Chapter 14: The Problem (Part 2)
Third Person POV
Ba-dump.

Cold.
Ba-dump.
Ba-dump.
Hot.
Ba-dump.
Ba-dump.
Sick.
Ba-dump.
Ba-dump.
Issei was restless, tossing and turning in his slumber or rather he tried to sleep. Sweat ran down his forehead as he began to breath heavily, trying to catch his breath as he slowly opened his eyes.
His pupils were shrunken and a little red, the faintest sight of dark bags under the boys eyes could be seen as he didn't know what was wrong with him. His body felt hot, like he was being stabbed in the chest by a burning metal rod while being covered in flames. But he also felt cold as well, like he being forced under the water of an ice bath in antarctic.
Ba-dump.
Ba-dump.
Ba-dump.
His throat felt dry, like it was cleared up with sandpaper which made it hard to even swallow his own saliva. He could feel his heart beating against his chest as the sound echoed throughout his ears like a pair of drums being played right next to him.
The poor boy was so confused, what was happening to him? why is this happening? he was perfectly alright not to long ago and now he feels like he's going through the flu without even being sick.
Issei gripped the bed sheet tightly as his head was throbbing in pain, his stomach felt like it was being turned inside out by something unseen. It was too much for Issei, too much pain for him to handle.
In an instance, he hanged his head over the side and of the bed and let it out. However, vomit didn't come out of the brown-haired boys mouth.... instead a black liquid did, only it stopped after a few seconds which caused Issei to cough.
Issei: "W-what the...."
With the help of the moonlight, Issei got a better look at what just came out of his month. Whatever it was, it certainly wasn't vomit and the color of it was something else. He had never seen this sort of black color, back in his world there was this type of black paint called Vantablack which is supposedly meant to be the darkest shade of black in the world.
However, the substance in fornt of Issei's face right now took the cake. It was darker than the shadows around the boy, even with the moonlight shining onto it... there was no reflection. It was like he was staring into the abyss, like the one the fell in after he defeated Riser Phenex.
Issei coughed once more, closing his eyes for a second but when he opened them again thr substance on the ground was gone which caused his eyes to widen. He looked around, not fast due to his splitting headache but not slow either. Was it all in his head? Did he just imagine it all?
Not it had to be real, it felt real to Issei. But maybe this is a side effect of being in another world, maybe his body isn't used to this one yet and is rejecting it.
Either way, there's no way that Issei was going back to sleep at this rate. Not if he's just gonna end up like that again, so he may as well get up and do something to pass the time while he's at it.
Issei: 'Hey, Ddraig...'
Silence.
Issei: 'Ddraig?'
Silence again.
Issei let out a small sigh.
Issei: 'DDRAIG, WAKE THE FUCK UP!'
Ddraig: ['Who, what, when, where!?']
Issei: 'Its me....'
The dragon groaned in annoyance.
Ddraig: ['Partner, why are you up at this time? your first day of the academy starts soon and you need sle-']
Issei: 'I had another.... nightmare'
Immediately this gained Ddraig's attention, he quickly checked his hosts memories and something did happen but the dragon can't seem to be able to see what exactly. Every time he tries, its only ends up blurred and when he tries to use his power to break through.... nothing works.
Ddraig: ['Your right, Partner. You did have something and I'm unable to see what....']
Issei: 'Again!?'
Ddraig: ['Im afraid so...']
This was starting to concern Ddraig, if this keeps up than he isn't sure what may happen to his partner. He could end up dying and that is the last thing he wants to happen. He has started to grow attached to Issei, finding the boys determination interesting. Although, his perverted side was gonna be an annoyance and he had the feeling it would bring great sadness to the dragon.
Speaking of which, Ddraig has kept an eye on Issei's evil pieces and for some reason they have lost all their color. Issei was still half devil, but the pieces weren't active or anything. It was like they were in a state of limbo almost, which is probably why Gremory hasn't found the brown-haired boy yet.
Ddraig has existed before the devil's introduced their Peerage's, but he never bothered to understand the evil pieced and what they could do besides turn someone into a half devil. However, maybe Ddraig can study Issei’s and grasp a better understanding of them.
Ddraig: ['So, Partner. What are you gonna do? Your wide awake now and so am I?']
Issei: 'How about a little testing?'
Ddraig: ['Testing?']
Issei took out his pen and smiled, the gem within the item shining from the moonlight rays.
(Time Skip Brought to you by BESTO FRIENDO)
A new day had dawned over the Human tribe capital. The sun rose high in the sky, casting its warm glow upon the land, nurturing the landscape, including the grass, the trees, and the animals that called this world home.
Inside her dorm room, Isabella slowly began to awaken from her slumber. Her vision was partially blurred, making it difficult to discern the shape of something unfamiliar on her bed.
Her eyes widened in alarm as she swiftly reached for her sword, which was conveniently placed next to her bed. With her weapon in hand, she pointed it towards the intruder, who appeared to be oblivious to her presence. Isabella couldn't be certain, though, as her blurry vision persisted due to just waking up.
Isabella: "Who are you, and why are you in my room!?"
However, after receiving silence as a response from the intruder. Isabella's vision cleared up and she noticed that the so called intruder was actually a stone statue. She slowly sat up and raised an eyebrow in confusion as she got a better look at it.
It definitely was a statue, one of her at that but it was dressed weirdly. It was wearing a dress and had s pair of rabbit ears on its head, plus there was a plate with a cake in its hands.

Isabella: "What the?..."
As she was wondering where the statue came from, she immediately noticed two things. The first was that, there were more weird things in her room. One appeared to be some sort of weapon that she had no clue about, one looked like a small creature, like a dragon but with a wolf body maybe, while the rest were weird cube-like objects.

The second thing she noticed was that Issei was nowhere to be found, which confused her because normally she was the one who woke up early while he slept in like a complete useless idiot. But that didn't seem to be the case now, so she put two and two together and figured it out.
Isabella: 'This must be that idiots doing...'
Isabella placed a hand on her face and gently rubbed her forehead, realizing how exhausted she must have been to not hear any noise. However, what puzzled her was how Issei had managed to move without her noticing. The last time she had seen him, he was almost as pale as a ghost. Now, waking up to find him engaged in such strange activities left her utterly bewildered.
Words failed to capture the depth of confusion that the former Demon Queen was experiencing. The shapes and actions before her simply didn't make any sense. She couldn't help but wonder what kind of peculiar madness existed in the boy's world.
Deciding not to delve further into the mystery, Isabella proceeded to get dressed in her casual attire. She carefully selected her garments, ensuring practicality and ease of movement. Picking up her trusty sword, she felt its familiar weight in her grip, providing a comforting sense of security. With determination etched on her face, she made her way toward the door.
As her hand reached for the doorknob, a sudden intuition gripped her. Her instincts, honed through years of survival and battles, whispered to her that something was watching. Alarmed by this realization, a wave of concern washed over her. There was a chance that the presence observing her could be a demon sent by her betrayer, or perhaps a spy from within the human tribe seeking to uncover her true identity.
Suppressing her mounting apprehension, Isabella chose to feign indifference to the perceived threat. She maintained a composed facade, pretending as if it were nothing more than a figment of her imagination. Resolute, she continued her journey, stepping out of the room, unaware of the watchful gaze upon her.
Little did the former Demon Queen know that she was indeed being observed. However, the source of this surveillance was not affiliated with either the human or demon tribe. From the depths of darkness beneath her bed, a pair of glowing purple eyes emerged abruptly. Their luminous hue exuded an eerie aura, causing the air to grow silent and thin. Fixated on Isabella, these eyes seemed to possess a malevolent intent, as if harboring sinister motives yet to be revealed.

Meanwhile at the Forging Branch.
The forging branch were all gathered around their teacher to begin today's lesson, but there was one slight problem and that was that Issei hasn't showed up yet.
Mr. Martin was wondering where the brown-haired boy was, he seemed very excited to be apart of the class and now he hasnt showed up. Maybe he has either forgotten or is being held up by something important.
Mr. Martin: "It's late, why has Issei not arrived yet?"
Glasses: "Teacher, would you like me to go call him?"
The forging teacher shook his head, he shouldn't hold the rest of the class up for Issei. If the boy is being hold up by something than he'll turn up when he's done, no reason to just stand around and do nothing.
Mr. Martin: "No need, let's begin todays class"
However...
???: "SORRY IM LATE!"
The whole forging class perked up as they turned to the source of the voice and saw Issei coming toward them, only he seemed to be riding some sort of object which they had no idea about.

As he rode past them, they were all perplexed by what they were seeing. They had never seen such a thing, even Mr. Martin was left in awe and confusion by the contraption in front of him.
Mr. Martin: "Issei, what is that thing?"
Issei chuckled at his teacher's question as he stopped the bike and looked at him, he had to say that their looks of confusion was pretty hilarious.
Glasses: "Issei, what is that? it looks like some sort of new rich kids toy"
Issei couldn't help but sweatdrop a little, although his classmate did kinda have a point since if bikes were in this world than only the rich would have access to them while the poor don't. Technically its the same in his world, but only for like the REALLY expensive ones and besides that everyone should generally have one or had riden one once in their lives.
Ddraig: ['So, how you gonna explain this to them?']
Issei: 'Complete Bullshit?'
Ddraig: ['....']
Issei: '....'
Ddraig: ['....']
Issei: '....'
Ddraig: ['Yeah, that works']
Issei silently chcuckled as he got off the bike and cleared his throat.
Issei: "This is my new invention, I call it the Bike and I was thinking it could be used as a form of transportation and fun as well!"
Mr. Martin looked at the bike with curiosity as he kneeled down to it, dragging his finger across the contraption. He had never seen such a creation, definitely different to the ones he had seen long ago.
Mr. Martin: "Ive only ridden in a horse carriage and the Dwarf tribe steam engine before"
He looked up at Issei.
Mr. Martin: "But this is the first time I've ever seen a human powered mode of transportation"
Issei scratched the back of his head as he chuckled a little.
Issei: "Thanks, Teacher..."
???: "Issei! Issei!"
Issei turned and was immediately surrounded by the rest of his classmates, who looked at the with stars in their eyes which made the boy sweat a little.
Glasses: "Can we please try it!"
While the boy was taken aback by this request, he soon grew a bright smile and gave them all a thumbs up.
Issei: "Sure, go for it!"
However, as soon as they all turn to the bike... Mr. Martin was already on it, much to the annoyance of the rest of the class while Issei sweatdropped.
Mr. Martin: "My apologies, I simply couldn't control myself"
The class sighed.
Glasses: "It's alright, we can wait!"
The forging teacher than looked at Issei.
Mr. Martin: "Issei, how do you exactly use this thing?"
Issei procceded to teach Mr. Martin how to ride a bike, he struggled a little bit but after a while he managed to get the hang of it and began riding off like a champ. Issei was glad that his invention was being liked by the people of this world, the boy with glasses even said that something like the bike could potentially influence many generations to come.
Issei did get a little cocky, not out right in front of them but in his head that they haven't even seen things like cars, plans, or even guns yet. Although, Issei knew that it wasn't gonna be easy to make things like that because he discovered something during his testing last night with Ddraig.
The pen functions by thought, the properties of the materials are generated through whatever he is currently thinking of but turns out its more than just that.
Issei was excited because he thought that he only needed to draw something simply to create what he desired, but the teacher said that high-level gold alloy was needed to create much larger structures without any input. The entry level one Issei had only required a small amount of material from the world to create his items.
The first thing he created was a phone. However, this didnt last long because it was unstable and basically useless to the brown-haired boy. He wondered why that seemed to be the case, but Ddraig mentioned that phone or in the dragons words our "pocket devices" had internal workings as well.
This was a big slap in Issei's face, he couldn't create a phone because he doesn't know the inner workings of one. Plus, even if it did manage to work he had no way to contact anyone since there wouldn't be any service in this new world. Anyways, he did do some more tests which ended up with him using all of the Gold Alloy he had which annoyed him since he only received it yesterday and it was now gone.
Mr. Martin: "So, you drew a bunch of experimental creations?"
Issei scratched the back of his head.
Issei: "Y-yeah, I wanted to see what were the limits to my ideas..."
The boy with the glasses came up to Issei.
Glasses: "What sort of things did you draw?"
Issei: "Eh... I wouldn't worry, they were all flops anyway"
He turned his attention back to his teacher.
Issei: "So, can we go and get me some more"
Mr. Martin nodded his head as he and his class began to walk off to the forging class, for some reason he gets the feeling that his classmates are gonna demand him to make more bikes since their teacher unfortunately broke the first one he made. But in his defense, Issei should've drawn brakes onto it but totally forgotten.
Ddraig: ['I told you that it was missing something']
Issei deadpanned.
Issei: 'Yeah, yeah. I know that now'
After a while, the class soon arrived at the forging class where Issei handed his pen over to his teacher who walked over to a container. He then opened it and took out a small glowing gem, which was the Gold Alloy stone and placed it into the pen.
Mr. Martin: "Were almost out of stones..."
He handed the pen over to Issei who took it.
Mr. Martin: "Please use them conservatively"
Issei nodded his head. Sure, he was glad that he could technically keep working on his experiments with Ddraig's assistance but his teachers words concerned him a little. Were they really running out of stones? they way he's making it sound like he was hoping it wouldn't come to this or something.
Issei: 'Can't he just order some more stones?'
Ddraig: ['Its probably not that simple...']
Mr. Martin looked at his students.
Mr. Martin: "Today, I'll teach you all how to tell the difference between the different Gold Alloy stones and their uses"
The class immediately sat on the gorund, with glasses and another boy dragging Issei to the floor too. Sitting on the ground made him feel like he was 10 years old, he just hoped he wouldn't be sitting for long since he wanted to get back to experimenting.
The class watched as their teacher placed the container on the table, pressed a button and watched as it unfolded to reveal multiple layers with three having Gold Alloy stones.
Mr. Martin: "Do any of you know why we put the stones into pens rather than using them straight as they are for our forging needs?"
Glasses: "Its because the power of the stones is too great, using them like that would be difficult to control and it would also harm the user"
This gained Issei's attention, the stones power can harm the user. Ddraig didnt detect anything from the stone in his pen, but maybe it can't affect Issei because he isn't from this world. Maybe the power of the stones only affect those who reside within this world, but yet he can still use it....
Mr. Martin: "That's right, two decades ago I used to visit the Dwarf tribe often to improve my craft..."
Issei: 'Dwarves....'
Mr. Martin: "They already embedded the stones within their hammers to use as forging tools, the items that were forged from this tool were beautiful yet durable. But the use user would suffer bodily harm... Afterwards I thought of maturing the stones so that they could be used on smaller tools"
He then grew a small smile.
Mr. Martin: "After large amounts of research, I found a great way of controlling the stones power which was creating objects by drawing them"
Issei: 'So this is the root of all forgery, definitely not what I was expecting...'
Ddraig: ['Agreed, Partner. But something is as you would say lacking....']
Issei: 'Yeah, I know...'
Issei raised his hand.
Issei: "Teacher, where do the Gold Alloy stones come from?"
Mr. Martin: "There is a stone mine in the east boarder of the capital. All of the stones we use originate from there"
Glasses: "Teacher, I heard that the mine is also the Gold dragon's area of residence"
This gained both Ddraig and Issei's attention, a gold dragon? The Welsh Dragon had been curious if there were actually any dragons in this world, of course there was the one from the story which the knights use to honor but besides that no one has mentioned a dragon up until now.
Issei was surprised as well, but he was wondering why they haven't killed the creature yet or at least driven it out of the cave. If they did that than they would have an easier time collecting the stones without any problems.
Mr. Martin: "This is why his majesty specifically tasks the purple dragon team to collect the materials, they're responsible for bringing back the stones and refining them. They also sell them afterwards for military funding"
He then picked up one of the stones from the container, one similar to the one he placed in Issei's pen.
Mr. Martin: "This stone here coasts around 10 golden coins"
Issei heard his classmates shocked comments about how expensive the stone was, confusing the boy as he looked at his classmate with the glasses.
Issei: "Hey, Modo. How much can you get for a single golden coin?"
Modo: "Oh, one golden coin will be enough for fifty bags of food, but one bag is enough for an adult for an entire month"
When the boy said those words, Issei's eyes nearly shot out of his head from how shocked he was. Hell, even Ddraig was shocked as the brown-haired boy could hear a loud thud noise within his head which kinda gave him a small headache. There was no way that what Modo said was true, there is no way that a single coin can give someone that much food.
Can it....?
Ddraig: ['What the hell! one bag is enough for a whole month! and you get fifty for only a single coin!']
Issei: 'I-I'm just as shocked as you, Ddraig...'
Ddraig: ['Are all of your bloody Isekai's like this!?']
Issei: 'This is first one I've ever been one! So how the fuck am I meant to answer that question!?'
Mr. Martin: "These crystalline stones are the lowest tier of Gold Allow stones"
Issei raised his hand.
Issei: "How many tiers are there?"
Mr. Martin: "A few, like the one I just showed you. There is also medium tier stones which go up to fifty golden coins for a single stone"
Everyone was shocked by hoe much the stones cost as their teacher held up the container with the medium tier stones inside.
Mr. Martin: "These stones have the power of three low tier stones combined together, the magic aspect stacks and they contain three times the magical power of the lower tiered stone. The only benefit of having these is that they work a bit more efficiently than the lower tier stones, they also have an extra function which can put them at a higher price"
He then closed the container.
Mr. Martin: "But we dont really need to talk about that extra function, cause...."
He smiled and gestured to three containers, each had a stone inside of it which was a different color.
Mr. Martin: "These are the high tier Gold Allow stones"
Issei stared at the stones with curiosity, his classmates were whispering among themselves at how expensive the high tier stones would be while the brown-haired boy was more curious on why they were different shades of color. The previous tiers all looked the same in color, why were the High tier stones so different?
Issei: "Hey, Teach. Why are they different colors?"
Mr. Martin smiled.
Mr. Martin: "Excellent question, Issei. You see each of these stone weild something different from the other"
He pointed at the blue one.
Mr. Martin: "The blue is called the Aqua-magical stone which has water and wood properties. You can use any scrap wood to forge items that result in high quality wood, the value of this stone is 100 Golden coins"
He pointed at the purple stone.
Mr. Martin: "This purple stone is called the purple-bolt stone, it harnesses the element of electricity. The stone can use strokes to cut down items, it cn also calibrate items that are our of sync. Unlike the Aqua-magical stone, this one cost around 300 golden coins"
He then pointed at the final stone.
Mr. Martin: "The red stone is called the fire-crystal stone, its native element is fire and metal. It turns input materials into metal and hardens already existing metals, its also more pricey than the Purple-bolt stone with the price being around 500 golden coins"
Issei was glad to understand the differences between the three stones, but he along with his classmates were left absolutely shocked by how expensive the stones were. They would have to pay around 900 golden coins to just get all three and times that by how many they actually want which is a price that Issei doesn't want to even think about.
He questions how the hell the former forgery class managed to get all that money, there's no way that the capital has an infinite supply of coins laying around somewhere.
Teacher Martin, seeing the shicked and horrified expressions of his students couldn't help but chuckle a little as he grew a smile.
Mr. Martin: "I know, but these expensive items aren't used very often. Rich magicians would embed these three stones on the top of their staff and would use them as a substitute when their magic runs out. The fire-crystal stone summons fireballs, the purple-bolt stone can cast thunderstorms and the Aqua-magical stone can bring out waves of water"
This gained Issei's attention, if someone like him had those stones than he could manipulate magic withou the need of Boundary Force. Sure, he should be focusing on more important stuff such as getting stronger with the Boosted Gear but there's a problem with that which is he can't find anywhere to train.
If he could than he would, but he cant due to the barrier and he is pretty sure that many will be drawn to a mysterious green light followed by a noise shouting "Boost" over and over again. Plus, there's also his Dragon Shot attack, that would light up the night sky like a star on a Christmas tree.
So until he can find a way to get out of the capital after learning as much as he can, he has to lay low and not use the Boosted Gear.
Mr. Martin soon took out his pen.
Mr. Martin: "Now, I'm gonna tell you about the one embedded in my pen, The Pale-moon stone"
He smiled.
Mr. Martin: "These are considered Ultra-rare Alloy stones, within the entire human tribe I am the only one that holds this stone"
Issei: 'Jeez, it must be powerful....'
Ddraig: ['You have no idea...']
Issei: 'What do you mean?'
Ddraig: ['That stone doesn't require any input materials to forge item's through it, if you had that stone than you could easily take over this whole world']
Issei's eyes widen by his partners words, he could take over the whole world. Sure, he could technically do that if he had totally mastery over the Boosted Gear but with the knowledge of his world and that pen... Ddraig is correct, that is a terrifying combination.
No one could stand in his way, the only ones he believes could stand a chance is Sophisas, The Regent, and Isabella.... But Issei wouldn't want to harm her, she was his only shot to get back home. Plus, why would he hurt her? she was a beautiful young woman with tons of potential so doing something like that would be wrong, but he shouldn't gets his hopes up.
First, if Issei did develop feelings for Isabella she wouldn't feel the same way back. She was a demon, the queen of demons in this world and while Issei was technically demonic in his world, in this one he's nothing more than a mere human being.
Second, after he helps Isabella return to the demon plains and regain what was stolen from her than Issei will no longer be needed anymore. She could very well just kill the brown-haired boy after he helps her, kinda like how Yuuma did after their first date together. That also leads into the third and final thing, Issei hasn't fully recovered from what happened to him back then.
Sure, physically he is perfect but mentally he is having doubts of dating anyone after the incident with the Fallen Angels. Its kinda the reason why he hasnt bothered to ask Rias or the other girls to be his girlfriend, despite wanting to become the Harem King.
The memories have replayed throughout the boys mind over and over again, not constantly to the point that he goes insane but on some occasions they appear. Maybe one day he'll finally get over it, maybe then he'll finally grow some balls and ask Rias and the other girls out for some dates.
But until then, he's just gotta focus on what's in front of him.
Issei listened as Mr. Martin went on to explain that when he was younger he studied forgery with the Dwarf tribe, a tribe which is very shut off and tends to not communicate with any of the other tribes. However, they saw how determined Martin was to learn from them and took him in under their wings, as their first and only student.
While studying under the dwarf tribe, he gained their trust and their friendship. Together, they made many things together, including the new method of forgery which was a huge accomplishment for both Mr. Martin and the dwarf tribe.
They also had the Pale-moon stones, only four of them but due to his accomplishments within the tribe and gaining their trust. The Dwarves decided to reward Martin by giving him one of the stones, which he happily accepted and promised to use the stone wisely when he returns to the human tribe.
Mr. Martin: "And by using the stone I was given, I created the walls which surround the captital"
Modo: "Woah, that stone must've been an expensive gift!"
Issei stared at the Pale-moon stone and narrowed his eyes.
Issei: 'If the Dwarves have the remaining three, does that mean that they are more powerful than the Demon tribe?'
Mr. Martin: "The power of the Pale-moon stone is infinite, it does not require any input material to forge. But the price to pay for using the stones is that it will extract consciousness from the the user"
Issei: "Consciousness...."
A student raised their hand.
Student: "Teacher, if you're built like that. The effects of the stone shouldn't be that effective on you"
Modo: "Our teacher suffered greatly for the benefit of the kingdom"
Modo pointed at a picture of someone with blonde hair on the wall.
Modo: "Look at that photo!"
Issei looked at the photo and raised an eyebrow, he wasnt sure why but it looked familiar to the boy but he cant seem to put his finger on it.
Maybe it's because of the eyebrows? yeah, maybe that is what feels familiar about it. Although, that just leaves the question... who even is in the picture?
Issei: "Um, what about it?"
Modo sighed, shaking his head.
Modo: "Don't you guys get it yet, that guy is Teacher Martin from ten years ago!"
....
....
....
Forgery Class: "WHAT!!!"
Meanwhile with Isabella.
Isabella, who had a blindfold on her face stood in the middle of a room with her sword drawn. She remained where she was with a serious yet calm expression, despite her eyes being covered up by the fabric as she seemed to be waiting for something to happen.
She was training, training to use her sense of hearing to detect any and all things around her. She steadied her breathing, her ears perking up as she heard a noise approaching toward her.
With one fast motion, she swung her sword and sliced three arrows that had been fired at her in half. She heard the sound of the pieces hitting the stone ground benesth her, but she couldn't focus on that at the moment because she hesrd something else coming at her very fast.
Using her lightning fast agility, she began to dodge by backflipping and quickly sliced three more arrows in half before she stood back up. Her teacher, Dorona watched the former Demon Queen with an impressed smile on her face.
Teacher Dorona: "Well Done"
Isabella panted a little, sweat rolling doen her face as she took the blindfold off and gazed upon her work. While she was proud by what she has done, she knew that she still had a long way to go before she ready for what is to come in the future.
Isabella: 'I'm was already better than this before, its just that I feel more fatigued now when in motion'
Dorona was glad to have a impress student, sure she has to share her with Aisi of all people but that didnt matter. Her skill with the sword was something else, which is to be expected since she was taught how to use one by Dorona's teacher.
Not many catch his eye, you have to be very special to make the God of swords want to train you. Dorona may not know what she did to catch his eye and probably will never know, but whatever she did... she earned the right to be taught by the likes of him.
However, something soon caught Dorona's eye and it caused her to grab Isabella's arm much to her confusion. The teacher turned her arm and revealed a small cut with blood dripping out, signaling that she had been grazed by one of the arrows during her training.
Teacher Dorona: "Remember to practice some more when you leave here"
She then looked over and saw the rest of her students who have unfortunately failed, unlike Isabella. The rest were on the ground with a few with arrows in their knees or arm, acting like big babies about it. The arrows aren't that dangerous, yes they will hurt but they aren't aimed at any part of the persons body which would kill them.
Teacher Dorona: "You skill in swordmanship is greater than these guys, so keep up the good work"
Isabella nodded her head.
Isabella: "Understood, I will practice hard"
(Time Skip Brought to you by Me hating my life since this is gonna be close to a 8k chapter)
The sun slowly began to set over the horizon, changing the once bright blue sky into a shade of orange as many of the students of the Academy began to make their way back to their dorm rooms to call it a day.
Isabella was one of these, approaching her dorm room as she grabbed the door knob. She hasn't found Issei yet which she found strange, the brown-haired would've showed up at some point to check on her but it appears that wasn't the case today.
She hasn't seen him once since last night, when he was all pale and she allowed him to sleep in the bed with her. The former Demon Queen doubts that he would take advantage over her, considering that she would effortlessly end his pitiful life if he even considered doing such an act.
But she was still trying to figure him out, remembering all the strange things that he has done since she summoned him into this world. All the things he has done up until this point, the aura that he had given off is unlike anything she had ever felt before.
Yet, there is a part of her that's feeling something familiar with the aura. Like she has experienced it before meeting Issei Hyoudou, an aura that has been burned into the depths of her memory... one that's filling her with mixed emotions.
Isabella let out a small, tired sigh.
Isabella: 'Just what is he...'
As she turned the doorknob, opening it up to walk into her room. Her eyes soon widen as she was taken aback by a sight in front of her.
Standing in front of her was her two teachers, Aisi and Dorona. However, she saw that they were wearing some strange outfits which she hasn't seen before.

Isabella: "Miss Aisi, Miss Dorona? What are you both doing in my dorm room?"
Silence.
Isabella raised an eyebrow, the two didnt respond to her and they didn't seem to be moving. She slowly approached her magic teacher, looking at her carefully as she reached a hand out.
Isabella: "Hmmm..."
As she touched her teacher's arm, she immediately retracted her hand as it was definitely not her. The texture felt different, more harder than what skin should be so thst only left one simple answer.
Isabella: "These are stone statues!"
After she said that, Issei poked his head from around a corner.
Issei: "Oh, hey. Your back!"
Isabella immediately turned and saw the brown-haired boy, she should've known that he made the statues.
Isabella: "How did you give color to these statues?"
Issei let out a small groan.
Issei: "A long an annoying trial, you would think that I could just dye the input material and boom. But no, I have to made sure I'm specific on where the color goes or else it turns out terrible!"
Isabella walked over to Issei, who turned his attention back to what he was doing which was drawing on some pieces of paper.
Issei: "I'll create some better things in the future, but as they say baby steps"
Isabella raised an eyebrow as she picked up one of the pieces of paper, looking at what is drawn onto it.
Isabella: "What is all of this?"
Issei: "Oh, these are things that my teacher gave me. They're blueprints he brought back from his time at the dwarf tribe"
Isabella: "The Dwarf tribe...."
Issei grew a small smirk.
Issei: "It seems like knowledge of the Dwarves have already surpassed that of the demon tribe, they discovered things that your people have never seen befo-"
Before Issei could finish his sentence, Isabella kicked him in the ass which sent the boy crashing into a wall.
Issei: "Ow...."
He glared at the former Demon Queen.
Issei: "The hell was that for!?"
Isabella: "With creating all these things, aren't you worried about exposing your identity!?"
Issei sat up, grunting in pain as he rubbed the back of his head.
Issei: "Of course I'm still worried, but no one in this world even knows or understand half the things I'll make"
Isabella didn't listen as she grabbed the brown-haired boys ear, much to his annoyance.
Isabella: "What was with that statue next to the bed yesterday? I would never wear such a thing. What are you hinting at here!?"
Issei: "I wasn't hinting at anything! I was testing the limits of my pen!"
Isabella then pointed at the statues of Teacher Dorona and Aisi.
Isabella: "And ehat about these?!"
Issei: "Like I said, I wanted to see if I could add color cause I was tired of the material being pla- wait, what are you doing!"
Isabella glsred at Issei as she raised a fist, much to the boys horror as he knew what was coming.
Issei: "No, no, no!"
(Time Skip Brought to you by Ark Survival Ascensded)
A new day had risen over the captital as Issei was riding toward where his classmates were on a new bike which he created, an unhappy expression on his face as he had a black eye due to the punch he received from Isabella.
He understood her anger, but did she have to punch him with such force? like what the hell, he's lucky that she doesn't have her full power otherwise she would've sent his head flying off his shoulders with a single blow.
Onw day, one day he'll show her his strength. One day he will show Isabella that he wasnt just some weakling that could be walked all over by those like her, he wasnt sure when it will happen but it will... and he will be ready to see her reaction.
Ddraig: ['So what are you gonna tell your classmates about your eye?']
Issei: 'Eh, it will be fixed by the next scene'
Ddraig: ['Wait, what?']
Issei kept riding his back, until he came across his classmates who seemed to be in distress. He heard them muttering to themselves, asking what should they do and what not which confused Issei.
Although, Ddraig was more confused because his partners black eye was gone which shocked the dragon to no end. Last time he checked, Issei didnt have anything to fix his eye so how the hell did he just have it a moment ago and now it was gone like nothing happened?
Ddraig: ['The hell kind of sorcery is this!? how!?']
Issei: 'Two words, Ddraig. Plot convince'
This only confused Ddraig even more as Issei stopped in front of his classmates, getting off his Bike and walking over to them. Modo heard the footsteps and quickly turned and saw Issei approaching them.
Modo: "Issei!"
Issei: "Hey, Whats going on?"
Modo: "Our Teacher went into the Gold Alloy mine"
Issei's eyes widen in surprise, Mr. Martin went into the mine which had the Gold Dragon's he mentioned. What was he thinking? Why would he go into the mine all by himself? Didn't he say that the Purple dragon team were the ones who are meant to collect the Gold Alloy stones for the forgery class?
Something doesn't feel right, he asked Modo what happened and thr boy with glasses went on to explain that he, Mr. Martin as well as few other students went over to the Purple dragon team base to purchase some more stones since they were getting low.
However, appearantly the purple dragon team leader wouldn't sell the stones because the prices have increased threefold due to his majesty sending troops to attack the Eastern tribe which has impacted thr military funding significantly.
Modo: "And after that, Teacher went into the mine all on his own!"
Issei was left absolutely shocked, angered, and horrified. Firstly, he understood what his teacher was feeling but going into the mine all by hismelf is a foolish decision. It doesn't matter if he is older and probably more experienced than the rest of them, all that doesn't matter if he gets attacked from behind by one of those Gold Dragon's in the mine or if a Purple dragon knight is ordered to kill Teacher Martin.
Secondly, he should've known that some snob was behind all of this. Its always the ones who care about money, in fact of Riser was here right now than he would probably be the one who said all of that or just increased the price yet again just to fuck with people because he could.
Lastly, Issei was horrified to hear that they were attacking the eastern tribe. While he hasnt met anyone from the other tribes, just randomly attacking them for no reason isn't the way to end conflict. What the hell is going on in the captital, why would the king allow such a thing to happen?
Now the other tribes will have a reason to possibly unite together and wipe the human tribe off the face of the planet, Issei isnt sure many tribes are left since all the ones he does know of are the Drawf Tribe and the Demon Tribe. There could be an elf tribe, a cat people tribe, or who knows what.
Actually, now that he thinks about it there is absolutely no way it was the king who decided on this action. Yes, it was definitely.... him. The Regent, that bastard was the one who killed Isabella's guards and that magician lady when he arrived in this world. He and his Red Dragon Knights are dragging Ddraig's title through the mid without a care in the world, they're all nothing but arrogant bastards.
Issei could hear Ddraig growling within his mind, angry from all of this.
Ddraig: ['Bastards....']
Issei: 'Agreed...'
Issei grew a serious expression.
Issei: "We gotta stop, Teacher Martin at all coast. I'll go find the magic and Swordsmanship teach-"
Modo: "Teachers with classes aren't here today"
This gained Issei's attention.
Issei: "Huh? why not?"
Modo: "The kingdom hosts an annual spring hunt. Prior to the hunt, all teachers have to visit his highness to receive the rules of the year"
Issei's eye twitched.
Issei: "And it just so happens to be.... TODAY!?"
Modo: "Yup...."
Issei cupped his face as he groaned in annoyance, since that idea is now useless he needs to figure something else out.
Issei: "Fine, then I'll go find Sophisas"
Issei turned to walk off, but....
Modo: "No can do, a large portion of the hunt is organized by the white Dragon team!"
Issei stopped walking, his eye twitching some more as he was resisting the urge to just scream at the top of his lungs and say something very racist. Of all times, this so-called god damn Annual spring hunt has to be today's or all days.
But he had to remain calm, he needed to figure out a plan of action. He could go and get Isabella to help, but he doubts that she will be able to handle all the problems that they'll face. The brown-haired boy was definitely gonna need to take Modo, since the mine is in the purple dragon team location and Issei doesn't know where that is just yet.
But he needs some more muscle, someone who can do some heavy lifting and is willing to lend a helping hand.
Suddenly, the ground beneath everyone's feet began to shake which caused the forging branch to look around for the source.
Issei: "Is that a earthquake?"
As the shaking kept going, Issei soon noticed something and turned his head to see a very... interesting sight to say the least. It was Eli, the dude that Issei met from the combat branch. He was heading toward Issei and his classmates, carrying on his shoulders a massive boulder which was easily five times the dudes size.
However, Eli didn't look like he was struggling with the huge rock as he held it with one hand and waved to an elderly man with the other.

Eli: "Good morning, Elder!"
Old Man: "Good Morning, Eli"
Issei: 'Its him....'
The young man placed the huge boulder down, creating a dust cloud which made a few cough as the boy dusted hismelf off and smiled.
Modo: "Here is this month's materials"
Modo: "Eli, Mister Martin has left for the time being. Can he give you the money for the materials after he returns?"
Eli smiled.
Eli: "No worries, I got loads of faith in him!"
Eli was about to walk off as Issei placed a hand on his shoulders, looks like he found the muscle that he was looking for.
Issei: "Eli, do you want to make some more money?"
Eli: 'Oh, its Issei'
Issei turned to Modo.
Issei: "Modo, take me to purple Dragon group. I have some High-level Alloy Stones I need to buy!"
(Time Skip Brought to you by Left. Right. Goodnight)
A couple of purple dragon soldiers were sitting at a table, chatting amongst themselves as all they had to do was guard the gate they were posted at which didnt seem to be too hard.
Purple dragon Soldier 1: "Did that Martin dude really cross straight through here?"
Purple dragon soldier 2: "That's right"
The soldier chuckled.
Purple dragon soldier 2: "Hehe, he said that he wanted to collect stones on his own"
Hearing this caused the first soldier to laugh in amusement.
Purple dragon soldier 1: " Haha, what an idiot. He's gonna get eaten by that Dragon"
He then reached for something, picked it up and began to drink from it.
Purple dragon soldier 3: "He's an Academy teacher after all, he must have a few tricks up his sleeve"
The first then grew a malicious grin.
Purple dragon soldier 1: "Even if he did defeat that dragon, dont forget he's gonna have to get past us first"
The other two soldiers chcuckled, but then the third noticed something in the horizon approaching them.
Purple dragon soldier 3: "Huh?"
Purple dragon soldier 1: "Whats up?"
purple dragon soldier 3: "Somethings coming toward us"
He pointed in the direction, making his comrades turn in the direction to try and see what their friend saw. As soon as they did though, their eyes widen as whatever it was is coming toward them very quickly and it had electricity on it as well which didnt look very friendly to the soldiers.

Purple dragon soldier 1: "Shit! what kind of monster is that!?"
Purple dragon soldier 2: "Its coming for us!"
However, the so-called "Monster" paid no attention to the three soldiers as it smashed through their pathetic barrier like it was nothing, knocking the sokdiers to the ground as it went past them very quickly.
The soldiers were shaking, absolutely traumatized by what they had just experienced as they slowly stood up. Sweat ran down their faces, they have faced their fair share of monsters but whatever that was isnt an average monster.
Purple dragon soldier 1: "There's a monster within the kingdom walls! let out leader know!"
As the soldiers were panicking, the "Monster" kept going in the direction it was heading as it revealed to be a vehicle created by Issei Hyoudou who was behins the wheel, Isabella sitting in the passenger seat while Eli, who looked like he was about to pass out at any moment and Modo were in the back seats.
Eli: "Woah! can't you slow it down a little!?"
Issei didnt listen as he was chuckling maliciously, happy that he scared those purple dragon knights back there.
Modo: "Is this the thing that you created from those steam engine blueprints?!"
Issei: "This thing Modo is called a Car, one that I've added some improvements to such as Electricity!"
Modo: "Electricity!? Are you telling me you bought purple-bolt stones to power this thing!?"
Issei: "Yep!"
Issei looked back at Eli, who looked like he was gonna vomit which he better not. Issei just made this car, its brand new and he wants to keep it like that. Maybe he should draw some vomit bags for Eli, esspecially if he plans of taking him in more vehicles later down the line. Anyways, he looked at him and then Isabella. He didn't have to worry about watching the road, Ddraig was helping the boy out and he was very good.
Ddraig: ['Left']
He move to the left, dodging a tree.
Ddraig: ['Right']
He then move to the right.
Issei: "Alright, Eli. I'm counting on you and Yi Bei for this rescue"
Eli: "Um, Issei. Pay attention to where you going!'
Isabella slapped the back of the boy's head, much to Issei's annoyance as the Demon Queen crossed her arms.
Isabella: "Look at where your going! you want us to crash!?"
Issei rolled his eyes before smirking.
Issei: "Hang on everyone, I'm putting the pedal to the metal!"
Eli: "What does that even mean!?"
Issei sweatdropped as he pushed down on the Gas pedal and the car began to speed up drastically, he was surprised by how well he was doing with this car considering Issei had a terrible record with vehicle video games growing up. He couldn't go a few seconds without crashing into anything, so seeing how well he was doing brought a smile to his face.
Issei: "Modo, which way!?"
Modo: "Down the ramp on the right!"
Issei nodded and he turned the wheel, going down the ramp that Modo told him to go down as he pushed harder on the gas pedal.
Issei: "How much further!?"
Modo: "The cave is just ahead!"
Issei gave a thumbs up as he looked at Isabella with a serious expression.
Issei: "You ready?"
Isabella: "Hmph"
Issei: "Eh, good enough for me"
The group continued to drive, Eli holding on for dear life as they soon came across the Gold Alloy mine. Issei immediately hit the breaks, causing the car to come to a halt in front of the entrance.
They all began to get out of the car, Eli taking the longest due to him not feeling so well. Yeah, Issei is definitely gonna have to make some vomit bags for him whenever he takes him on a vehicle like a car or such. However, ignoring that for now something didnt feel right. Issei narrowed his eyes and looked around, it was oddly... quiet.
Issei: 'Strange...'
He expected there to be a few purple dragon soldiers standing guard, but there was bo one around. Was this the correct cave? Did the guards get called back? none of this seemed right to Issei, like it just felt too easy.
Issei: 'Hey, Ddraig. Does this seem too easy to you?...'
Silence.
Issei: 'Ddraig?'
Silence.
Issei: 'Ddraig, this isnt funny. Answer me'
Issei was once again responded with silence from the welsh dragon which automatically set of red flags in the boys mind, Why was Ddraig not answering him? It couldn't be cause he was tired, he slept at thr same time that Issei did and plus he was just helping the boy with driving like five minutes ago.
So what the hell is going on here? Did it have something to do with the cave? was there something within the cave that was messing with his connection with Ddraig?
First things seemed to be going far to easy and now this, yeah if this wasn't a trap than Issei is both blind and stupid and last time he checked he was only one of those things. They needed to get Teacher Martin and get out here before the purple dragon soldiers return.
At that moment, dust clouds began to erupt from within the cave which caused Issei and the others to cover their face in response. The brown-haired boy gritted his teeth as he soon noticed something approaching them from within the dust cloud, he narrowed his eyes to try and make out the shake but that didnt help.
Issei: "Guys, we got company!"
Everyone prepared themselves as the being cane out fron the dust cloud and it was none othet than, Teacher Martin who was pushing a minecart full of glowing stones which had to be the Gold Alloy Stones with something on his arm.

Issei: 'Wait, is that....'
Modo: "Teacher!"
Teacher Martin perked up and looked to see Issei and the others.
Mr. Martin: "Why are you all here?"
Modo: "Teacher, are you hurt!?"
Martin shook his head, smiling.
Mr. Martin: "No, I am alright, Modo. I could still easily take care of the small ones"
Issei: "Teacher...."
Issei pointed at the device on Martin's arm.
Issei: "Is that...."
Mr. Martin: "Oh, this? its a steam ejector invented by the Dwarves"
A steam Injector, fitting name if Issei had to say but if he could get the blueprint from his teacher and use like fire-crystal stones than its possible that he could make an actual working gun in this world.
Issei made a mental note to ask his teacher about it when they get back from this, speaking of which, Issei turned and looked at the cart full of Gold Alloy Stones. There was a lot there, probably enough for maybe a month or two if possible. However, they wont be usable just yet because they still need to be refined into the stone shapes that are in Issei and Martin's pens.
However....
Issei: "Teacher, I'm gonna take a wild guess.... does the refinery teacher work for the purple dragon team?"
Martin nodded his head.
Mr. Martin: "Yes..."
Isabella: "We got company!"
Everyone perked up as they looked and saw purple dragon soldiers coming out from the forest, Issei gritted his teeth because he knew thst this would happen. It was strange that there was no guards standing in front of the mine's entrance to keep intruders out, so either they were only hoping to catch Teacher Martin or they were dumb to leave their Mine unguarded.
Modo: "Purple dragon Troops!"
Issei watched as many troops came out of the forest, surrounding the brown-haired boy and his friends.
Issei: "This isnt good..."
???: "Hmph, you have some balls Martin!"
Issei turned and saw a middle aged man of average height. He had medium length Tea colored hair stylized as a paintbrush end Pompadour that covers most of his forehead. He had Hurricane colored eyes and a short Fu Manchu mustache.

???: "Dont you know tjat this area is under the protective watch of the purple dragon team!"
Issei looked at Martin.
Issei: "Teacher, who is that?"
Mr. Martin: "That's Yalu, he is the refinery teacher at the academy and is also the purple dragon team practitioner..."
He then sighed.
Mr. Martin: "Yalu, I thought that collecting resources was suppose to be a dangerous thing to do.... Those gorund Dragon's can't even be considered a threat!"
He pointed at the cart full of the Gold Alloy stones.
Mr. Martin: "I mined all of that on my own! You people created lies to up the prices! the people of the kingdom are struggling workers, they have to save up twenty to thirty years worth of pay so that they can have a roof over their heads! and your selling low tier stones at a price that an average person earns over twenty to thirty years!"
Issei's eyes widen, thats how much they increased the price of the stones? why the fuck would they even think that, they're low tier stones for gods sake.
Mr. Martin: "I will inform his majesty of this, we will not be needing your supply of Gold Alloy stones any longer!"
Yalu smirked.
Yalu: "Hmph, even if his majesty allowed you to mine for your own stones. How will you refine them for your own uses?"
Mr. Martin: "Its my fault that I didn't stay long enough to master the arts of refinery from the Dwarves...."
Issei stepped forward with his arms crossed.
Issei: "So what if we cant?can't? After leaving here today, we'll just go to the dwarf tribe and learn to master the technique but..."
Issei glared at Yalu, the boys eyes glowing slightly green which instantly changed to a purple color.
Issei: "All of you greedy bastards are responsible for the increased prices in the captital, you only have yourselves to blame..."
Yalu: "Hmph, you low class citizens are none of my concern. Why should I pay attention to what you have to say? Do you even know the people who are supporting what we're doing out here?"
He then smirked as he snapped his fingers.
Yalu: "I was gonna let you off easy, but now I'm going to bury you here forever!"
The purple dragon soldiers began to approach the group with their weapons pointed at them, Issei knew that this was gonna happen because generic bad guys like Yalubalways try to cover up their tracks by having their minions do all the dirtywork for them. Issei immediately looked at Isabella and Eli, it was time for the plan.
Issei: "Eli, Yi Bei. You both remember the plan!?"
Eli smirked.
Eli: "I remember, clear a large enough area for you!"
Issei nodded his head as the purple dragon troops began their attack, a couple charged toward Isabella with their weapons drawn. The former Demon Queen narrowed her eyes as she effortlessly took the troops down with a single swing of her sword, sending them flying back.
Eli fist bumped his own fist, a orange glow slowly began to cover them.
Eli: "Focus, focus, focus...."
As the troops got closer to him, he narrowed his eyes before smirking and unleashed a powerful shockwave which sent the troops flying.
Eli smirked as one tried to sneak up behind him, but the boy dodged the soldiers attack and grabbed his arm, flipping him over his shoulder and slamming him into the ground.
Eli: "Oh yeah, thats the stuff!"
As Eli laughed, Mr. Martin decided to have a go as well. He raised his steam ejector at some purple dragon soldiers and fired a huge blast of steam, sending the troops flying back.
Many of the remaining troops who were still standing were shocked by what they have seen, not knowing that their opponents would be this powerful and skilled at combat. Modo watched in awe as his comrades held off the enemy, surprised that his teacher was actually able to fight so well.
He then looked at Iseei who took out his pen.
Modo: "Issei, how do you still have time to draw?!"
Issei smirked.
Issei: "This drawing will help us ou-"
BA-DUMP!
Issei dropped his pen, his pupils shrinking ad he grabbed his head which was now throbbing in immense pain. His heart was beating very quickly and very hard, causing his chest to hurt as this sudden action gained Modo's attention.
Modo: "Issei, what's wrong!?"
Issei: "I-I don't know!"
BA-DUMP!
BA-DUMP!
BA-DUMP!
The boy stared coughing, his eyes slowly changing from their usual chocolate brown color to a pure pitch black which caused Modo to take a step back in fear. He had no idea what was happening to his classmate, but whatever was happening was hurting him. He could hear his heartbeat too, it was very loud. In fact, it was so loud that it was drowning out all other noise in the area.
BA-DUMP! BA-DUMP!
BA-DUMP! BA-DUMP!
BA-DUMP! BA-DUMP!
BA-DUMP! BA-DUMP!
Modo turned and looked at Isabella.
Modo: "Yi Bei!"
Isabella: "What!?"
She turned and saw what was happening to Issei, causing her eyes to widen.
Isabella: "Issei!"
Eli and Teacher Martin turned their attention towards Issei as he continued to cough, causing everyone around to stop what they were doing. As the coughing persisted, it gradually subsided, but then something unexpected happened. Issei began vomiting a strange black liquid that seemed to possess a life of its own, moving around as if it were alive.
The sight of this terrified many, including Modo and some of the purple dragon soldiers. They were taken aback by the peculiar nature of the liquid that emerged from Issei's mouth. Yalu, Martin, and Isabella, on the other hand, were perplexed by this phenomenon, as they had never witnessed or heard of anything like it before, especially not a living liquid.
After Issei finished expelling the substance, he collapsed to the ground, causing concern among his friends. They rushed to his side, worried about his well-being and eager to assess his condition.
Meanwhile, the black liquid began to undergo a transformation of its own. It defied gravity and started to rise into the air, appearing as if it were floating. As it ascended, it gradually changed its form, taking on a shape reminiscent of a human. It began to form arms and legs, assuming a humanoid appearance.
Once the transformation was complete, the entity descended and landed next to the cart of Gold Alloy Stones. It raised one of its newly formed hands, examining the front and back before clenching it into a fist. The onlookers were captivated by the eerie sight, particularly Issei's friends, who were astounded to see the substance take on the likeness of their dear companion.
