Thank you so much for choosing to read this book. Let's have a little chat before you start to get deep into the story. This is the first part of the "Legacy Duet'', a duology based on the Mughal siblings, Zeenia Mughal and Taimoor Ali Haider Mughal.

'Dusk to Dawn' is Zeenia and Asfand's love story. It's a prequel to 'Dawn to Dusk', set six years before the second book's timeline. The novella starts right after Taimoor's accident and self-exile, an event that re-shaped the Mughal dynasty.

The characters are all Muslims but do not represent Islam in any way. This book or these characters are not here to preach about any religion or tell us what's wrong or right. As I've said previously, the representation of Muslims matters. In a time when everyone wants to put us in a box, it's essential to realize that there are many stories that remain untold and unsaid because of the supposed stereotypes. There is more to us and our stories than what you see.
