In the Underground City
Most of the bad were not aware of the icy nightmare of the surface.
Once raven was home, he approached to Ravage and Battle Hound. Ravage looked puzzled at her partner completely covered in ice.
- Well well, guess it's never too cold for ice cream, right battle hound?
The creatures laughed while raven took off his hood completely pissed off.
- Ha-Ha very funny
- Easy there, feisty pants
Raven ignored the comment and went on to see the leader who was still resting. He wasn't expecting to see Oblivion in Omega's house, again. Once he saw them raven whispered to himself in a form of complain.
- Great, now what? Omega used to be feared and heartless. Now he's in love Ugh why did I say that?  This is seriously going to get that boy killed one day.
Omega was still alert and was able to spot the demon right away.
- Raven, wh- what have I told you about not coming in without knocking?!
Raven stepped in the room not very interested on what the alien had just say.
- Aye, there's no need to repeat yourself. I ignored you just fine the first time.
Omega hasn't change much. He still likes for everyone to know who's in charge. He immediately stood up going eye to eye with the demon. After all, raven has been the only one who never felt scared of him. Always able to challenge his empire. Oblivion decided to separate those two before they fight like they always do. Omega finally listened to her and backed off.
- I guess she managed to tame the beast, now you are just a puppy.
Raven said as he grabbed omega by the shirts pulling him closer.
- I sense goodness in you, Omega. We demons hunt goodness.
Omega freed himself from the grip as he said
- What happened to your loyalty, Raven?
- I don't follow any creature. We are just associates remember? I never let MY loyalty make a fool of me. We are only as blind as we want to be.
Omega decided to finally drop it to not create bigger problems.
- Okay Raven, what are you here for?
- I just wanted to let you know, he came back, and this time. It's up to greater evil than us.

Oblivion froze when she heard the news. She left without even saying goodbye only thinking about her friends back in the surface. Once she was out. Everything felt awfully quiet. There was no moon, no stars.
Oblivion's POV
When I left  the sunset had radiated across the cloud, turning it molten orange with bands of pink. Now it is gone and I sit under the starless, moonless sky. There is no twilight, only blackness. I feel claustrophobic, like I am in a cave. The low sky has become a ceiling of grey black rock above. Only the wind and the first drops of rain let me know that I'm are in the open. In the darkness the whole world could have blown away in a freak storm. I can smell the earth as if it's wiped clean, as if all the plant life is gone. I keep on walking, that's the only reason I know the ground is still there. Everything else has dissolved like it was never there at all, like the universe hasn't even begun, or perhaps it never was. In the darkness I can't get a sense that anything is important at all – life, death, pain. I want the dawn to come and kiss the land and remind this fickle heart that I'm not the only one here - that there is a whole planet of other sentient beings who live and love. But for now all I have is this starless sky, even the moon won't shine tonight. Perhaps she lies frightened, shivering, behind the unseen cloud.
End of Oblivion's POV
Her thoughts were interrupted by a sudden thunder closer to lab. She ran as fast as she could being careful to not slip on the ice.
Lightning came again, a brilliant shock of white in the graphite sky, forking silently to the unsuspecting ground. It cut crazy zig-zags into the black sky, each of them painting a previously unseen path whiter than the snow at her feet. She noticed something was following her. To her luck it was Omega, raven, ravage, and balarle hound. They got there as fast as they could. Oblivion watched in fear. The ice king got his icy claws ready as he held John's neck with the other. Though the shrapnel had moved too fast to be seen, the blood poured out as if in slow motion. It came as a red fountain to spread over the already wet mud, every projection showing the struggling of John's heart. He raised his already blanched hand to his neck before falling to his knees. Battle Hound had changed his emotionless expression. He rushed towards the injured man he cradled John, both of them bathed in his blood. John smiled so briefly before his breathing became a noisy rattle and coughing. Battle hound took off his mask letting see his face once again. Silent tears ran down the young man face as he whispered.
- John... I'm here
