As Lily fumbled with the key I asked her "what are we doing here? why are we here? why did Noah take you to the boys borders?" Lily looked up "shh Rose you have to be quiet!" she whispered. The key click in the lock the door slowly creaked open. In front of me I saw a room look like science classroom but it wasn't, i had a strange feeling about it. "Rose" Lily said "can I tell you the biggest secret of my life?" I I nodded unsure of what to say. Lily gestured around the room "I'm a magic hunter". Backing away I wondered why she would tell me that. It hit me, hit me hard. She was going to kill me or steal my powers. Crying I backed into the corner. "Rose?" Lily looked really puzzled "are you okay?" Her hand flew to her mouth as she pulled out a necklace it was a gold chain with a compass on it, but instead if an N for north there was a F, for Fairy. The point shook then pointed straight at me. I quickly glanced down at my ankle. Where was my anklet. About 30cm away from my foot lay my anklet. The name Rose glinted as Lily looked to where I was glancing. "R....r....Rose?" She stuttered in confusion. My chest was hurting so much as I continued to sob. " Sun and wind fire and rain please help me" suddenly the room lit up with a pink glow, "Lily, please dont kill me". She just stared at me with a weird glint in her eyes. "Ivey... I remember where I heard that name. The greatest fairy of this time Evelyn Ivey my parents are trying to track her down" she crumpled on the floor crying. "Lily... Evelyn Ivey was my mum" I said quietly.
"I can't do it Rose, I just can't!" She half shouted. I just looked puzzled. "My parents thought it wasnt a coincidence that the only school in the world with a magic library would have a principal with the last name Ivey. They said if me or Noah got a trace of Evelyns child, we were to kill them instantly" she wiped her eyes " Rose Ivey, as soon as I meet you I knew we would become great friends, if you promise to be careful and not let Noah find out I won't kill you" stepping forward we hugged. Lily reached down and picked up my anklet. Quickly fastening it around my ankle she warned me that I would need to find stronger protection because Noah was a very good magic hunter.
We then made a pact:
Rose will not use any powers in the presence of Noah Blackers and Lily will try and prevent him finding out. The most important part was that we vowed to be the best of friends and helpdeach other no matter what.
