Beginning of Six

Water dripped down from leaky pipes and cracks in the wall as small puddles formed under them in the rusty metal vent. Every so often, a ripple would cross said puddles as the vent would shake. . .before a small foot stepped into one of the puddles and out again, traversing the old vent seemingly.
A small, cold hand clung to the side of the vent as another held up a small lighter, flicking it on as a flame burst to life, illuminating not just the vent, but a dirty yellow raincoat and a face. The eyes were covered by dark brown hair.
The figure now exited the vent after reaching Its end and began walking towards a bed, jumping up and down onto it to gain height as their wet feet began to soak the white sheets, and their lighters flame miraculously didn't go out as droplets of water flung from their raincoat.
They jumped from the bed to an opening in the wall and climbed up it pocketing the lighter in their raincoat, but as they went to touch the floor. . .the old, rotten wood floor gave out beneath even their tiny weight as they could make a quick noise of surprise as they fell down, down, down into the depths below. . .landing in an inky black substance.
They took slow steps as they held their breath, knowing what would happen if they were too loud or turned on their lighter, but alas they needed to do so for sight, and so they did. Retrieving the obje t from their raincoat pocket and flicking it on, revealing the disgusting creatures on the floor now slithering g their way towards the light to snuff it out.
The figure dodged and weaved between the inky little creatures of Satan as they sprinted and jumped around, slamming themselves through a wooden door and into a more open area, quickly picking themselves up and leaping across a gap, landing on the other side with a thud as they let out a small groan. At least those things couldn't reach them now, but they once again got up and kept progressing.

The pitter-patter of quick, tiny footsteps combined with heavy breaths could be heard as the figure now ran through the dark, not even seconds ago pulling a lever and running through bars, and now in the dark with just a lighter. They were trying to beat the clock and make it through the bars before the electricity turned back on, and luckily after knocking over some small blocks they did so and ended up in a dark hallway filled with doors.
They walked down the hallways slowly as to not make too much noise, for they didn't know if someone could be behind those doors, waiting to jump out at the smallest sounds. Upon making it to the end of the hallway they screeched to a halt as they had barely avoided stepping into the light of an eye on the wall, constantly swiveling around like a human eye, looking for people.
The figure in yellow hid behind a wall and waited, thinking to themselves one thing at the moment.
'This would be so much easier with another person'
Little to their information. . .their wish might just come true. . .in more ways than just one. . .
