Storm

Perhaps it was only a hallucination. Why would my father even be here? I closed my eyes for a few seconds when I opened them he was no longer there. I shrugged and got up I had to take the kid to safety. I saw my father again standing a bit far on top of a huge rock I tried to ignore it. Another tree was about to fall on me... when I opened my eyes I realized only part of it hit my head. The rest was cut clean. The need of clean oxygen is making me not think right and see things that are not there. It was like she was in a dream. The sounds of the trees rattle and falling on fire everything was a little louder than usual. The creature became more clear as it got closer. It almost felt like my world was spinning, and I just wanted to sit down. Why wouldn't it go away? After all it's just my mind playing tricks right? Then he came so closed and I heard him say
- Hallo im Feuer geboren
It's in my language. Ironic I'm dying by the fire and he calls me Fire-born. Just exactly how my father used to call me. Even though I thought it was just my mind messing with me I answered.
- Wh-what?
- Forgetting your language so soon son?
As Soon as I heard that voice again I felt that rush in my veins. The creature took off his mask. A cruel sneer formed on his smooth face and he leaned forward, eyes bearing straight into mine. Burning rage hissed through my body like deathly poison, screeching a demanded release in the form of unwanted violence. It was like the volcano currently erupting; fury sweeping off me like ferocious waves. The wrath consumed like, engulfing my moralities and destroying the boundaries of loyalty. Every word stung only fueling the fire that burned inside of me. Every violated phrase was like gasoline to it, my fists began to clench and my jaw rooted. I made eye contact, now I was sure that's not my imagination he's here in front of me. When the final mento had been added to the coke inside of me I exploded with anger, with no control objects levitated and broke. The kid dropped to the floor as the primeval instinct took over.
- Son, it's me...
- I know damn well who you are!
- I just want to help...

In this anger or depression I'm not seeking the happier version of me.

- Help? You know what you did? Because of you I've stopped asking what "optimal" is; I can't recall the last time I reached out for that child-self I once was, the kid who loved sunshine and rain all the same. I started to see darkness... around the lights instead of the other way around! and. soon. there were no more colors... in my world.

I kept on talking, telling him how I felt giving him a piece of my mind. This anger soon turned into something else. My eyes drip with tears. My walls, the walls that hold me up, make me strong just... collapse. I thought he was dead. But, how? Moment by moment, they fall. Salty drops fall from my chin, drenching my armor. There is static in my head once more, the side effect of this constant fear, constant stress I live with. I hear my own sounds, like a distressed child, raw from the inside. It takes something out of me I didn't know I had left to give. That's the way it is when people are hard. It's like a theft of the spirit, an injury no other person can see.
End of Omega's POV

He refused to look away, even as his lips trembled and his shoulders heaved with emotion, unwilling to back down. His dark lashes brimmed heavy with tears; his hands clenched into shaking fists, in a desperate battle against the grief. A lone tear traced down his cheek, and just like that, the floodgates opened. He wept, tears streaming from his deep blue eyes, loud, heaving sobs tearing from his throat, and still he did not look away. Not until the sobs drove him to his knees did his determined gaze fall. When he cried there was a rawness to it, like the pain was still an open wound. He would clasp onto something for support, anything, a table or the back of a chair, and then his whole body would shake. The sobs were stifled at first as he attempted to hide his grief, then overcome by the wave of his emotions he would break down entirely, all his defences washed away in those salty tears. When he at last turned his face to his father he was a picture of grief, loss, devastation. It was the face of one who had suffered before and didn't know if he could do it again. Then, just when he thought the breakthrough would come and he would trust him with his vulnerability, the shutters would come down, his emotion walled off behind a mask of coping. He would just wear it until everything was right again, he didn't know another way.
Meanwhile
Far away from the forest there were the survivors. John was frustrated there was nowhere where they could run and be safe. Drift struck various trees to keep them safe from the but soon enough the Lava or ice will kill them. Other reason why John was not happy because he was not wearing his suit. Instead he was wearing something similar to Battlehawk's regular outfit. Galaxy was trying his best to keep them away as well. Ragnarok came to down near them instantly spotting John.
- Um who's this guy? Looks a lot like John but no quite... something is off
Drift walked really close to John making eye contact with the serious man.
- Hey look! He even has John's disapproving non smile
John said nothing he only narrowed his eyes and crossed his arms as he watched everyone else laugh. Ragnarok placed his hand on the air calling Magnus and the huntress also to catch everyone's attention.
- Silence! Thank you, we need to get everyone to safety. No that i like any of you. But goof and evil has come together for a greater cause. Survive. We need one another to defeat these gods!
Everyone cheered ad John raise his fist to talk.
- I believe we have no option but unite forces. Otherwise we will all die.
Ragnarok nodded as he let Magnus lead everyone to Ragnarok's island.
The blue thunder god stopped Drift as he said
- Now Buddy, listen careful... we have to be careful with the lava, ice, and the storm. Now, that storm has zombies... those are not allies. They are under the control of Raven and the visitor. They want to destroy us to any cost. We are going to need a plan if we want to get rid of them first.
Ragnarok father a few of his people including Drift to tell them his plan. Once they left Ragnarok got closer to his buddy and said
- Alright that's the plan. So Drift, know what to do if you see the zombies?
- Yeah
- what is it?
- Dance!
- Wh- What? No! I literally- okay I'm just gonna go. I hope you can remember some of the plan...
Magnus returned out of breath
- Sir, there's a problem... we have to go through the storm to come back to the island...
- So be it! Let John lead the way. He knows better than all of us

John had returned home with shadow to load his weapons and take all he could. Also to change to back to his suit. Then he made his way to Omega's dragon. Arkady didn't like strangers he growled as soon as he saw the man in the suit approaching. The dragon kept on growling as he staring in to the man's blue emotionless eyes. Most of the people say he has no emotion and doesn't show a passion for anything. Maybe that's just his personality or maybe he's empty inside, emotionless. Although he has feelings for some he doesn't like to show them in public. After all it didn't go so well last time he loved someone.
This is a world that could be regarded as augmented or digital from those who dwell in higher layers of reality, yet we must understand that all reality is subjective depending on perspective. This universe is real to us and so we can simply define it as "reality." We can learn to love our world and care for it, learn to understand ourselves more fully before we venture into the galaxy and beyond.
- Dragon! I'm going to ride and you are going to help me save your master.
Arkady didn't receive orders from anywhere the creature instantly roared louder standing his ground.
- You don't scare me overgrown lizard! Now, you want to help omega or not?

With hesitating the dragon let John get on his back. As they were flying John spotting someone else that looked like Omega.
- what the hell? There are... two, Omegas...

The older alien spotted John as well and ran into the flames making himself disappear. John didn't give it much though and decided to rescue Omega and the kid he was helping.
- Are you okay Omega?
- I'm. Im fine
- Ok good. Let's go
- Wh- what? No! Your people don't want me close...
- Well I decided to join forces with you... that's if you agree on it if course
- Are you offering a truce, John?
- Yes...
- Deal
- Very well. Let's go
They landed near the storm where Omega's and John's allies were. The kid hugged his mother. Omega walked close to the citizens and they all backed away in fear.
The green eyed alien was used to it at this point he didn't give it much thought. His mind was somewhere else thinking about his father's return. Omega, his brother and mother and John were leading the way. While Criterion, Bob, Carbide and Oblivion were all the way on the back. Making sure nobody stays behind.
Criterion grabbed one of the long skinny sticks and used it to scare Carbide. When it touched the back of his blue armor he got jumped scared. He was very nervous never been into the storm before. But Criterion was more relaxed and laughed at the way the blue eyed alien reacted. As they walk further they heard more noises. However, Carbide thought it was Criterion messing with him again. Carbide rolled his eyes as he said
- You might be cute but your attitude is out of control and this is serious I'm tired of constantly having to deal with it.
Criterion stopped for a moment and then smiled as she walked behind him grabbing him by the shoulders.
- Did you say... cute?
Seduction was what Criterion did best, after all everyone in town was dying for the beautiful Kamari. She continue moving into Carbide's personal space with just the right look of heat in her eyes. She didn't just look at a man, she looked into him as if she knew his desires. It had always been written in their gaze, a chemistry, a seed of love, an invitation to learn about the other. Always with a crowd, for so many years of knowing each other, they stood apart, hearts beating all the faster when a chance to talk came. Now they learned a lot about one another. That day Kamari contrived a way for them to be alone, a chance for their bodies to communicate without the need for words with the kiss came the smooth touch of her body, poised, just the right blend of relaxation and tension.

Bob stopped and looked at them both.
Oblivion took off her mask and placed a hand on Bob's shoulder.
- Hey... are you okay?
- Yeah.
He answered quickly and dry
- No you are not bob... oh my god you loved her... how come I never noticed?
- I always did, Takarri... ever since we were kids... I just... I don't know
He stopped and walked ahead of the others. For him love turned to poison, his mind cycles through emotions faster than a kid flipping radio channels.
Bob's POV
I gripped on so tightly despite the fact that my palms where sore and burned. My nails dug deep onto the corroded strings to give myself a better grasp, to give myself one more hope that I would succeed. A tear rolled onto my cheek, but I didn't care; I had to stay focused. I used to tell myself, "I need to stay focused"...but after a lifetime of being oblivious torture, I let go. I realized that she didn't care and so I will stand up and walked away from her. That stupid rope of hope and everything she had done to make me happy. So I can't complain. And... It's not her fault... she's free to choose whoever she wants... that's all I want for her is to be happy
