PART 1

Mitch was my new partner.

He never listened and never coordinated.

He was the worst partner ever.

We were on a new mission, we had to take down a couple that thought they were a new Bonnie and Clyde.

I was currently driving to the last known location were they were spotted.

"You wanna put your foot down?" he asked me 

"No." I said bluntly 

"We need to get there faster" he told me 

"No, I need to get there without raising suspicion, therefore I will stay within the speed limit" I snapped

"What's up your ass?" He asked me 

"Your attitude" 

"Look, we annoyingly got put as partners, so I have to deal with your bitchiness. So therefore you have to put up with my attitude" he told me 

I said nothing I just shook my head and rolled my eyes.

We soon got to the location, when my phone suddenly rang.

It was Stan.

"Look, I have just got a tip, it's one of my guys working undercover at the hotel next-door. They are in room 305 and have booked in for a week. I want you to do the same. Check in with a guy called JP." He said before ending the phone 

"You hear all that?" I asked Mitch.

He nodded.

"We need a cover for when we go in. Incase we bump into them" He pointed out

"Okay" I thought 

"Follow me." he said 

He took me into a jewellery shop that was opposite the hotel.

We walked in and he walked over to the ring section.

"Hello Sir, how can I help today?" The jeweller asked with a smile

"Hey buddy. My girlfriend, well finance now, can never get used to that, want to pick out our rings" Mitch smiled

Umm

"How lovely, did you have any ideas in mind?"  He asked us 

"Well, we are on a budget, we want something beautiful but affordable" I told him as we didn't have any money 

"I will be right back" He smiled 

He can back with a small pillow, which laid two rings on.

"These are £7000, they are the cheapest thing I have in here" He said 

"Wow, they are beautiful" I said "But-" I began 

"Hunny, if you like them we will get them" Mitch said already pulling out his wallet.

"Okay, we will take them" I smiled going along with the act.

Mitch bought them while I waited outside.

"Here" he said leaving the store

We both placed them on our fingers.

"So we are playing finance's?" I asked 

"Nope, we are now husband and wife" He smiled 

"Okay my love" I teased 

"Okay come on" He said 

And for a minute I think I saw a genuine smile from Mitch Rapp.

We walked into the hotel and walked up to the front desk.

"We are looking for JP" I said 

"This way" the girl said taking us into the back room.

We followed her. But kept our guard.

"They are in room 305, we have given you 308, so you are across the hall 2 doors down. We have a camera set up outside your room angled at theirs, so you can watch when they are going in and out. I have to leave once I give you this information so you two are alone after this. Do not let them get away, and try not to kill them, if you are try and leave her alive" She explained without stopping. 

She continued to walk until she left the building.

A key was left in her jacket that she also left behind.

I grabbed the key as we began walking up to our room.

We got in the lift and if by luck, so did our Bonnie and Clyde, there actual names being Jake and Lucy.

"Hi" Lucy smiled

"Hi" I smiled back

"How long have you two been married?" She asked. She was jolly almost as if she was high 

"4 years" Mitch answered

"What's the occasion?" Jake asked smiling

"4 year anniversary, this is where we met, so we though it would be special" Mitch answered

"Aww, Jakey they are so cute. I wanna get married" She begged

"And I told you Lucy, we have to much going on in life at the moment" he smiled 

"I know baby. I just want to look as happy as them, they are such a cute couple, look Jakey" she giggled

"They are Lucy, you are right . Happy anniversary" he smiled.

Jake looked like you average British white boy.

Hair blonde and eyes green.

At least 6 foot.

Dressed in the smartest clothes.

Lucy how ever looked like a neater Harley Quinn.

Her hair was down and blonde.

But her make up was wild and was finished off with a bright red lipstick.

Her eyes bright blue, short and skinny.

"Where are you guys staying?" Jake asked us

"Room 308" Mitch smiled, he grabbed my waist and pulled me into him, keeping me close.

"No way! We are in room 305" Lucy smiled 

"What a coincidence" I smiled 

"Would you guys like to join us for a dinner and a drink later on tonight?" Jake asked us 

"We will try to. We've been out all day so we are very tired" Mitch answered

"Well, if you change your mind you know where to find us" Lucy smiled as the elevator came to a stop

We all walked out and down the corridor to our rooms.

"Catch you guys later" Jake smiled as he entered there room 

We waved goodbye and walked into our room

"Great. One bed. One week." I sighed

"I'll take the coach if you want me too" Mitch offered.

"No, it's fine the bed is big enough" I smiled.

For a moment things with Mitch felt awkward. 

"What are we going to do for clothes?" I asked

"I will sneak out later and get us some stuff" He told me with ha small smile

"Okay, we I will grab a shower, you want to go and get some clothes?" I asked

"Sure, I saw a clothes shop literally next door" he said 

"Cool, could you also grab tooth brush and a hair brush for me?" I asked 

"No problem" he said walking out the door.

Weird.

Why was everything so awkward all of a sudden 

I walked into the bathroom and turned on the shower when there was a knock on the door.

I walked over and answered it.

There I was met with Jake 

"Hi?" I asked

"Hey, so me and Lucy are going down to grab that drink, if you want to join us we usually sit in the back booth." he smiled

"Okay, thank you. Well I am jumping in the shower and the husband has popped out for a few minutes. I will talk to him when he is back" I smiled

"Okay" he smiled as I closed the door.

I locked it behind me knowing Mitch took the keys.

I got in the shower and freshened up.

I took a quick shower and wrapped myself in a towel.

I walked out to wait for Mitch when I bumped into him.

"Hey sorry" he said looking away 

"It's fine. I am in a towel" I mensioned 

"Here. I wasn't sure your size so I guessed off look, probably should have asked you before I left." he almost laughed 

"What size?" I asked

"Medium" he guessed 

"That should be fine" I smiled taking the bag off him

"I also got some underwear and toilet stuff" he nodded

"Okay, thank you" I smiled

"I think we should go for that drink tonight" he suggested 

"Really?" I asked walking into the bathroom to try on the underwear.

I placed my same bra on as that never matters.

"I think we need to get them tipsy. Try and get them to slip up. I saw Lucy on the way out, she was dressed really fancy. I guess that this place is very expensive because of how everyone was dressed downstairs. So I got myself a shirt and trousers and you a dress" he said 

"Okay, when shall we head down?" I asked poking my head out the door.

I accidentally caught Mitch in his underwear but he didn't move. 

He just looked at me

"I grabbed this dress." he said walking into another bag he had.

"Wow, who knew you had such goos style" I smirked

"Ha. Ha" he said 

"Thank you." I smiled taking the dress and going to get changed 

I did this and then brushed my wet hair.

I then used the hair dryer in the hotel.

Luckily my hair was naturally straight.

I had no make up but hardly wore it anyway.

I walked out to see Mitch in a outfit.

He looked...hot.

"Wow you look amazing" he said 

"Thank you. You too" I blushed 

"I also got you some shoes. Size 5?" he guessed.

"Bang on again" I smiled 

He handed me a pair of black shoes.

I placed them on my feet before walking to the mirror.

"Not bad Mitch" I said 

"Let's go" grabbing the keys.

We left our room and began walking down to the elevator. 

Once we entered it was silent.

"Hey I just wanna say, you are a great agent, sorry I am always a dick" Mitch said 

"Me too. But you aren't that bad. I actually like your company, but you need to remember there is two of us, not just you" I pointed out

He nodded and smiled

"I've got your back, if you have mine" He said holding his hand out for me to take.

I grabbed it as the doors to the elevator opened.

"They said they will be at the back booth" I said 

I held Mitches hand and wrapped my other arm around his.

We walked in and noticed them straight away.

Due to the fact they were causing a massive scene.

We walked over to them to hear them arguing.

"Hey" I said 

"Oh hey! Sorry sit down" Lucy said sitting down 

"We were just saying we never caught your names in the elevator" Jake said 

"Tom, and this is Sarah" Mitch said 

"Nice to meet you, this is Lucy I am Jake" he smiled.

I sat next to Jake while Mitch took his seat next to Lucy.

This was about to be a long night...
