Thanks For The Memories..

Jeff from where he'd stood, could see that he was now in a white clouded area, where was this and what had just happened? Where was that crazy possessed bitch?! Did they actually get killed or something?

"Ugh, my head is pounding."

The killer muttered as he looked around for any sources of life apart from that of his own. But none could be found it had seemed. What about that hound of his? Had he gotten the help they'd needed. It was then that he felt a large tremor and had to steady himself.

"What the actual fuck?"

Jeff yelped as he jerked his head up. When he did so, his eyes widened...he..he was back to that day, the day he'd met Krysta. How the hell was that and why was he so small now?! What was this?! A Christmas carol?!

"Next I'll be getting a visit from a freaking ghost to mend my terror ways!"

He joked but right enough, a voice did echo out.

"Jefferey...Jefferey can you hear!? It's Slenderman."

Jeff looked left and right but couldn't see the faceless demon anywhere at all, was this a drunken stupor, had he actually just drank too much and he'd been imaginging this from the start?!

"Look, I fucked up. But I might have sent you into a kind of mind scape inside of the girls brain, she's fighting for control of her body. You have to find her inner self and make her win , at this point she's losing her soul and if she does she won't only die. But Zalgo will be reborn...neither is a cost I'd like. So, find the girl, try and get her in control long enough for me to seal Zalgo back. We are currently on the move to the Dark Relics where he was sealed years ago. Time is of the essance-"

The link was severed but at least he'd known what to do in some sense . Jeff looked around and tried to focus, if this was her mind...then he had to go through stages of her life he had guessed...would this mean, he'd finally know the truth behind her and if she really was as innocent as she claimed from the start.

"Only one way to find that out...and that's to go through the phases I guess..."

---

Walking forth, he entered the memory and felt a cold shiver run through his body. This sense of déjà vu was nerve wracking. But he guessed if it helped him in any sense, it was good enough. This memory was not one he remembered well, what part of the night was this one?

"Krystal."

Called the girls mother as she waited on her at the porch, the young child Krysta waved bye to Jeff and ran in to greet her mother.

"Honey, listen I don't want you hanging with that boy anymore."

Stated the woman as she looked out the window.

"Why? He's the only real friend I have here!"

Insisted the annoyed 10 year old to her mother as she huffed and puffed her cheeks, how dare her mother order her what to do and who to speak to. Krystal's mother just sneered and slapped her across the face.

"I said no, so I mean it damnit, he's not a good person!"

The memory faded with a very upset Krysta running to her room and crying.

---

Jeff was standing there in shock, so...her mother had ordered her not to speak to him...yet she'd still snuck out to see him anyhow...she'd lied..but she'd lied to spend time with him.

A feeling of confusement washed over his body and he just stared at the white space around him. Was this what he was supposed to do? Walk into events of her life that surrounded him and find out the real truth, would this help her regain her control? Or would this set his own mind to ease.

"...whatever, where's the other memory."

Shaking his head, he walked into the white mist once more, not really knowing where it would lead him, but he did start hearing light sobs from all around. It seemed the more he walked and discovered, the louder the voices would get maybe.

Stepping on a part of the mist had spiralled him into another memory, this one was in a police officers room. Had this been after her father got him arrested maybe? Watching on, Jeff remained silent.

---

Krysta was silent as the police man questioned her about Jeff and the things he'd done to others. But the girl refused to believe that he'd hurt others, when he'd been so nice to her . She also knew he wouldn't hurt her on purpose, he was trying to save her.

"Jefferey didn't try and kill me!"

The young girl shouted out.

"Humans are bad! He wanted to save me! You can't tell me he's evil when he's the one doing the saving!"

The police officer just sighed and instructed the two others to escort her out of the room.

"You'll never find Jeff! Cause he never sleeps and he never rests!"

----

Again, he was transported back to the same space. Had he really abused her all this time without knowing a single thing...had she told him the gods honest truth from the start...or had he been deluded this whole time. It made little sense to him..

Blinking , he looked up again and gripped his hands into a fist. He had to find more out, he had to get to the end of this and find out just how much he'd not known from their past.

"Damn it, I hate not being able to control this shit!"

He snapped and stormed ahead, just like before, he was spiralled into a new memory, but this was one he knew pretty well. This was the night before he tried to kill her and set her free. But what could she possibly have remembered that was worth keeping.

Staring into the memory, he started to get tremors...the same ones that he felt, when he'd killed his family that night so many years ago.

This memory, was either going to be really joyful, or , it would fill him with shivers galore.

"It's now, or it's never..."
---

The memory consisted of her and him sitting at a a sunset like they'd always done, but she was looking more sad than normal. This confused the younger Jeffery and he hugged her.

"....Jeffery...promise me something."

She said lowly as she hugged him, her tears drenching his sleeve. Jeffery felt his body freeze and his heart snap as he just nodded.

"If..if one day, something happens...and ..and I can't play with you no more....please...please say you'll not hate me...."

The young girl sobs and cried harder than she ever could. Jeffery just smiled and wiped her tears away from her eyes.

"Course I won't, cause , you and me, we're besties...and besties never fall out."

Krysta just hiccuped and nodded as she cuddled back into the male and smiled widely.

"Forever!"

-----

From deep in his long decayed heart, he felt a tremor of pain. Yea...yea he was slowly remembering fragmented bits and pieces of the past. That promise .. He never kept it...after she left, he hated her just like the rest of humanity....the memory of it just caused deep wounded pains to reopen and bleed all over his psyche once more.

The deeper he went, the more intimidating the thoughts of what she remembered began to feel. But he knew that in order to free her from the demon, he had to relive all her past. Even if it did hurt to see the monster he slowly became.

"Gotta find the other ones...I hear her voice getting louder and louder."

Jeff said to himself as he once again, started to journey into the white mist of Krystal's memories.

----

From the outer realm, Candy pop had managed to crack his mirror enough to smash through. NightTerror screamed as he felt his body be dragged back inside of it again.

"And stay there, you worthless side effect."

Pop said as he stretched and then listened to the mirror laughing.

"Even with your escape, your running low on time. Zalgo will take the girls body and then, we will forever rule the dimensions of human and monster."

Night Terror just chuckled.

"No, I refuse to believe that...and if know that the girl will prevail. Just like Jeff will too."

Pop shut the mirror over and stared out at the mist covering the trees.

"They have to."

------
