Duni stared out the window at the yard covered with a multitude of rusty-brown leaves. They appeared to scatter across the entire yard like an endless sea. The yard's a bloody mess, the dark-furred pug thought crossly, what are we supposed to do about that? The question lingered in his mind for a while. What could you do about a large amount of leaves? Raking would take for ages, but-

Suddenly an idea struck. His ears perked and his eyes lit up with excitement. Why didn't he think of this before? Duni pushed himself up onto his paws and went off to find Uni. He poked his head in the room to find Uni sitting at the desk, furiously working on what appeared to be a drawing of sorts. Without hesitation he dashed over to the light-furred pug and grabbed his arm, then pulling him away from the chair. "Duni, what-" However, Uni could not finish his statement as Duni ushered him out of the house.

Once he managed to drag his rather grumpy boyfriend out, Duni motioned him to stay. Uni opened his mouth, about to protest, but the other pug was already off before he could utter a word. Uni gave a little huff and crossed his arms, waiting somewhat patiently for Duni to return. After a few moments he was surprised to see him return with two rakes. Uni raised a skeptical look as Duni handed him one of the rakes, questioning his jovial mood. "Oh come on Mr. Poutyface," Duni teased, "Don't give me that look. We're going to make the biggest leaf pile ever!" Uni looked around the yard, pondering his boyfriend's proposition. Seeing the idea was not a bad one, despite the amount of work required to achieve the goal, Uni gave a big grin. "Let's do this."

The two pugs worked tirelessly to rake up the whole yard. At first they casually went around, chattering here and there. As time went on however, they grew silent and determined to accomplish their task. After about and hour or so, the two stood side-by-side in front of an impressively large pile. Both were panting, but had looks of triumph on there face. Duni glanced at Uni, a slight hint of mischievousness in his eyes. "Well? What are we waiting for? Come on!" He gave a laugh and grabbed Uni's arm, pulling him into the leaf pile. Uni have a yelp as he was pulled in. Leaves scattered and flew, intertwined with the laughter from the two pugs as they wrestled around. All their troubles and worries of the moment drifted away. The atmosphere of the chilly autumn day grew warmer with the two enjoying the company of one another. It was bliss.
