Turns out the council knows me too, and most people in that building they call The Shelter. This "witch" came to see me. She did some weird things and only confirmed my memory's been wiped. She said it can come back by itself if my will is strong enough. She also said everything I remember is a total lie, and the 'friends' I had (Jasmine, Alice, Patty and Jocelyn) are probably fake too just like my 'parents'. It saddened me a little, but I was glad I finally found the missing piece, and who knows, maybe I wasn't even safe with them. I definitely feel safe now, this place is invisible to vampires and most people. And well, I have Kayden to take care of me...

It was 9pm and this place was full of life. At least half of the people here went outside, armed and ready to fight. I went downstairs and accidentally wandered into the empty training rooms. Well, not that empty since I saw a shirtless Kayden hitting a punching bag. I went behind a wall and peaked. He has a perfect six pack and his back muscles are just so amazing I could lick chocolate off of them. His messy brown hair were a little wet from sweat but that only made then look better.
"Are you gonna stand there forever or join me?" My cheeks blushed with embarrassment. I stepped into his sight.
"How did you know I was here?" I asked quietly.
"I could feel your eyes on me. Anyway, what are you doing here?" He asked as he ran his hand through his amazing hair.
"I was just... um... exploring."
"Really? What? My body?" He asked playfully as he took a step towards me and I blushed hard.
"Are you blushing?" He asked surprised.
I just wanted to ran away.
He saw I was getting uncomfortable and chuckled. He took a few steps back.
"Train with me." He said enthusiastically and I looked at him.
"What- Now?" I asked trying to get out of the situation.
"Yes, now. Come on, you used to beat my ass a few times." He chuckled and I hesitated.
"Come on, cupcake, I'll go easy on you." He said playfully and winked. I took a step towards him and took my position. He chuckled.
He kept getting closer and I was a little scared. I tried to throw a punch at him but he carelessly dodge it. With one move I was wrapped around him. His hand on my waist and my back against his chest, not able to move. He only used one hand and got me unable to move. He held me tighter and whispered in my ear,
"Come on, you know how to get out of this position. Don't think, just do it." I was getting... hot? I hit his hand with my elbow and he really laughed this time. He still held me close.
"See? You have muscle memory. Soon you'll be back on your feet." He said and let me go. I immediately missed his warmth. He clearly wasn't done and got ready for round two.
I tried throwing punches or whatever but it was just too easy for him.
"Come on, you hit like a girl!"
"I am a girl!" I said trying to hit him more quickly but he blocked my every movement.
"You used to be a bitch!" He joked. I suddenly swung my leg at him and he caught it. He held it next to his torso. I tried getting it back but he held it tightly.
"Let go!" I said frustrated.
"Make me". He said as he watched me carefully. God, what can I do?!
"I can't. Let me go." I said irritated.
"Aww, somebody's getting upset?" He said sarcastically and I sighed.
"Watch." He said and before I know what is happening I've been swung around and pinned by the wall, both of his hands on each side of me. His body was so close to mine it was almost touching. Almost.
"Maybe we should spice up the game a little bit." He suggested as his minty breath reached my skin.
He straightened up and walked up to an open cupboard. He took two wooden sticks. Each of them were a little long and he threw one to me. I caught it and watched how Kayden did some awesome tricks with it before swinging it one time the hardest and leaving it pointing my direction.
"Okay, I can't do that." I said weirdly as I took a step back.
"But you could. Come on, just try it." Okay I was frustrated right now.
"Kayden don't you get it? I don't know how to fight or defend myself, okay? Just leave me alone." I snapped and ran out of the room, throwing the stick on the floor.
"Olivia!" I heard him shout after me but I just ran up to the room which apparently was mine.

I took a quick shower and put my pajamas on. God, I acted like a baby.
I buried my head in the pillow and groaned.
If I could just hug my mum and hear her say that everything is gonna be alright... but I don't even have a mother...
I heard a knock on my slightly ajar door.
"Come in." I said loudly as I looked up form the pillow. It was Kayden. I buried my head in the pillow again.
"Hey." He said as he entered my room.
"Look, I'm sorry, I went too hard on you back there. I guess it must be hard for you, I mean, you just lost your family which you thought was real and everything..." he said sitting down on the edge of my bed. I looked up and him and sat next to him.
"It's so weird." I said after a while of silence.
"What's weird?"
"Were we in love?" I asked looking at him and his sharp jawline.
"I told you, yes, we were." He answered looking into my eyes.
"Am I even a virgin?" I asked and he bit his lip to stop a smile.
"No..." he answered and looked down. My mouth hanged open.
"We... we had... sex?" He looked at me playfully. 
"Yeah..." he said watching my expression and I just blushed a new shade of red.
"I can't believe it." I said under my breath.
"What can't you believe? That you fell for someone like me or that-"
"Don't finish that." I said and we both chuckled.
"How many times?" I asked more serious. 
"Just once." He answered more silently.
I sighed.
"I can't even remember my first time..."
"I can tell you about it." He said cockily and I bit my lip as I blushed.
But then he leaned even closer towards me until he could whisper in my ear.
"Or show you." He whispered more seriously and I bit my lip. He was driving me crazy!
"Do you still love me?" I asked all serious.
He straightened up.
"Look, it's been a year-"
"That's not an answer." I said looking him in the eyes.
"I don't know." He said simply and I nodded my head.
"Do you feel anything?" He asked me , curious.
"I don't know." I answered looking at him.
"I wanna do so many things to you." My heart stopped as I heard him say that.
"Like what?" I asked in a silent voice.
"Firstly, I wanna kiss you." He said seductively and I bit my lip. But then I snapped out of it.
"I think we should keep a distance for the time being." I said looking at him.
"What? Why?" He asked a little hurt.
"I just... I need time." I said and stood up, he did too. He was a little angry.
"I know it's hard for you but it's hard for me too, you know. I've lost a whole year without you by my side. I don't wanna leave you for a second."
"But you will because I fucking said so. Come on dude, I don't even know you and your telling me you want to kiss me! I'm not in love with you! I never was! I have no feelings whatsoever towards you don't you get that?! I've just lost my family which I actually did love so leave me the heck alone!" I shouted.
"As you fucking wish." He said and stormed out of the room and slammed the doors behind him, making me slightly jump.
