Chapter 14-The Parents
Maya POV
I stay silent thinking over what he just said .What he said was heart warming but I still have doubts.He seems like a fuckboy yet he says he loves me and the baby he says he wants it but do I want it....
"I would keep the baby if I was you... I wouldn't let a piece of me go cause that's what a child is a piece of you" Taylor's words rang in my ear. Yes I want my baby and I know I can't raise it alone but...
"Please say something"Nick pleads in desperate tone.

I gulp and say "I'll give you chance"

He grabs my waist and lifts me up in the air making me laugh "Thank you Thank you "He says gently putting me down.

"Your welcome" I say back.

We start walking towards the exit he immediately holds my hand while we walk.

We stop in front of a blue car.
"Get in"Nick says
I quickly get in and buckle up then Nick gets in . He puts the car in drive and We ride in silence for a few minutes.
"Where have you been staying?"Nick asks
"My best friend Taylor's house " I answer honestly.
"Oh is your stuff there?"Nick asks
"No why?" I question
"Cause your moving in with me"Nick answers back nonchalantly.
"No I'm not "I retort
"Why not?"Nick questions
"Cause how would I explain it to my parents"I answer back.
"How about mom and dad I'm pregnant so I'm gonna move in into my fiance parents house till we go look for a place together" Nick says
"Fiances?Place together? Are you crazy? " I say as my eyes bulge .
"Yes I'm gonna marry you someday and of course we are gonna get a place together" Nick says earnestly
"How can you afford it?"I ask in disbelief.
"I'm rich" he answers
"Oh"I say
"Where are you taking me?" I ask
"To your house baby"Nick answers smiling                                                                                                                           

 "Why?"I ask in a whisper                                                                                                                                                               

 "Its time to talk to your parents"Nick explains 

I gulp

'Just peachy'

At Maya's home

I get out the car and walk to the front door while Nick holds my hand. I knock on the door since i left my keys. The door opens  and there stand Alex and Daniel.

"Maya!We missed you"They scream as Alex jumps into my arms as Daniel hugs my waist. 

"I missed you guys too now show me where Mom and Dad  is "I say as they lead me into the living room where my parents sit on the couch drinking coffee.

"Where have you been?"My mother says 

"Taylor's house"

Relief washes over my mothers face  as she gets up and hugs me tight .

"But you didn't call " My Dad says from the couch gripping his coffee looking worried , nervous and sick .

"I'm sorry Dad ... I forgot  to" I say sitting next to him wrapping my arms around his waist hugging him my mother soon joins.

"Now who is this young man and what is he doing in my house" Dad says staring at Nick 

Nick POV

I feel a pang at my heart at the sight of them hugging ..... My family never does that.We rarely talk . I get everything I want  except them . I never get them.......

"Now who is this young man and what is he doing in my house" Maya's Dad says scattering my thoughts 

"I'm Nick Thompson your daughter's Fiance " I  say smugly making Maya glare at me while her mom gasp

"I don't know who your referring too but it sure as hell better be my invisible daughter " Maya's Dad says smoothly but you can hear the anger behind it.

"I'm talking about MAYA who is carrying my CHILD " I say letting the jealousy of them being a perfect family get to me from the caring parent to the smart daughter to the twins looking at me from the corner.

"IS THIS TRUE MAYA ??????"Maya's Dad yells
