I sigh as I walk into the school.
Cadens been flirting with me all week.Thank god its Friday.I love Friday's cause thats when we have dinner with Aunt Taylor,Tayson,My uncles Alex and Daniel and of course my mom and dad.

Tayson was not with me today,he hasn't been with me for the last 4 days.Its like he's been avoiding me.Of course he's avoiding me.I miss his laughter ,his sudden smiles.
He hasn't been answering any of my calls.I even went to his house only for aunt Taylor to give me a sad smile and say he's out with friends.'but he doesn't have any other friends...or does he?'

I let out another sigh as I walk up to my locker.I grabbed my books and started walking down the hall when I heard it..his laugh.My head snapped at the sound trying to locate him and there he was laughing with three other boys. Tayson looked different ,he looked like a jock like the other boys:Matthew, Curtis ,Mike.

'How could person change so much in just a few days?'

Before I knew it I was marching over.Taysons eyes widen slightly when he saw me but his face remained emotionless cold even.

"Tayson where have you been?"I scream hitting his chest in anger

"Places"He answered simply as if unfazed and that bothered me to the point of annoyance

"You missed our movie day and you haven't answered any of my calls and the best you can give me is places!!!???"I scream tears pricking my eyes but I refuse to let them fall.

'Remember what mom said you let them see cry they win but if you fight without shedding one your victorious and always will be'

"Looks like Tayson got a clingy bitch"Matthew sing songs laughing while nudging Curtis who has a look of sympathy on his face.

'Good to know one of thems human'

"Listen here little girl Tayson was just look for easy lay nothing more nothing less now be gone"Mike deadpans smirking and I swear his voice makes me sick.

I acquaint him with my middle "Listen here dipthong when I find you living on the street or in your parents basement I'll drop you a pretty penny mmm'kay?"

Their mouths drop but I pay no mind as I turn and shove Tayson against a locker "I don't know why your acting like this after you were so sweet just a few days ago but you made a promise to always be there for me and me for you just know you broke that promise I hope your happy see you at family dinner though I'm not show if I can even consider you that anymore"I whisper in his ear before pulling away and walking away.

I can't help but look back so I do to see Tayson looking at me face full of deep regret.

It was lunch time and I was sitting in my usual table with some false hope that Tayson would sit with me like usual.

The door made a sound meaning someone walked in.I look up to see Tayson and send him a small smile which he returns.Just as he was about to come sit with me Matthew and Mike appear dragging him in the opposite direction with Curtis trailing behind.

I was starting to think Curtis wasn't bad just hung out with the wrong people.I heard plop next to me and turned to see Caden sitting where Tayson usually sat.

"I'm not in the mood Caden "I say spitting out his name like venom a scowl deepening on my face.

"Whats wrong?"He asks with concern on his face .I've gotten use to his presence I don't enjoy it but it was there nether less.

"I'm fine"I answer simply not evening look in his direction

"Wait wheres your boy toy?"He asked shocked

Boy toy ?

"What?"I question actually looking at him in curiosity

"You know blonde ,tallish.."Caden lists trailing off at the end

"You mean Tayson"I ask actually letting out a little laugh

"Oh so boy toy actually has a name"He says lip quirking up in amusement

"He's not my boy toy"I say in annoyance poking his chest

"Then what is he?"Caden questions sticking his tongue out

"He's my bestfriend"I answer simply

"Then ...where is he?"He asks drawing out the word then

"Hes asbent at the moment"I say vaguely

"Then I'll replace him"He says smiling and nodding to himself

"No"

"Yes"

"No"

"Yes"

"No"

"Pwease " he says pouting

"Uh fine"I say defeated

"Works everytime I swear my lips are magic of course you would know babe "He says swinging his arm on my shoulder

"Don't push it "I say to him with an amused yet annoyed smile in my face

And then the bell rings

Caden winks and sends me a smirk "see ya later babe"
Then he walks away

I shake my head in amusement smiling a little.Oddly he had made me forget my Tayson problems.

Then I feel a burning gaze on the side of my face.I turn to see Tayson with a look of betrayal on his face and anger swimming in his eyes.

'I should be the one who's anger he has no right'

I was standing in front of the mirror on my room looking at my outfit for family dinner.I was wearing black skinny jeans and a white T-shirt.

My long hair was in a ponytail that was braided at the side.I was wearing pink lip gloss and thats it.I slipped on my Nikes.

I was walking down the stairs just as the bell rang.I ran to open the door knowing my mom was cooking in the kitchen and dad was taking a shower.

I open the door to see uncle Alex and Daniel.I gave each a quick hug smiling.

"Sup shorty"Uncle Alex says chuckling knowing I hate being called short

"I'm not short I'm average height"I whine narrowing my eyes at my Uncle.

"Yes you are"He says simply

"No I'm not your just a walking skyscraper"I say defiantly

"Oi break it up its always the same argument"Uncle Daniel says trying to be serious

"But you love it"I say smirking

"Yes yes I do"He says laughing

Soon we are laughing in the living room so much that we don't notice Aunt Taylors and Taysons arrival.

"Aunt Taylor!!!" I scream smiling jumping into her open arms engulfing it her warm familiar scent

"Amelia!!!!"She screams back hugging me tight

Soon she detaches herself from me to talk to my uncles.I look at Tayson to see him looking at me.

"Tayson"I say crisply

He just nods not uttering a word before taking out his phone.I sigh at least he acknowledges my presence instead of ignoring me.

My mom calls out dinners ready and we all go eat.The dinner is filled with laughter and smiles.
We all take part except for Tayson he's still on his phone he barely even touched his plate.Usually he would of finished eating and would of went up to my room even stayed over.

I sigh for what seems the hundredth time.He's not making a move to fix things between us so I guess I will.

"Tayson wanna go upstairs to room to watch a movie?"I ask smiling when there's pause in conversation

"No I'm going out with my friends why don't you call your friend instead of being so reliant on me!"Tayson snaps before getting up and slamming the front door

"May I be excused?"I say my lip trembling wanting to cry

My mom silently nods and that's cue to get up and run to my room so I do .I jump into my bed burying my head into my pillow.

'Why was he acting like this ?'

I hear my door click open to see Aunt Taylor standing in front of me.

"Do you know why Taysons acting like this?"I ask

"No sweetie but I'll talk to him"She says softly gently stroking my hair

I nod slowly believing her because when has Aunt Taylor ever been wrong!???

"Everythings gonna be ok"She's says flashing me her bright smile and I instantly feel better.She gives me a kiss on the year before walking out still smiling.

And as my eyes flutter close my mind reapeats:

"Everythings gonna be ok"

I see Aunt Taylors smile.....
Taysons smile.......
