"No Finding Nemo is a better movie choice than Peter Pan"He agrued throwing popcorn at me making me laugh and roll over on my pillow to dodge.

It was Tuesday after school and i was spending movie day with Caden-yes I DID say Caden and yes it is the one and only Caden Clark. Tayson was still  being a complete  ass wipe and i've been praying that he doesn't show up at family dinner. Caden isn't as bad as he seems and i know he'll  eventually want more then friendship but i will take care of that when it gets to that point.

Caden and I had layed down hundred or so blankets and pillows on the floor in front of my 75 inch plasma.I sat on my big blue fluffy pillow agruing with Caden over which movie we should watch.I always cried over Finding Nemo and I did not want Caden teasing me about it in the future.

"Your such a Nemo hater! What did the fish ever do to you!?"He cried out of annoyance and impatience

"Oh! get over yourself you big baby I just don't want to watch it at the moment"I agrue back starting to get irritated while wanting to laugh at how childish this must sound

"But Nemo is so much better"He whines pouting he sounded like a toddler and i struggled to keep a straight face 

"My house my choice Caden you can choose next time"I say trying to make a compromise a while smiling but that smile drops as i see a small smirk take over Cadens face

"So there's a next time?"He asks smirking while wiggling his eyebrows looking like he just won the lottery

"Don't get ahead of yourself"I scold him sticking my tongue out 

"Don't worry I won't "He says smiling at me 

I smile back as I press play twisting and turning trying to get comfy on my pillow.I always loved Peter Pan! The  thought of never growing up was fascinating,It meant many things like not having to worry about taxes,not having to work.The possibilities are endless and that's why I loved the movie but there were the downsides like not being able to grow old and such.As Tinker Bell's cheeks turn red I see Caden edge closer so close that his peppermint breath fans my face.

"What are you doing?"I hiss trying to look at him and at the screen at the same time

"Shh please just let me do this plus its freezing in this room"He pleads 

I soon realize he's right its super cold so i just nod before silently turning back to the screen.He scoots closer then gently placed his arm around my shoulder and I instantly was hit with warmth.I snuggled closer into his radiated warmth placing my head on his shoulder.I can almost feel the smile that spreads across his face as he turns to the screen shouting smart remarks.

Time flies and the next thing we know we have finished half the popcorn and candy stash.We were in the middle of movie and i don't know if the stash will make it to the end of the movie.My door flies open and i turn to see Tayson standing there smiling.

"Look Amelia I'm so sorry for being a jerk well i was more than a jerk I'm an asshole and I shouldn't have believed the -"He stops talking when his eyes land on me and Caden  eyeing his arm on my shoulder and i don't make a move to remove still shocked his in my room for the first time in weeks.His eyes quickly turns kind to cold and his smile drops replaced with cold grimace.

"Your having movie day with him!So he's my replacement now!Its bad enough you slept with him and now your all buddy buddy"He yells icily glaring daggers into Cadens head

"I didn't sleep with him I'm a virgin you asshole"I scream back if looks could kill he would be dead

"Wait your a virgin?"Caden asks smirking 

"Now is not the time "I say gritting my teeth

"Remind me to never listen to my mother your the worst girl I ever met"Tayson screams walking out the door slamming it behind him

Something pangs in my heart and I quickly grow angry soon enough i find myself opening my bedroom door.

"Don't you dare mention Aunt Taylor!She could have gave up your stupid ass for adoption!So if i find out your disrespecting her I'll personally rip out your eyes and shove them so far your ass you'll be crippled!Friend or not you now i was the best thing you ever met you ass wipe!"I scream back before sinking to the ground sobbing. Caden pulls me into his chest caressing my hair.

It was comforting but I can't help but wish It was Tayson who was doing this.

It was morning and I felt refreshed,at peace in  a way. Caden had left last night after making sure I was okay.He was so sweet that he even asked if I wanted him to stay but I had declined.I jump into the shower washing my hair with vanilla scented shampoo.I stepped out and wiped myself down with a towel.I put on black leggings and a white sweater  to go with my white flats.I let my hair lay in its natural wavy way.I rub pink chap stick  on my lips before grabbing my back pack.I kiss my Mom on the cheek and fist bump my Dad before walking to my garage and hopping into in my car.

I stop by Starbucks getting my usual Frappe and muffin.To think if this was a usual day Tayson would be here with me laughing ,smiling ....he would buy a white chocolate Mocha and a muffin and I would pay for it cause his forgetful ass forgot his wallet at home per usual.I park in front of the school I jump out locking my car since i don't need my shit stolen.I sip the last of my frappe dunking it the nearest trash can.

I walk slowly down the hall since its still pretty early and there's no chance of me being late.I see Tayson and his three hooligans leaning against the locker.He looks good like really good.Hes wearing a green collared shirt that Illuminates his grey eyes and black jeans to go with his converses ....Its simple but that's Tayson. He almost looks like his old self except for that fuck boy smirk on his face.We make eye contact for a moment and he opens his mouth as if wanting to say something but closes it soon after as if deciding against it sending me a silent nod instead.I roll my eyes at him before breaking eye contact and continuing my voyage.

I spot Caden and run forward needing a distraction from this Tayson ass wipe tense mess.

"Cadeeeen!!!"I scream making him look up from his phone and when he does a smile spreads across his face 

"Always good to know you missed me so much that you have to scream my name down this halls"He says smirking when I'm standing in front of him 

I scoff "Your lucky I even say your name"I say in a matter fact tone 

"Please I'm THE Caden Clark everyone says my name especially the ladies"He says adding emphasis on the word ladies winking 

"Oh whatever i'll always be the best "I say smirking and punching him on the shoulders 

"Did you sleep okay last night you know with everything that happened?"He asked growing serious concern swirling in his brown eyes as he put my hair behind my ear cupping my cheeks

"it was alright I was okay since you helped"I say honestly staring into his eyes 

"Ok"He whispers still holding my cheeks in his soft hands emotions  that i couldn't decipher flashed on his face .He lets go of my cheeks like they were on fire.

"Class?"He asks after a moment of silence 

"Class"I agree nodding 

He casually places his arm over my shoulder and we start walking down the hall.

I walk into my room shaking my wet hair from the rain.I had went to Caden's house to help him babysit his brother, Casey.It had been fun since Casey had been quite the character telling me all of Cadens most embarrassing  moments just in case they came in handy.

I lift my head from shaking it only to see Tayson sitting on my bed.

"I've been waiting for hours where have you been?"Tayson asks wiping the water from his face

"Places"I answer mimicking his reply

"I deserved that"He answered wincing probably at the memory 

"Yes yes you did"I say sitting next to him on the bed and his head hangs low as if ashamed

"All wanna know is why.Why did you act like you did?"I ask gently lifting his head by his chin until his eyes are looking onto mine

"Everybody was talking about how you slept with Caden and how much you liked him so I thought if i was just like him you know image and all you would like me but instead it did the opposite"He says red tinging his cheeks

"I never slept with Caden never will and I only like him as a friend I like someone else"I say honestly

"oh"He mutters looking at his hands 

"The person i like is blonde and has the greyest eyes in the land and that person is you"I say smiling as he looks up at my face gazing into my eyes.

"Y-You like me?"He asks making me nod 

He stares into my eyes as he gently cups my cheek my eyes automatically close.He leans till his minty breath mingles with mine and my lips quiver in anticipation .Then he closes the distance his lips smashing against mine.Our lips move gently against mine and sparks fly like an electric buzz that I don't want to end.I put my arms  around his neck and his immediately find my waist pulling me closer.We pull away after few minutes breathing heavy.

"You taste like rain"he says chuckling lightly

"Well that's what happens when you encounter rain doofus"I say teasingly punching his arm playfully

"Amelia I've loved you since the fifth grade and known you longer than that.I love your smile,your laugh ,your kick ass attitude...You don't have to say it back but I Love You"He says looking at me lovingly eyes crinkled in hope 

"I care for you and I like you"I say honsetly

"That's good enough for now"He whispers smiling 

"Good enough for now" I muse before our lips meet once again

'I know i'll fall hard for you eventually but today isn't that day I still got my clarity without the hazy feeling of love sailing its way'
