Roachville, Florida

Krista Sakamoto was practicing for the big basketball tournament at Roachville High School. She was from Osaka, Japan, and came to America in 2019. Every student was impressed by her basketball skills.

"She's amazing!" said Sandra.

"She is gonna win the tournament against Jacksonville!" exclaimed Stan. Krista dribbled the ball, and shot it through the hoop, earning applause from the spectators.

It was now lunchtime, and Krista was in line. Steak and cheese grinders were on the menu. She got her tray, and also a carton of chocolate milk. She sat down with Tiffany.

"You're gonna win this tournament, I can tell!" said Tiffany, eating her food.

"I got this in the bag!" said Krista, taking a bite of her steak and cheese grinder. "The Roachville Ducks will clobber Jacksonville!"

Tournament night was now here. Just when things looked their brightest, Krista fell ill, and rushed to the girl's bathroom to vomit. Without her around, her teammates had a difficult time with Jacksonville. The other team scored so many points. Even after halftime, not much changed. Jacksonville was up by 70 points, while The Roachville Ducks were down by 30.

Sadly, The Roachville Ducks lost to Jacksonville. Without their star player, they suffered a horrible loss.

So much for having the game in the bag.
