, quiet and peaceful until a creature jumped through a window with a loud smash, the lights from the large mansion turning on and alarm bells going off.

The creature landed and opened the bag, revealing blue bright souls, it's long hooked nose digging into the back and it licked its lips, revealing its sharp fangs.

It got up and ran a few steps, holding onto its hat that covered most its face and suit that slowed it down, until two bullet shots, one light blue and the other purple, stopped it.

The creature turned around a glared.

There on top of the building was a shadowy figure, holding two, shiny silver guns with darker shaded spikes detailed into them. One had a few white lines on and the other had a paw print on.

The figure stood in front of the laughing moon, that bled from its mouth and so, the thing ran.

The shadowing figure smirked, making sure his cape was on tightly.

Running feet and gun shots, dodging into an alley and then a dead end.

"Butch Cassidy... It's all over." Janus said, raising his arms and letting the twin guns he was holding to morph into two boys with a flash of purple and light blue light.

"Master thief Cassidy! Your soul has become a kishin egg!" Yelled Janus, the two boys behind him, "and is pure evil!"

One male was at the far back, arms up diagonally, the other in the middle, bent over and arms to the side, slightly to the right and Janus kneeling arms low diagonally.

"And now we have come to claim it!" The three yelled.

The creature stared at them.

The one in the back had purple dyed hair, a purple ripped shirt and black and purple patched jacket with ripped jeans and black eyeshadow.

The one in the middle had round glasses, he looked like the kid in the far back, but had a blue shirt and a gray cardigan with paw prints on wrapped around his shoulders, khaki shorts, knee high socks and had adorable freckles.

The one on the floor was Janus, Lord Thomas' son. Ha wore a bowler hat, a gray undershirt with yellow lining and clips that extended to his thighs at the back, a black cape with a yellow lining, yellow cloves, and black pants. But, the most obvious thing about him was his face, one half had snake scales and the boy couldn't get rid of them. His eye was a different color to the other and was red and swollen, his lips extended largely as well, like a snake.

Butch Cassidy was not intimidated and it was clear.

Janus growled, noticing something off and clenched his fists, stood up and began stamping his foot and pointing at the boy in blue, "just look Patton! Your stance is off again! The two of you aren't in a line!"

"Oh!" Patton moved more to the right, grimacing and arms up apologetically, "I'm sorry Janus!"

"Uh? Janus? You really think now is the time to be worrying about this?" Asked the boy in purple.

"Yes, I do Virgil!" Janus groaned, "I want it to be perfect every time!"

Patton looked to the criminal, who looked at the sewer cover that had a skull on it.

"I know," Virgil replied, "but, do you think just once, maybe?"

Cassidy pulled the top off and began shoving the bag of souls into the sewer and began bouncing on it.

"Why is Cassidy bouncing on that bag?" Patton asked, as Janus was talking about the perfect balance.

Patton laughed and pointed at the criminal who disappeared down the sewer, "he ran away! He ran away!"

Janus gritted his teeth and turned to Patton, "Patton! Why can't you be quiet and listen when I'm talking to you! Is that so much to ask?!"

"Ok..." Patton said.

"Symmetry is key." Janus said, "everything must be aesthetically pleasing."

Virgil glared, "oh wonderful, here we go."

"That's why I use you both as twin pistols." He said, making his index and middle finger up and down in unison on both hands, "because when I use you both, I'm perfectly balanced."

Janus clenched his fists and looked down, "your human forms are so different though! Your clothing, style and height for example!" He suddenly grabbed their butt cheeks, "even your butts have different sizes!"

Virgil glared and punched Janus in the cheek, "excuse me for not being as perky as my little brother!" Janus yelled in pain, as Virgil continued to yell, "what right fo you have to talk about symmetry anyway?! Scales and different eye color on the right side of your face and not the left! Doesn't look very symmetrical to me!"

Janus froze and fell to the ground, beginning to pond of the floor crying, "you're right! I'm an abomination! I'm filthy and dirty! Unbalanced! Why must I only have half a face of scales! I'm garbage! Asymmetrical garbage! I want to die!"

Patton looked to Virgil, "Virgil! You know how he feels about this!"

"I know-"

"Clearly not! Thats exactly why he has OCD for symmetry you know that!"

Virgil looked down, "I know, I just said it... Pat, you can whale on me later, right now, Jan needs us."

Patton nodded, "alright kiddo."

The two where over by the crying boy in a second, kneeling on the floor.

"Now Janus, you can't forget you're a Lord can you?" Virgil said softly, "compared to that, what do scales matter?"

Patton rubber the boys back, "yeah Jan, you're not garbage. You've done so much good and garbage smells, and you don't smell. So, why don't we just try again, ok?"

Janus looked up, admiration in his eyes and thankfulness on his face, "you don't think I'm asymmetrical garbage really?"

The brothers smiled as they moved into view.

"No of course not." Smiled Virgil.

"Garbage is ew, and your not!" Patton offered gently.

Janus got up, dusting his knees and hands, "alright then!" He turned, "lets go report to my father."

Virgil sighed, 'not the sharpest tool in the shed.' He thought, 'these little rich brats are always so gullible.'

Janus clapped his hands and pointed forward and light of yellow shot from his index fingers, creating a yellow skull on the floor. Light shot up to the sky and suddenly Thomas bounded forward with a large smile on his face.

"Oh hello son! What's up?" Thomas grinned, backing away from Janus, "it's good to see you! Hey Virgil!"

"Sup' Thomas." Virgil greeted saluting Thomas.

"Love you Patton!"

"Love you Thomas!" Patton smiled.

Thomas saw the Hart brothers as his own children, and if he was being honest, they're the best weapons and friends for his son.

"It's been so long since I last saw you! I've forgotten how cute those scales are!" Thomas gushed, which earned a very dry look back from Janus.

"Stop it, Dad." Whined Janus, "I'm not a little kid anymore, is that really necessary?"

The twins appeared behind him, Virgil with his arms in the shape of an x and Patton moving his hand side to side at his neck, telling him to stop.

"Sensitive topic right now, Lord D- uh Thomas!" Virgil corrected, gosh it's was hard. Thomas wanted to be disconnected from his past as much as possible.

"Huh?" Thomas raised one eyebrow and lowered the other, "ok then! We'll just move along. How are things going? It looks like you're making good process." He stood straighter, "you're a Lord son. You don't really need to be training weapons or claiming souls."

Janus looked to his father, posture straight, "even so, I want to make my own weapons to my own specifications."

"Huh..." Thomas nodded, "well in that case, considering you have two weapons, you must collect double the souls." He looked good the brothers, "that means you'll have to work harder too, Virgil and Patton."

"Yes sir." They called out, Virgil relaxed and Patton hyper.

Janus nodded, "of course. Do you have an missions I could go on? Preferably ones with lots of kishin souls?"

"As a matter of fact I do!" Smiled Thomas, holding up one finger.

Remy and Emile walked down the hall of SWMA, Remy with a Starbucks in hand.

Emile frowned, noticing the notice mission board surrounded by people, "what's going on?"

Remy noticed the twins and their meister, "Remus! Roman! Logan! What's up?!"

Logan smiled, "salutations."

"What's up?" Grinned Remus, as he and Remy high-fived.

Emile frowned, "what happened? Why's everyone down here?"

Roman raised an eyebrow, "seriously? You mean you haven't heard? It's a hot topic around here."

Remy laughed, "see I told ya babes! I told ya I'd surpass the gods!"

The group looked at him in disbelief.

"Not quiet, Remy." Remus said, squeezing his shoulder.

They looked at the notice board and frowned, seeing the small rectangular notice, with two tags on, one with 'New' and the other with 'Working'.

Area: Pyramid of Anubis.
Mission: Collect the soul
of witch Vaggie.
Danger: Severe.

"It's nothing to do with you." Roman said, making Remy frown.

"Huh?"

Currently, Janus was on his skateboard, flying through the sky with Virgil and Patton in their weapon form as guns.

"In the heart of Egypt there is a pyramid called, The Pyramid of Anubis." His dad had said the night before. "You will find a witch there, a necromancer. She has raised multiple of the dead, all of which were in the tomb. She releases these mummies to eat human souls."

"A necromancer is difficult to stop, her first set of mummies will be sent out to create another set, which will in turn create another until eventually, she has an entire army of mummies."

"The ancient Pyramid of Anubis, I see." Janus has said, hands on his hips and eyes closed, "the pyramids were built at a time where they followed strict rules of symmetry." He looked to his father with a confident smile.

His father admitted, "actually, I was going to send a three star meister to this one..."

"Don't worry Dad, I can handle it myself."

Janus smiled at the conversation, 'after we defeat the witch we can take some time to enjoy the sites and the architecture.' He sped up on his board.

⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•⋅

Remy was still glaring at the mission has been for a good few minutes.

"So? What do you all think?" Roman asked.

"Do you wanna go find out who took on the big mission?" Remus asked, looking at Remy.

"Yeah! Course I do!" Yelled Remy, "whoever this bitch is, is a real show off! He thinks he can build a bigger reputation then mine!"

"'Kay, lets get going." Remus smirked.

Remy and Remus shot off in a cloud of dirt and smoke, running down the hall with a yell.

"Wait!" Roman yelled.

"Come back!" Logan demanded as Emile smacked his forehead.

⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•⋅

All while this was happening, Janus had finally made it to the pyramid.

He got off his board, which had a snake on the bottom and held his hand out when he kicked it up. His palm glowed yellow as black snake shadows flew out and the board disappeared.

He let his weapons go, and now in place of the pistols were Virgil and Patton.

"Oh would you look! The symmetry is gorgeous!" Gushed Janus.

The pyramid had a cat down the centre and green boards on each side, it was perfect on both sides and neither brother could deny that.

"All that time in weapon form makes my back ache like crazy!" Virgil complained, stretching and then went back to slouching.

"That things huge!" Gasped Patton, arms you in the air.

The wind suddenly picked up blowing sand about, making Janus cover his mouth with a white cloth and Virgil cough.

Patton noticed, "let's go inside and get away from this sand!" He smiled.

The brothers walked in first, Virgil behind Patton, "are we sure we wanna do this? This place gives me the creeps."

"Oh it's alright! I won't let anything happen to you!" Patton said, leading his brother.

Virgil focused on counting all the hairs on top of Patton's head and the countless freckles Patton had on his arms to keep the anxiety attack he was sure to have at bay.

"My eyes itch." Janus complained, white cloth still covering his mouth.

They walked down a hallway, with large stone faces with large noses and large blue shiny eyes, and arches with Egyptian hieroglyphics. They statues and hieroglyphics were the same on each side.

"Wow!" Marvelled Janus, "it's perfect on the inside too!"

Virgil grimaced as he stared into the eyes, "I hate it here. God, it's awful! It's creepy, dusty and icky!"

Patton noticed his brothers breathing becoming heavy and decided to ask a dumb question - well not to him, he genuinely wanted to know.

"Hey bro? I was wondering, why do people close their eyes when they sneeze? Is it to keep their eyes from popping out of their heads?" Patton asked, "do you know?"

Virgil frowned and looked to Patton, hands still tightly clasped to his shoulders, "I don't know Patton. That is certainly one theory that might explain why that is. But, it could also be like a normal reflex?" He glanced around warily, not noticing Janus walking quietly, his hat covering his eyes as he stared at the ground.

"Hmm..." Patton hummed and his eyes lit up, he had an idea! "Maybe I could do a test next time I have a cold and tape my eyelids open."

"Yes, but what if your theory is right and your eyeballs do pop out of your head?" Virgil asked.

"Ok yeah, your probably right about that!" Patton laughed.

Janus halted with a disgruntled grunt, making the brothers stop.

"You alright Janus?" Patton asked.

Virgil frowned, "what's up? You've been quiet for a long time now."

"Well uh, maybe it's my imagination..." Janus turned away from them, "but, I have this horrible feeling that the painting I have hanging in my living room is leaning slightly more towards the right..." He answered, imagining the painting he was thinking off. To be fair it looked normal in his vision, but to Janus it was leaning more to the right as he hadn't angled it that morning, and that's just not right. How could he have forgotten to angle and check? He was meant to angle and-

"DOES THAT STUPD PAINTING REALLY MATTER RIGHT NOW?!" Virgil yelled, interrupting Janus' thoughts.

Janus knocked his hat off and clenched his hair with his hands, "yes of course it matters! What should I do?! I can't go on like this!"

He dragged his hands down his face, stretching his scales and skin, "I can't wait! I have to go back to make sure!" He began to walk off.

"Hey, hey, hey!" Virgil grabbed his shoulder, "hey hey hey!"

Patton grabbed Virgil's black nail polished hand and began dragging him and laughing nervously, "hahahaha-!"

"There's a limit you the insanity I'm willing to put up with-" Virgil was yelling, dragging Janus who was wailing and whining, limp. Literally, he was dragging Janus, the boy was on his ankles.

"I'm worrying about it! I'm worrying about it! I'm worrying about it!-"

They sped up.

"Hahahahaha-"

"Don't worry! I won't let you worry! Shut-"

"I'm worrying about it! I'm worrying about it!-"

Now they were practically sprinting.

"Hahahahaha-"

"Oh you spoiled brat-"

"I'm worrying about it!-"

They came to a halt as Virgil game face to face with a creature, cylinder shaped, wrapped in bandages and had a smiling mask on.

Virgil screamed and hid behind Patton, clinging to him and had now let go of Janus, "it's a mummy! Mummy, mummy, mummy!" He screamed louder when he saw there were more then just one.

The covered their mouths, hands now forming and giggled, waving.

Virgil laughed nervously as Patton smiled, "they're cute!" Patton said leaning closer.

Suddenly, it's mouth opened, bleeding from the small dots of its eyes and stuck it's large, moist, red tongue out and licked Patton from his neck to his chin.

Patton squealed in discomfort and backed up, "a mummy licked me! Oh gross! How could this happen?!" Virgil, now less nervous and facing away from the dancing mummies, began laughing at Patton.

"They saliva-ed you!" Virgil laughed.

"Let's transform!" Patton called, making Virgil turn serious and nod.

Virgil turned to Janus, "okay Death, lets go-"

The two stared, Janus wasn't there but they could practically see the outline of were Janus had stood.

A letter floated down and they began to read.

Dear Virgil and Patton,

I'm still worrying about it, and nothing you say will help. I'm going home at once to check on the painting. Watch your step, it's dark in the pyramid.

Janus Sanders
Master of Death 𓆕

"He's joking right?!" Cried Virgil, looking to Patton who shrugged.

The mummies waddled to them, arms flailing with what looked like no bones and bleeding eyes, thick drooling tongues poking out.

"Patton!"

"Right!" Patton jumped and transformed into a pistol and Virgil began shooting, and with about three of four shots of light blue light, the first mummy was gone and in place was a red kishin souls.

Another mummy yelled and four bandage arms shot out at them, stretching and Virgil backed up, "beat it mummy!"

He flipped backwards and transformed into a pistol as Patton changed back catching Virgil and spun him on his index finger.

A mummy groaned and jumped at them, mouth open and Patton stuck the pistol into its mouth.

"Seriously?! In it's mouth?!" Whined Virgil from inside the gun, surrounded by darkness and shadows covering his naked chest.

Patton pulled the trigger, blowing the back of its head off and held the pistol close, "oh sorry!"

Two mummies advanced on Patton from behind, it was to late for Patton to turn and shoot so flipped and transformed as they leaned down to grab him.

Virgil transformed back and caught Patton, who was again in pistol form, and began shooting again.

A mummy grabbed Virgil's legs and pulled him down, making him drop Patton. Another mummy grabbed Patton in pistol form and held him over its mouth.

Patton yelled in shock, but luckily he didn't need to change back, as the mummy yelled in pain.

There in his chest was the lower half of what should be a leg, but was in fact a spike, a scythe more specifically and the blade was purple. Patton cheered as it looked up.

"Get the hell away from my brother." Virgil snarled, glaring at it, bringing his leg up, his scythe leg cutting it in half.

Patton changed back to human as he fell, "you know, I always thought Janus wanted us because were twin scythes."

"Yeah but with pistols he can hide the small, non symmetrical parts." Virgil reasoned.

"That is true..."

A loud roar escaped a mummy that was right behind them and Virgil grabbed Patton's hand, who transformed into a blue bladed scythe and slashed it in half.

The loud roars, bangs and slashing had alerted the witch, Vaggie.

Vaggie was gray and was surrounded by red souls and arms raised, in front of a statue.

"Ancient statue! I grant you the dark heart from my body, and do my bidding!" She called, her thin lips stretched into a smile, her sharp pointed teeth on show and her eyes severely cross eyed. "Awaken Pharaoh! Your master is calling you!" Gray flames came from her back as the souls flew into his chest, as the red and golds statues eyes turned red.

The eyes opened.

"... the wrath of the Pharaoh...!" It grumbled in a deep voice, the statue split in the middle and opened, a red eye shining through. It shot its mummified hand out and grabbed the witches head.

"It got me!" It dragged her, "I'm being dragged in!" She disappeared into the darkness of the statue, "it's going to eat my soul!" The statue slammed shut.

A loud slash and crunch was heard echoed around the room.

"... there is no one in this world who could ever be my master..." It grumbled, the statues eyes leaking blood.

Logan, Roman and Remus were in class, not knowing of the chaos that was happening in Egypt.

"Where do think those two morons have run off to now?" Logan asked.

Emile raised an eyebrow, "Remus is your weapon-"

"I don't know..." Roman sighed.

"AHHHHHHHHHH!" Remus and Remy were running down the hall, in perfect synchronicity, yet still so chaotic.

They knocked on Lord Thomas' door together with a loud, bang bang.

Nothing.

"AHHHHHHHHHH!" Remus and Remy were running down another hall, in perfect synchronicity, but less chaotic.

They panted as they stood on the balcony behind Valarie, having just questioned her.

She didn't even turn from the view and waved them off.

"AHHHHHHHHHH!" Remus and Remy were running down a different hall, in near perfect synchronicity, and barely chaotic.

They made it to the front desk and leaned on said desk, questioning the old, yet friendly brunette.

They lady just shook her head and they slumped.

"AHHHHHHHHHH!" Remus and Remy were running down a different hall, no linger in sync or chaotic.

A ruler snapped shut, as Janus smiled at the painting, having no idea to the two idiots running around SWMA.

"Ah, just my imagination." Janus sighed, "it's perfect." He admired, turning away from the four burning candles, two on each side.

"And now, my friends are waiting for me to get back. I should get going."

Little did he know the mummy job was over with now, as Virgil had the magazine of Patton's pistol out, collecting all the souls.

"That's the last of the mummy souls." Virgil commented putting the magazine back and letting Patton transform again.

Patton smiled, "imagine if we didn't split them evenly? Jan would get so depressed."

A whispering noise came from down the hallway and Virgil clung to his jacket.

"I don't like this." Virgil shivered, "did you hear that creepy voice come from that way?" Virgil asked pointing.

"Nope!" Patton smiled, then raised an arm in triumph, "let's go!" He began walking down the hall.

Virgil didn't move, "why don't we wait until Master of Death comes back?"

"Nah! It'll be ok!" Patton smiled, "I have my big bro with me! And you know he hates being called Master of Death by friends! Now let's go!" He walked off with a wide smile.

Virgil frowned, "I think you overestimate me Pat..." He mumbled.

The two walked for what seemed like ages, the faint whispering becoming clearer to the point that even Patton couldn't ignore it.

"It's coming from down here." Virgil whispered, pointing down a flight of stairs. They slowly walked down, "now be quiet Patton."

"Ok, I got it." Whispered Patton as they moved in front of the statue.

It was quiet and nothing was happening.

Patton stared and grinned, "hey did you see that thing move!" He yelled, pointing at the statue.

Virgil jumped and fell to the floor, covering his head, "no! Don't do that Patton!" He cried out as Patton laughed.

"Sorry! Sorry! I just wanted to make you laugh!"

A hand began crawling to Virgil, whose back was turned, leaving a trail of blood, and a voice said, "oh dear I'm left overs..."

Virgil and Patton turned and both screamed, which only got louder as bandages shot out from the statue.

Professor Dominic was walking down the stairs of the academy, wearing a white vest and pants, itching his stubble. He froze hearing a noise and turned around.

Remy and Remus stood at the top, hunched over, panting, Remus holding onto Remy's shoulder for support.

"What are you two doing here?" Dominic asked, head tilted, "the bell rang, classes have already started."

"What are we doing here?" Remy straightened his posture, "what about you? You're a teacher right?! Shouldn't you be in class too?"

Dominic smirked and looked away, Remy was cocky and smart - at times, "I have other things to take care of now. I'm a teacher and a busy man. You two should get going."

Remus frowned, "yeah, yeah sure. But, first you need to tell us... The Pyramid of Anubis-"

"Who's the bitch that took the mission?!" Remy snarled.

"Oh!" Dominic faced them again, "that mission wasn't taken by a student from our school. It's much too difficult for one of you."

"Well? Who took it?!" Remus screeched.

"It was taken by Lord Thomas' son." Dominic said.

"Lord Thomas has a son?!" Remy yelled in shock.

"Who knew Lord Thomas got freaky in the sheets!" Laughed Remus.

"Really?" Remy asked.

Dominic nodded, "yes really. I'm not a man to tell a lie."

⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•⋅

Janus arrived outside the pyramid on his board, "nice to see you again, Anubis. You're even beautiful the second time around!"

He skateboarded through the hall.

A ball with a face rolled up to him, and meowed. It was white, with three black circles on it, symmetrically placed and a curved mouth.

Janus gasped, "what is this?!" He jumped down and picked it, "perfect symmetry! You are amazing!" He held it up and frowned upon closer inspection, "hey no..." He noticed one eye had four eyelashes while the other had three.

"You make me sick! Get away!" He kicked the ball and watched as it bounced away, from wall to wall, ceiling and floor and to all in the in between.

It crashed into the walk and Janus didn't even glance at it as he went past, he grumbled, "how disappointing..." If he had looked, he would have seen a wide smile, large teeth and a large tongue, instead of the cute ball from before.

"Virge?! Pat?!"

Virgil groaned, hearing Janus and opened his eyes slightly, "Jan, here!" He called out weakly.

Janus entered and froze.

Bandages had wrapped around the two, Virgil's jacket had been lifted up as well as his shirt, arms bound above his head and Pattons pants had been lowered from his waist ever so slightly, revealing the top of his boxers. Their legs bound together.

Janus' jaw dropped and quickly turned away and skating off, "didn't mean to intrude!"

Virgil's eyes widened, "hey, hey, hey!"

A few of the bandages made drills and shot at Janus, who looked back and blocked with his board, breaking the bandages.

"What is this?" Janus asked, "you two! Switch to pistols!"

"We can't! Our abilities won't work wrapped up like this!" Virgil replied, struggling.

Janus looked to them, "alright then!" He jumped up and spun the board at the bandages holding the brothers and cut them loose.

The two landed, Virgil smirked and Patton grinned.

"Alright!" The two yelled and jumped, transforming into pistols. Janus caught them.

Janus caught them and held them upside down, his pink on the triggers, "a pharaohs soul huh? Well, now your ours!"

His eyes widened, two bandages arms shot out at him, hands into fists.

They punched him and he fell back.

"Janus!" Virgil yelled.

"Are you ok?!" Patton asked.

Janus got up, and was punched in the stomach, sending him back. Then in the cheek and then jaw.

Janus fell back, landing on his back, arms and legs spread.

"Jan! Why don't you fight back?!" Virgil yelled.

"This isn't like you!" Patton commented.

Janus slowly got up, looking at the shadowed Pharoh statue, "look at the pharaoh closely." He looked at it, "he's perfectly symmetrical in every way."

Virgil gasped and Patton squealed, it was true! Such intricate design and patterns matched perfectly with the patterns on the other side.

A bandage blade came down at Janus and stabbed him, blood spewed everywhere as he fell to his knees.

"JANUS!" Screamed the brothers.

"Forget about the symmetry! It doesn't matter! You'll die if you don't do something!" Virgil yelled, as the bandages made drills.

"You're supposed to become the next Lord! Don't let us down!" Patton called.

Janus stared at the drills and looked down, 'no, I can't pull the trigger on him.'

The drills shot down, and the brothers only had a second to react. They changed into humans and pushed Janus down.

Virgil grabbed Patton's hand, who changed into a scythe and as the drills came closer, Virgil spun the scythe knocking them off their path.

He held the handle behind his back, blade pointed at the threat, "back off. We aren't letting you anywhere near our meister."

Janus stayed on the ground, he had great friends and weapons, and he felt awful knowing he couldn't hurt the pharaoh.

"... then face the wrath of the pharaoh...!" It grumbled, making a hammer and tried to pound the two, but Virgil would slash back, but it'd try again.

"... wrath...!"

Pound. Slash.

"... wrath...!"

Pound. Slash.

"... wrath...!"

Pound. Slash.

The statue opened down the middle, the pounding had stopped. But, Virgil and Patton stayed put in front of Janus, who slowly looked up.

"...I'll kill you all myself..."

A mummified figure crawled out. It was tall, had a pot belly, a golden cane in its mouth, a head piece and-

Janus sat up quickly in shock.

He stared blankly at the pharaohs face.

Right: One Black eye, with a red tint and a smooth circular head piece, a small zigzagged face in the middle of his forehead and the golden cane in its mouth, and a blue and gold rectangular metal in its ear place.

Left: No eye, three spikes coming off the head piece, the rectangular bar slightly nighter them where the ear would have been and the zigzagged smile was looser.

Right, left. Right, left.

It moved forward.

Janus glared and gritted his teeth, 'you're disgustingly hideous!'

The brothers smirked.

"It's all over now." Virgil grinned and transformed into a pistol.

Patton laughed and followed his brothers example.

Janus caught them both, "what the hell kind of thing are you?! I've never seen something so messed up in my life!" He got up slowly, "do you know nothing about symmetry?!" He staggered, "whoever made you should dig his grave, get shot and be buried!"

He held up the guns, one over the other, "just look at your forehead!" He yelled, shooting the shoulder of it.

"You don't even deserve to live!" Janus began shooting in a mad, raged filled haze.

"Disgusting!" He yelled over the blasts.

"Disgusting, disgusting, disgusting-"

BLAST! BLAST! BLAST!

"Disgusting, disgusting, disgusting-"

BLAST! BLAST! BLAST!

"Disgusting, disgusting, disgusting-"

BLAST!

"Disgusting!"

The final blow send a large yellow blast straight though it and the pyramid, leaving a permanent hole in it.

He held up his weapons and stared at the red soul, not even blinking at the small zigzagged smile rolled in between his feet.

"I feel much better now..." Sighed Janus, picking the soul up and sliding it into Virgil's magazine.

The three left, the pistols now teenagers, glaring at the laughing, blazing sun.

Virgil sighed, "Janus, I have one more soul then Patton."

"Damn it! Well, we can't have that!" Janus groaned, "we need another mission."

"Ok!" Patton smiled.

"I just wanna put this whole chapter behind me!" Janus sighed, "that pharaoh was absolutely horrific!" He stopped, "anyway! The mission is over." He turned back, making the others turn back too, to see the pyramid, "now. Let's say goodbye to the beautiful Anubis."

A crack appeared on the cats face, then it spread up its body, then to the bricks and then- oh it just collapsed into a pile of rubble and sand.

Janus' jaw dropped in shock and horror.

Patton laughed and shook his hands.

Virgil just stared unimpressed.

"You broke the pharaoh! Your broke the pharaoh!" Patton yelled.

"What did we do?!" Janus fell to the floor.

Virgil stared, "we went a little nuts in there, don't you think? Crazy."

"You broke the pharaoh! Your broke the pharaoh!"

"I'm a pig! A louse! Useless! I broke Anubis! I don't deserve to live! I should die!" Janus cried, pounding his hand on the floor.

Patton stopped yelling and the two brothers appeared next to Janus instantly.

"No you don't need to die!" Virgil reassured, "who hasn't destroyed one or two pyramids in their life?"

Patton ribbed his back comfortingly, "see it's ok."

Janus looked up smiling, "thanks guys." He stared and glared, jumping up, "but why are you styled still completely different?!"

⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•⋅

Remy and Remus glared at the mission notice board, with the pyramid mission.

A large, red stamped covered it with one word on.

Complete

Janus had reported to his father who was in the mirror, "as punishment for destroying the pyramid, all the souls you have collected are to be confiscated."

Janus was on the floor, punching his fist on the ground, "damn it! I'm garbage! I'll die!"
