"Your voice comforts me"

Jimin blinked repeatedly. His ears couldn't believe what he just heard.
Jungkook stares at him. "Are you okay?"
Jimin cleared his throat and nods.
"Yeah yeah, fine fine, let me just..read this-" Jimin giggles when he saw the cover again, making Jungkook looked at him curiously.
"What's wrong?" Jimin shook his head, trying to hold back his laugh.
"You want me to read a book for you about Peter Pan?" Jungkook's cheek heat up.
"I thought...a children book would be easier.."

"And thus, Wendy and her brothers came home safely and reunited with their parents.."
"How tragic" Jungkook commented. "Did you...like it?" Jungkook hums.
"It was fine. Not as cool as iron man but acceptable" Jimin chuckles.
Jungkook's eyes gazed at the children book before looking back at Jimin.
"Why do you like books so much?" He asked.

"Um...I'm not sure.."
"Like no offense, but what does a thick book have that makes me people enjoy it so much? Or is it just me? because I can't read." Jimin laughs. "No no it's fine, hm well..for me, reading makes me escape from reality, everytime I open a book, I get to focus on it and not care about the world" he smiles as he caress the book. "People might enjoy using social media and watching YouTube but for me, I like to read. It's what I love and ill enjoy it until I'm old"
"Wow...you sound old" Jimin couldn't help but glare at him.
"We're the same age" Jimin spat.
"Yeah yeah whatever.."

The bell rang, which meant it time for their math class. Jungkook doesn't like that, making him groan.
"Math sucks" Jimin shakes his head.
"Don't be like that, math can be fun" "yeah. For you at least" Jungkook rolls his eyes.
"I prefer to be alone"
"Well that won't be in the exam so good luck with that" Before Jungkook could reply back, Jimin had already ran away.
Before they knew it, They started to spend more time with each other. They both weren't in the same class but Jungkook never failed to come by and see the smaller. Jimin barely does the first move because he knew that Jungkook was one step ahead of him. With a book in his hand.

-Bell Rings-

It was lunch time and as expected, Jungkook was standing outside. His face remained blank, his uniform was untucked and his Raven hair was blocking his eyebrows. Either way, people thought he was mysterious.
No one really notice the fact that Jeon Jungkook was holding another children's book in his hand.
Jimin looks down and raise a brow at him.
"Did you not have a childhood when you were young? Or did you not watch Disney at all?" Jimin said.
"Like I said....children's book are easier"

Jimin huff. "You say that as if I find all my novel books hard to read" Jimin blurted.
Jungkook remained expressionless, making Jimin roll his eyes.
"Aish whatever, come one, let's go" They walk side by side, talking about what's coming out for the exams(mostly Jimin)
Jungkook only listened to it all and nodded when he needed.

The rest of the students couldn't help but notice how close they were. It was their first time to see Jungkook encounter someone who was actually nice.

"Did he lose a bet?"

"He doesn't even have any friends so how can he lose a bet?"

"Oh right.."

"Poor Jimin, he must have been ordered to be Jungkook's slave"

"I know right"

So many whispers and gossips, but Jungkook chose to not care.

"And when The Prince had given Cinderella a kiss, it was happily ever after" Jungkook yawns, which made Jimin gave a look at him. Jungkook yawns again and says "That's boring" "Well it was your choice to bring me this book, and I'm reading it for you"
"Yeah but i didn't expect it to be boring" Jimin groans, almost wanting to throw the book at jungkook's face, if he didn't treasure books so much. "Look if you don't want it to be boring, why can't you just find a book that's not a cartoon?"

"I have a taste in books"
"You mean Disney princesses is a taste?" Jungkook glares at him. "I meant as in, it's hard to find a good book, when I can't even read the description. like...what if I pick a book that looks like horror but it's actually romance??" Jimin chuckles. "The covers says it all you know?" He says. "That's the thing. If I don't like the cover, I won't even think of borrowing it" Jimin wishes he didn't ask. "You are so indecisive" Jimin commented.

"I know. It sucks." As it went silent again, Jimin can't help but stare at jungkook's features. The taller had a nose that looks like it's been punched many times, a scar on his cheek, small lips and an intimidating blank stare. When you think of it, jungkook is scary when he's not smiling. Jimin found that quite cool. "Why are you staring at me? Do I have a bug on my face?" Jimin shook his head. "Nothing it's just...are we friends now?"

That question.

Jungkook wasn't so sure.

He thought of just using Jimin for his poor dyslexia, but he came to see that Jimin wasn't a bad person at all. Which made him think twice.

"Well..." Jungkook panics a little. What do you in this situation?
"Jungkook you okay?" Jungkook cleared his throat. When he look at Jimin, he starts to panic again. "Um...I will give you the answer...." Jimin waits patiently, smiling softly. Jungkook bit his lips and grabs his book.
"Next week! I'll give the answer next week!"
Jimin was left dumbfounded as Jungkook ran at full speed, slamming the door behind him. The smaller couldn't help but laugh.

"He's so cute.."
