Bad Intentions

The evening was close.

Everyone was more than excited for the party in 1 hour. Well, everyone except me, of course. I mean, I would love to go, get out of this building, breathe some fresh air, but I wasn't invited. So I guess I'll spend the evening with Netflix and popcorn. I got up and walked downstairs to get some popcorn, in my pj's. As I walked past one of the dining halls, I saw Kayden talking with some people, before locking his eyes with mines. He frowned and I kept walking towards one of the kitchens.

As I walked inside the empty kitchen, I opened one of the cupboards and looked for popcorn. I jumped when someone slammed the doors shut. 'Jesus, Kayden!' I said still shaking as I closed the cupboard and looked at Kayden in a very sexy, white shirt and neatly styled hair back. 'Aren't you getting ready?' he asked confused, studying my face carefully.

"I don't think I should go..." I said shyly, looking down. He took a few steps towards me, but kept his distance. "And why's that?" He asked staring at me. "Basically I wasn't invited, and everyone here avoids me as if I somehow intimidate them, I have literally no friends, people see me as a lost puppy, even your own mother pities me and I haven't got a present for you because I'm not allowed to leave this goddamn place!" I said as my eyes were teary and Kayden came really closer. He took a deep breath and I looked into his eyes. "Don't look at me like that." he frowned, "Like what?" I rolled my eyes. "Like you pity me." he started to chuckle. What's so funny? "I'm sorry, but I definitely don't pity you. I just think you're cute, even when you're angry or when you cry. My mother doesn't pity you either, she's just trying to seem nice before she'll try to crush you, and no one here is intimidated by you, they just don't know what to say. You were always the social one, the bitchy, mean one who wore confident clothes, they don't understand what happened to you. Now..." he said cupping my cheek, sending sparks all other my body, "It's my birthday, baby girl. I despise it, but I gotta get through it. And if I can go through it, I'm pretty sure you can too. So go get ready because we're going in an hour. And don't worry about the present, unless you wanna go back to those comfortable clothes..." I immediately blushed and looked down. Why does he despise his own birthday? It doesn't matter for now, I only have an hour to get ready!

Olivia's dress above^

I decided to wear something more revealing than usually. The dress wasn't too comfortable, but it complemented my curves. I let my dirty blond hair down and wavy, they reached up to my breasts. I put some makeup on, made some good-ass smokey eyes with a little of silver. I paired it up with silver earrings and black heels.

Too bad I'm 40 minutes late. And since the oh-so-loyalty Anderson family came, we aren't going to a club anymore, but to a mansion somewhere. Then it hit me. Everyone's gone, and I don't have the address. 'Fuck!' I cursed to myself and threw myself on the bed. Suddenly I got an idea. I'll just call Kayden, duhh. I picked my phone and called his number.

After getting the voicemail five times, I stopped trying. Wait, didn't his mother write the address for him earlier so he could call a cab? The piece of paper must still be in his room!

I felt nervous going to his room without his permission. The only sound in the whole corridor was the tapping of my heels. I hesitantly grabbed the doorknob and entered the room, getting hit with the scent of him, which smelled like rain-forest and a cool breeze. I closed the doors behind me and walked towards his nightstand. Not here, not here... I stopped when I saw a picture in one of the drawers. It was a picture of me with him. We were both smiling widely, his hand around me, my hair were on one side and we looked genuinely happy. Then I heard someone's boots walking towards the room. Oh shit! What should I do? I heard the steps getting closer and before I knew it I panicked and stuffed myself inside his massive wardrobe. I heard someone walk inside slowly and carefully, before closing the doors behind them. Through the crack of the wardrobe, I tried to see who it was as anxiety was building inside me. Then I saw him.

Peter Anderson. Kayden's father. I frowned, confused. Shouldn't he be at the party?  I saw him put a bottle of expensive bourbon on his nightstand. He put a letter next to it with the words 'Happy Birthday, I know this is your favorite' on it.  As I thought he was going to leave, he didn't. He opened the bourbon and took out something from his pocket. He opened the tablets and put the inside of them inside the bourbon before closing it again and giving it a good shake. Then he out the bottle back on its place and headed towards the doors. Then, he left. What the hell was that?

I exhaled a deep breath and got out of his closet. What did he put in the bottle? I looked at his other nightstand and saw the piece of paper with the address on it. I picked it up and headed towards the doors. He can't have bad intentions towards his son, can he? Should I tell Kayden about it? I took one last look at the bottle before leaving.

The cab stopped at an amazing mansion. It was huge, white and beautifully lightened. As I walked towards the entrance, there were neatly cut trees and grass which was very nicely lighted, too. The mansion had at least 5 floors and looked really amazing. I was close to the doors now and I could hear the music blasting from it. As I was in front of the doors they just simply opened. Just like that. Weird. I entered the amazing and expensive building and immediately saw a lot of people. Everyone had cups in their hands and most people were dancing to the music. Many people saw me and shot me a smile, to my surprise. I headed deeper into the room and saw Kayden's father talking to some people in the garden. Somehow, I had a bad feeling about him. Suddenly my and his eyes locked and I felt myself stiffen. Play it cool, Olivia. I went outside and decided to greet him so it wouldn't be too awkward. He saw me coming and excused himself from other people. "Julia, nice to see you again." He greeted as he held his glass with whiskey tightly while faking a smile. "Thank you, sir. Are you enjoying the party?" I said as politely as I could and he bought it. "Please, dear, call me Peter. We know each other well, there's no need for such formality. And yes, it's a nice party even though I have to admit, I've seen better." I'm sure you have you rich fake-ass prick. I just smiled back and he sipped his whiskey, not breaking eye contact. "So, I know it must be a sensitive topic, but do you remember anything? Anything, at all?"He asked and if I didn't know better I'd say he sounded suspicious. "Sadly, Peter, it all just vanished into thin air." I said nice and short not wanting to talk to him anymore. "Now if you'll excuse me, I'd like to find Kayden to wish him happy birthday." I faked a smile. "Go ahead, love" he said before winking. Ew, did he just wink to me?

Before I entered the building again, I felt someone's eyes on me. I looked up and saw Katherine looking down at me from the balcony with a glare. She stood there, with her hands wide, looking like some evil queen. I ignored it and went inside.

Somehow, I found myself on the dance floor. I excused like a hundred people who were pushing and jumping before I finally reached the bar. I sat on a high, purple chair and took a deep breath. The bartender came up to me and asked me what I want. I honestly didn't know what to say so I blurred out "Sex on the beach". He gave an approving look before walking away. "Bartender, the strongest vodka you have!" Some guy next to me exclaimed and the bartender turned around and nodded. I looked at the guy and he looked at me back. He had light blond hair, a British accent and a perfectly white shirt. He was tall and strongly built. He seemed at least five years older than me and his nearly pitch black eyes were almost hypnotizing. He gave me a smile, showing his perfectly white teeth. "Hi, I'm Thomas. Do I know you from somewhere?" I bit my lip. "I don't think so." I said turning back around not looking at him anymore, giving him a I'm-not-interested sign. He didn't take it, "No honey, I believe you are Julia Martin, the girl who came back from the dead." He almost chuckled. "I think you got the wrong girl, my name is Olivia." I said carelessly and hoped that maybe he'd get the hint. "Yeah nice try, babe. But I remember a chick when I see one." Now I turned angrily towards him. "Get the fuck away from me, man. Don't you get it? I'm not interested." I said getting irritated. Suddenly he got a grip on my wrist and pulled me towards him. "Now, haven't they taught you in the Shelter how to behave?"  His grip was tight and painful and I glared at him. "Maybe they did, I don't care. Let go of me or there won't be nothing left of your hand, honey." I threatened and suddenly he crushed his lips with mines. What the fuck? I tired to push him away but I didn't have to try since he went flying across the room within seconds. I saw an angry Kayden marching towards him, ready to rip his head off. I quickly stood up and rushed towards Kayden. I grabbed his forearm and made him look at me. "Not here, Kayden!" I said desperately trying to stop him from making a scene. He looked me deeply in the eyes, and stopped. He grabbed my hand and dragged me somewhere after saying an angry "Fine."
